Personal Shopper FAQs

Find helpful answers about the Personal Shopper Membership benefit.

A Personal Shopper is a dedicated lululemon Educator who builds an ongoing, one-on-one relationship with you over time. They're here to help—whether that’s finding the right product, giving you a heads up on new arrivals, or styling pieces you already love. Along the way, they'll get to know your goals, celebrate your milestones, and may even surprise you now and then.

Personal Shoppers get to know your preferences and support you through SMS.

How can Personal Shopper help me?

Personal Shoppers can:

  • Recommend products based on your goals, activities and preferences

  • Share new arrivals, drops or collections

  • Answer fit, sizing, and styling questions

  • Offer thoughtful suggestions for gifting or special occasions

  • Support you with personalized product knowledge

If you’re in a participating city, you may also have the option to connect with your Personal Shopper in store (completely optional).

You can expect to hear from your Personal Shopper at least once a month, though it may be more, depending on your conversations and what you need. Personal Shoppers are real people with schedules, days off, and holidays—so responses may not be immediate, but they’ll always follow up as soon as they can.

Signing up is easy through the Personal Shopper benefit tile on your Membership Benefits page. At this time, sign-up is only available through our website—stay tuned for when app-sign up will be available.

  • You’ll need to share your zip or postal code and SMS consent upon sign up

  • The Personal Shopper program is available to Collective Plus and Collective Pinnacle members only

  • It’s not available to employees

  • It’s currently offered in select regions in the US and Canada

  • You’ll need a US or Canadian phone number to participate

Once you sign up, if a Personal Shopper is available, you'll receive a text to confirm enrollment and an email confirming who you've been connected with. If we're at capacity, we'll add you to a waitlist and reach out as soon as a spot opens.

This benefit is first-come, first-served, and depends on availability and demand. During our launch period starting April 28, 2026, you can expect to hear from your Personal Shopper within 3 to 4 weeks if you’re matched.

If you’re in a participating city—yes. In-person meetings are optional and available in select stores only. Please note, it’s against our policy for Personal Shoppers to meet outside of our stores or cities outside of the participating list.

To update your phone number, visit the Personal Shopper benefit tile on our website through your Membership Benefits page, edit your phone number, and re-confirm your zip or postal code and SMS consent.

What’s expected of me?

To participate, you just need to:

  • Sign up through your Membership Benefits Page through our website

  • Provide your zip or postal code and consent to receive marketing SMS

  • Reply to messages when it suits you

Nothere’s no commitment or minimum timeline. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP, OPT OUT, QUIT, END, CANCEL, or UNSUBSCRIBE to any text message, or you’re welcome to let your Personal Shopper know directly.

If you're no longer a Collective Plus or Collective Pinnacle member, you'll be unenrolled from the program and SMS communication will stop.

You can opt out at any time by replying STOP, OPT OUT, QUIT, END, CANCEL, or UNSUBSCRIBE to any text message or by letting your Personal Shopper know directly. Once you’ve unenrolled, all SMS communication with your Personal Shopper will stop.

If you want to enroll again after previously opting out of our SMS (voluntarily or by mistake), you're always able to send START to your Personal Shopper phone number and resubmit your SMS consent through the Membership Benefits Page to get back in touch.
