Rated 4 out of 5 by JLiaoster from Great fit but shoddy material I recently purchased this pair of tights because I wanted to start my running season, and the reviews say that it's a warm pair of tights. The fit was great but where it fell short for me was the material near the groin. This pair of tights had "Run, Train" under the "Designed For" designation, and that's what I intended to use it for, running. After only taking it out for 4 running sessions, the material started pilling at the groin section, where friction was unavoidable. So I'd suggest if you were to get this pair of tights, be cautious when wearing them while doing high friction activities.

Rated 5 out of 5 by mystic from Awesome! I decided to get these because I am always cold if I wear dress pants to work during the fall/winter time. If you have worn before Eddie Bauer, Icebreaker Merino Wool, these lululemon thermal tights function the same way, snug and to keep warm. I have all three and let me tell you the difference. EB is static-ky, Merino wool is good, yet scratchy, while these lululemon ones combined the best of both - smooth, non-scratchy, stretchy, non-static, and is lined with silver to prevent odour bacterial growth! I'm definitely wearing these when the weather is cold or travelling to colder countries! I'm 32" waist, 5"11, 165lbs, lean/athletic and I got the L. I can fit M too but I prefer it to be less tight, just my personal preference. If you are going to use it for sports, running or anything high activity, you should get the M if you are the same build as me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by MattClouts from New favourite base layer I bought these to wear underneath my snow pants while out skiing and I am so glad I did. They have officially replaced my long john's as my base layer of choice. I am 6'3" so these don't quite fall to my ankles but I usually wear longer socks, so that isn't much of a problem. I will also be using these as an added layer below my shorts for cooler morning runs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Hollywood62 from Warmest Most Comfortable Base Layer This base layer is comfortable and warm. I use these thermal tights under my suit pants on sub-freezing days during the winter. They keep me comfortably warm outdoors and not too hot when indoors.

Rated 4 out of 5 by elana79 from Good for cool weather, but not for the cold Bought these for my boyfriend for Christmas, asked him for a review... He states that these leggings are good, stretchy and comfortable. He is a runner and cyclist and has very muscular legs and glutes so they are quite snug in these areas and not so snug in the waist, but not so much of a disparity that this makes them uncomfortable. He also says that they are not warm enough for the very frigid days here in the Canadian Rockies, however, they are sufficient on cooler days (up to a few degrees below freezing).

Rated 3 out of 5 by ProCombat from Not compression pants - thermals. I am a little disappointed by the fit of these. First pair I bought, I went true to size (medium) but quickly found them to be huge for me. I returned them for a small and still feel they are: Too long Not tight enough Difficult to get past your feet I'm 5'11" and 165 lbs - not a small person, but not a huge person. I normally wear a 32/32 jean size and the Small with this thermal is actually too long for me and bunches at the bottom a bit. Lastly, the in store rep told me these were supposed to be a "second skin" type "compression" fitting pant. If you're looking for an athletic compression pant, these are NOT what you are looking for. They are absolutely a THERMAL TIGHT, and not something like a Nike ProCombat. Also note, these have a very low inseam for the groin so don't expect to be "held in firmly."
