Rated 1 out of 5 by from Big hole! Fabric tears apart I'm so disappointed. I bought this bag for my Lululemon 5mm Mat. After just two weeks of use I noticed a big hole next to where the band is attached on one of the sides. When I took a better look, I saw the fabric had TORE.. I just carry my mat, and as I said before, it is a Lululemon yoga mat... Not cool.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pretty Happy with this Product...wondering if I can purchase a strap As it says in my review title, I'm pretty happy with this bag. I've had it for a year and the only wear I'm noticing is that the ventilation grommet is starting to come detached from the bag. The strap has started to smell and the stink won't come out no matter how I clean it (I throw it over my shoulder after a hot yoga class almost daily) and I'm wondering if there's a way to either have it replaced it with a new one or purchase a new one.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Cheap Zipper I received this as a gift quite some time ago and finally busted it out for a trip to India earlier this month. I was in love. After returning home, and using it for the sum total of less than 10 times, the zipper to the small pocket for valuables broke with the zipper "doo hickey" ripping off as I closed it up. Problem was that inside of said pocket were my keys to my house and my cell phone. Its kind of hard to get back home when your keys are locked inside of the pocket with no way to pen it. So, onto the cleaners I went... and they were nice enough to rip open (destroy) that zipper for me to get my keys/phone out and offered ever so nicely for $20 to replace the zipper. Now, I'm without a yoga bag until I get it back and quite honestly, am wondering if/when the other 2 zippers will go which will then equate to the price of the bag it must have cost originally. Very disappointed... but you don't make any fun patterns/colors in this bag anymore for me to get a new one that's not black. Why no fun patters anymore?!?

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Damaged Yoga Mat I really like this mat bag- I used to use it to carry my liforme mat, my essential oils, my face wipes, wallet, and occasionally a water bottle to and from the classes I was teaching and taking. Recently, I started using a manduka pro mat instead of my liforme- and I was distraught to realize that the black zipper on my bag created a big black line down the width of my new manduka pro. The bag still works fine, but I'm always careful not to place it down to where the zipper is beneath the mat, which I think is a little ridiculous- the point of buying a bag is for it to PROTECT your mat, not damage it! I still haven't been able to get the black line off my beautiful new mat :( I loved this bag before the zipper left that mark, though. Maybe it was just the texture of the manduka not mixing well with the zipper, but either way I'm disappointed in that regard.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from My bag ripped Absolutely poor quality, it says it holds 22kg, my bag main compartment one corner fully ripped, exactly the whole corner, with a manduka black mat which weighs around 3.5 kgs, That is weird. How it happened? I have used it for a few months traveled around the world. But today it just gave up, strange! There was nothing heavy in it!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Best yoga mat bag I've found, could still use improvement This is the best yoga mat bag I've found. I had been really frustrated with carrying my mat in other subpar bags as well as just trying to tote it around with a strap or in an REI flash pack sticking out the top when I saw someone with this bag at a Wanderlust 108. I bought it with the gift card promotion they had a few months back, so I only paid $10 for it. It's a solid, well-thought-out yoga mat bag that is ALMOST perfect. I chose this over The Yoga Bag bc I liked the shape of the main compartment opening better, prefer having a mesh pocket and I hated the way The Yoga Bag's strap was connected at the top. Chafed my neck/shoulder even when I was just trying it on empty much less with a mat and gear in it. The size is great, fits my 4mm rubber mat just fine as well as a towel in the inside compartment. It's easy to get in and out of there and while my 4.5lb mat is pretty heavy for me to carry (I'm 5'4" 105# with back problems) but this is one of the most ergonomic options I've found. The strap is solid and all the way adjustable so it fits well around my small frame and it's easy to carry. The outside mesh pocket is great and I've stuffed it to the brim with toiletries, makeup wipes and a change of street clothes before. The side pocket is cute and is big enough to carry hair ties, keys, phone, etc. My suggestions: 1. The profile of the bag is totally big enough to put another length size pocket which would really help expand it's capacity for those of us who want to use it as a commute bag. If I could get a set of (SF) winter street clothes (basically, if it would fit a sweatshirt) in it along with yoga gear, I could easily see myself carrying only this bag on days I don't have to tote my 15" laptop back and forth. 2. Double zippers!!!! The main compartment I think is mostly fine, because I typically open it all the way on the floor to get my mat in and out, but I constantly wish the mesh pocket had two zippers! It's so annoying to be trying to get my one thing out of my makeup bag at one end while fighting everything else falling out in the process. Likewise, I would totally keep other things in the main compartment to distribute the bulk that compartment had two zippers and things inside would be easier to access when the bag is upright in use. 3. I was kind of excited about the little side pocket, but honestly, so far I've only lost hair ties in it. It's very difficult to access when I'm carrying the bag,, so I'd appreciate it farther down on the other side. Otherwise, a small bag clipped to the front of the strap would be a lot more useful. I find myself keeping all the things I thought I would put in there in my pockets for ease of access. 4. After only around two months, I noticed the top of the bag where the shoulder strap was connected starting to fray - but not on the weight bearing top side, only on the bottom side. Within a single day of just carrying it to and from class I was left with a massive hole in the top (though it was still functional) even though I'd been doing that 3-4x a week for the whole time I owned it. I still have NO idea what happened. I brought it back and after intense scrutiny was told it could be a QC issue (aka, I didn't cut it open on purpose) and they let me exchange it for a new one. So far, that one has held up for 3 weeks, so I really hope that was just a random freak accident. The rest of the bag seems so well constructed it really surprised me. Seriously Lulu, fix your QC. So, I like the bag better than any other one I've tried and would recommend it, but a few more zippers and an extra compartment and it would be perfect!!!! Also... if someone could make an ergonomic backpack with chest and waist straps that can hold a 15" laptop and a yoga mat that doesn't weigh 4lbs by itself and I would be all over it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Hands-free Tote Just love my tote. Allows me to just have ONE bag to carry to the studio as it fits my car keys, cards and even a small umbrella!!! Future design idea: maybe a key ring hook for easy access to keys at the top of the tote ... perfect tote either way :)

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Broken Zipper I purchased this bag a few months ago. It was working great until it didn't. I was riding my bike with this bag & when I reached my location I noticed the zipper had come apart from the middle outwards and everything that was in the main compartment of the bag (Mat & Strap) was gone. It had fallen out along my ride. So now I'm left with no bag, strap or mat :(

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best yoga bag I love this yoga bag! I have tried several bags now and they haven't been what I need - either too small, not enough pockets, inconvenient pockets, etc. I also am a huge manduka girl but their options pale in comparison to this bag. It holds my manduka prolite and then I usually pack my yoga towels in that same space, I put my lock in the small side pocket, and can put clothes, water bottle, phone, even wallet in the mesh pocket if I want. Excellent if you carry your mat around or go to the studio a lot!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor Design I am a college student and used to enjoy purchasing lulu products because they last through rigorous workouts. With that said I thought I would treat myself to a nice yoga bag to carry my mat around from home to the studio...recently I discovered that the bag has ripped at the top seem. This is extremely discouraging because the only thing I carry in the bag is a LULU yoga mat. Very unhappy with this product and not sure if I will splurge on lulu again, particularly for yoga gear.
