Wunder Under Crop

Who knew the Eighth Wonder of the World was actually stretchy crops?
*You may experience sheerness with some of our bright-coloured bottoms because of the lightweight nature of the fabric. We recommend you do a couple of Down Dogs in your bright-coloured bottoms to ensure you’re happy with the fit and coverage.

why we made this

We created these crops to be a no-fuss tight for our yoga practice, but we just couldn't stop wearing them. The second-skin fit of the Wunder Under makes it easy to check our alignment and the calf-length leg allows us to keep cool when we sweat.

  • the four-way stretch makes them so comfortable we wear them every day

  • chafe-resistant flat seams let you focus on your form

Wunder Under Crop 3.7 5 1049 1052
losing faith :-( I am a lulu addict, so it is hard to give products anything but 5 stars. I always read reviews and sometimes think people are too harsh, however Lulu is high priced and (supposedly) high end workout gear. I live in it... A few years ago I discovered the wunder unders and fell in love. Last year I loved all the bright colors and patterns, and the same is true this year. I wasn't even bothered when they changed the gusset from diamond to triangular. But the see through factor is a MAJOR problem now. I understand needing to wear nude underwear with lighter color clothing, but there isn't really a solution for this. I was so excited to see the new twiggy printed power purple crops online, so I ordered them right away. I've been anxiously awaiting them. I was in a store today, and they didn't have the purple printed ones, but they had the light soot ones. They looked cute and I tried them on. The first thing I noticed was the "different" material. Not at all luxurious feeling. (The gingham ones from earlier in the season are a different material, too, but I still like them because they ARE NOT see through). The twiggy print is super cute and flattering, HOWEVER, they are sooo see through (more than just "some sheerness"). You basically can see your flesh color through the white design. I wanted to walk out with them, but couldn't justify them--especially because I use these crops for yoga. Ugh. The solid power purple ones were minimally sheer, but not nearly as bad. The pop orange pinstripe ones were SUPER sheer and the teal pinstripe ones I tried on awhile back were even more so! So sad! I struggle rating the wunder unders, though, because some are still okay...like the herringbone ones from the winter are great! They are different. The regular colored ones are different, the printed ones are different...it is hard to predict what you will get! So the only reason I gave 3 stars is because I still like the cut and like some of the colors of the crops, but the material MUST get thicker. Please, Lulu, listen to your loyal customers... Thin, see-through, tacky feeling fabric Love the style, have tons of these in the regular and crop length, and used to buy them all the time whenever they came out with a new color or pattern -- back before lulu turned them into cheap knock-offs of their own product. Refused to believe the rumors lulu quality had tanked, but sadly it's true. The newer version of these are not even a shadow of the former. The current pants are made of a weird fabric that claims to be the same luon or luon light, but feels nothing like it used to. While the older versions felt soft, substantial, high quality and sometimes even like cotton depending on the fabric, these truly feel like something you'd buy at a cheap drugstore. They now have a plastic-y, polyester feel, just like what you'd expect cheap synthetic fabric to feel like. The big problem is they aren't cheap, or what you expect from lulu! Even the wildly printed fabrics are super thin and see through! They look fine until you put them on or even stretch them slightly over your hand. Really wanted the twiggy pattern because it is very cute, and while I seriously considered getting them despite the sheerness, just couldn't justify the price with all the limitations. You could definitely get away with them and have a cute pair of leggings as long as you plan ahead very carefully to 1) wear the right underwear (if there is such a thing that wouldn't show through), 2) wear a long top that covers past your hips, 3) don't do any movements that require you to bend down or bend over, or if you do make sure no one is ever behind you, 4) be sure to remove the tag because you can totally see it on your bum like you aren't even wearing anything, or 5) wear in dimly lit places. While the fabric seems fine when you're just looking at it, definitely try it on and move around to make sure you're ok with the sheerness. Really too bad to see such a sharp decline in quality. Plus side, lulu is saving me a ton of money these days. May 21, 2013
Scary Colours I would love to buy another pair of these, but really need to see some in neutral colours, like black and dark grey! I would never feel comfortable wearing these bright pants...women like black on the bottom for a reason...because it is SLIMMING! And then can be paired easily with brightly coloured tanks. Lulu, please bring tights Wunder Under's back in black; and make sure that when you do, they are not sheer as can be! May 15, 2013
Where's the quality? I have been a fan of lulu for so long I can't express how disappointed I'm with what the company has become. The quality continue to drop and the customer service in the stores aren't that great anymore. Where's that quality and can do attitude that lulu was once so proud of?? I have been waiting for black wunder under since April. I was told to check back in two weeks in April and 2 weeks later I was told come back in June. I love the orange crop and guess what, obviously when I bought it no one said anything in the store, for quite a while it didn't occur to me until my husband saw me doing a down dog one day, and he said he can totally see my underwear. Boy I'm so embarrassed I have been wearing that this whole time in public and it is see thru!!!! This is unacceptable and humiliating! May 14, 2013
Great color but... Completely see through! I am so disappointed. I bought these in the pop orange color, which is such a great color, but they are completely see through! I don't even have to bend over, my thong could be seen even through the waistband! After all of the bad press I had hoped to see some better quality from lulu, what a let down. I'm not sure I'll be purchasing any more crops until the quality is significantly improved. May 8, 2013
Left the store with nothing today I walked in the store, determined to get a pair of WUC, as I desperately need one for my crossfit class. I love the orange color, the fit, the cut, the way it makes my legs look, BUT they are waaaayyy too thin, and undies are easily shown through. And this is definitely not because I have a big rear, i'm 5'6, 115lb, BMI 18-19, and I have a small butt. I tried size 6 which is on the larger side of my size range, and it is still see-through. PLS make them thicker, I hate to walk out with nothing! May 8, 2013
See through I thought the sheerness issue had been dealt with, and was finished. It is not. Just bought these in Pure White...thought they might be OK with skin coloured undies...uh, no. My husband, who is not a prude at all said my lady parts were clearly on display. I love the idea of pure white, but think they'll have to be done in a double thickness reversible. A pastel on the opposite side would ensure the white stays pure white looking. Or a little skirt overlay would work. Why do I have to do the product improvement for you these days lulu?? I think I shoud be on the payroll...! May 6, 2013
Sadly See Through I love these crops. I got them in the sea stripe polar haze black/black. They're too adorable for words... and they are totally see through. I'm so disappointed. Seriously, I just spent $72.00 on crop pants for the gym, where is quality control here? The pattern, cut, and fit are perfect aside from this horrific problem. May 4, 2013
Where'd they get this material!?! I have an obsession with all my lulu items, so naturally I thought that ordering the frond wunder unders crops would be a great purchase.....boy was I wrong! They are the worst! I have a pretty small frame (sz 4 lulus) but these make my legs look terrible AND show every imperfection!! The material is paper thin and cheap quality! They also hug my "girl area" in a very odd way. I don't know who designed these, but they are just horrific!! Great color, but DO NOT BUY THESE! May 3, 2013
Completely see-through First off, there are NO black pairs in the store!! What?? The woman who works there told me that they "hope to get some in at the beginning of the summer." I did try on the dune pattern just to give them a chance...in two sizes up from my normal pant size...and they were completely see through. TWO SIZES UP. I could see my thong without even bending over. I would love to have a cute pair of black ones that weren't see through, but I'm not going to pay almost 80 bucks for something when I could go naked and it would look almost the same. May 2, 2013
