Running takes you places. No matter the distance, there’s an event for you.

Colourful abstract background with centred text that reads: “lululemon SeaWheeze is back.” In the bottom left corner, it says: “Vancouver, BC. August 8, 2026.”

Half marathon. Full send.

The myth, the legend is returning to Vancouver on August 8, 2026. Registration opens in January, so start rallying your run crew for our two-day party of epic proportions.

SeaWheeze FAQs

Race weekend will take place on Aug 7-8, 2026. Race Day and Sunset Festival are on Saturday, August 8.

Our hometown of Vancouver, Canada.

We've heard you loud and clear—and honestly, we missed it too. It's time to celebrate Vancouver and our community across the globe again with our largest community event.

Staying true to its roots, this edition of SeaWheeze will be a half-marathon (21.1km or 13.1mi). That’s the only distance for 2026, but who knows what the future may hold?

Could you have one without the other? Sunset Festival will also be making its triumphant return to Brockton Fields in Stanley Park – the evening of August 8, 2026. For now, our lips are sealed on who's playing, but feel free to build your training playlists with the artists you’d love to see.

To keep things fair and accessible, registration for this year’s race will be done by random draw. This process helps us manage high demand while keeping the starting line open to everyone, from first-timers to seasoned runners. We’ll share more details later this Fall before registration opens in January 2026.
