Afterpay and Klarna
About Afterpay
Afterpay is a service that allows you to make purchases now and pay for them in four payments made every 2 weeks. You can log in to your Afterpay account to view your payment schedule and make a payment before the due date if you choose to do so. Your purchase will need to fall within the minimum $1 CAD/USD and a maximum spend of $2000 CAD/USD to qualify.
Afterpay is only offered to our customers who have a Canada/US billing address, Canada/US shipping address, a Canada/US Visa or Mastercard (credit or debit card) and a Canada/US mobile phone number. Customers with international billing addresses, shipping addresses, and/or phone numbers won’t be able to set up an account with Afterpay.
Afterpay is available in the US and Canada online through the website or the app and only available in US stores (not yet available in Canadian stores).
If you’re having any trouble making payments, Afterpay has a hardship policy.
About Klarna
Klarna is an alternate payment method that lets you split your purchase into 4 interest-free payments. Your purchase will need to fall within the minimum $1 CAD/USD and a maximum spend of $2000 CAD/USD to qualify.
The first payment will be taken from your credit or debit card when your order ships. The remaining three payments will be automatically charged to your card 14, 28, and 42 days later. If you want to pay off your purchase early, you can log in at the top of the Klarna page, go to the order page, and select “Pay off early”. If the automatic payment fails, Klarna will try again after 7 days. If this payment also fails, Klarna will make another attempt after a further 7 days (14 days after the date of the first attempt).
To sign up for Klarna, you’ll need, a Canadian/US debit or credit card, to be 18 years of age or older, an SMS-capable phone number and a Canadian/US residential address. Klarna currently accepts most debit and credit cards (Mastercard, Visa, AMEX, Discover), however, prepaid cards are not accepted.
Klarna is available in the US and Canada online through the website or the app and only available in US stores (not yet available in Canadian stores).
How it Works
Afterpay or Klarna can be chosen as a form of payment at checkout. If you’re purchasing online, you’ll use your Afterpay or Klarna account (which is linked to your debit or credit card) to complete the purchase. Afterpay and Klarna are both available in the US and Canada online through the website or the app. They are currently only available in US stores (not yet available in Canadian stores).
With Afterpay, you’ll make your first of four payments at the time of purchase. With Klarna, your first of four payments will be charged once your order ships. Every two weeks, the remaining three payments will be automatically deducted from your chosen payment method. There won’t be any additional interest or fees when you pay on time.
Returns and Refunds
Any purchase using Afterpay or Klarna is subject to our Return Policy. You can stop by a store to return or exchange your item or contact us to set up an online return. We’ll let Afterpay/Klarna know about your return, and they’ll handle your refund. Make sure you’re not returning your items to Afterpay or Klarna directly.
If you receive a partial refund, once your refund is processed, your Afterpay or Klarna payment schedule will be adjusted to reflect the new total.
Safe and Secure
Afterpay is a PCI DSS Level 1 certified compliant Service Provider organization—the highest level of security in the payment industry.
Klarna strives to make online shopping a safe and secure experience. Klarna’s Fraud and Liability Protection safeguards you in the event of any unauthorized purchases.
