What The Sport Short
I'm 5'4" and 140 lbs. Size 8. Not much of a butt NOR do I have large thighs, but I can't wear "traditional" running shorts because they ride up and bunch up at the crotch even though I know plenty of gals that have thighs larger than mine who don't have that problem. Go figure! So in the summer it's always a challenge to find good compression shorts that will suit my figure, taste, and will stay in place.
THESE are the bomb!
They are long enough to cover the rubbing part of my thighs, yet short enough to not look like a dork. They DO ride up when I first start to run, but as soon as I start to seat they stay put. I have run up to 10 miles in them with absolutely no chaffing or constantly pulling down.
The only issue I have had is the same I have had with every single pair of shorts or skorts I have ever worn. They ride up when I do sprints for speed intervals. I'm okay with that though since they are short distances that will not irritate me at all.
I love the the waist. Not too low, not too high. Not too tight. I carry weight in my middle so muffin tops are another issue I have to look out for. These are perfect!
I hated spending so much money on a pair of shorts, but I bought two of them and they are worth every penny!
Looking forward to running many more miles in these!

Best shorts ever!
These shorts are perfect. They're long enough that they don't ride up while running or working out at the gym, but short enough that they're still cute. The pockets on the side are great too, I put my phone in there while running and it didn't move at all. I wish there were more of the cute patterns in these!

not for me
Firstly, I'm amazed these aren't see-through! Every bottom I've tried on (save for the wonder under pant and high times pant) has been see-through and no, it's not because I'm wearing the wrong size.
I ordered these in 'harper blue' and the color is very pretty but with the black band they look a little too much like boxer briefs for my taste so I'm going to return them.

HELLO LONG DISTANCE SHORTS!
These. Are. The. Shorts. I've tried speed, tracker, boogie; all are cute and comfy but none truly stand up to serious distance training, especially in warm weather (chafing is real). I bought these shorts specifically for long distance running and gym workouts, and after wearing them in the LA Marathon last weekend, I can say with 100% that these babies WERK.
I normally wear a 2 in tights and 4 in shorts, the 4 fits perfectly. Longer length means less rubbing, but they aren't so long that I'm getting early 90's flashbacks. Not so short that they ride up. Wide waistband is comfortable and stays put. I use the side pockets for gels so no more stuffing and fumbling with the waistband. Fabric feels substantial and holds up to high temps (90s) and long workouts.
I will DEFINITELY be snapping up a few more pairs for summer! More colors please!

shorts that stay up
Have worn these shorts in two CrossFit competitions now as well as regular training. Super comfy, they don't roll at the band and they don't ride up. Perfect for lifting, running, gymnastics and yoga. Have recommended them to my crossfit mates. Great design! My favourites

Best Athletic Short Out There
These shorts are awesome. In fact, they're so awesome that I made an account just so I could review these shorts. I'm a student athlete at my college. For reference, I'm about 5'10", weigh about 130 lbs, and have a very lean, yet muscular and athletic build. I spend a total of 20 hours a week training, so you can imagine that I practically live in athletic clothing. However, I've had a lot of trouble trying to find shorts that I liked enough to wear for strength and conditioning training. My go-to's have been the 3" Nike Pro spandex shorts, but after trying on a pair of these, it's likely that I'll never go back. Sure, these are a little more pricey, but they're well worth shelling out the extra money. When I wear Nike Pros, I'm constantly having to reach down and pull them out of my crotch, and you can bet on having camel toe after a single set of squats. Instead of worrying about my workout, I'm afraid that the entire men's basketball team is staring at my crotch in the weight room. Needless to say, I'm astounded by Lulu's "What The Sport Short." No riding up, no camel toe, and as an extra added bonus, the pockets are big enough to slide your iPhone into so you can listen to your workout playlist when lifting. Plus, the band at the top is super comfy and looks awesome too. A++, Lululemon. I bought them in "cyber stripe deep coal black," size 6. The fit is impeccable, and they won't give you muffin top like the Nike Pros do. I may just have to make another trip to Lulu to pick up another pair or two.

Stays put fairly well
It is promising to see shorts this length because I personally don't want to be running in underwear, which it what happens in nearly every compression short of a shorter length. I wore them on a six-mile run, and they stay put much better than any short I've worn before, but they do move a bit (I had to readjust twice to find a spot where they'd stay put). This combined with one other issue is the reason I only gave them three stars. I purchased the blue pair, and they show sweat VERY badly. I think it's ridiculous that a workout company continues to make products that completely change color when wet, especially tight shorts where it looks like you peed your pants.

Do not miss out on these...
Perhaps the most comfortable short I've ever worn. Wore them on an 8 mile indoor track run and did not need to adjust them even once! Took advice of previous reviewers, sized up one size.

What I've Been Waiting For!
FINALLY! A SHORT THAT IS IN BETWEEN THE BOOGIE AND GROOVE. THIS IS DEFINITELY A WINNER!! PLEASE CONTINUE THIS SHORT WITH MORE PRINTS, PLEASE. US GALS WITH THE AVERAGE BODY NEED THIS LENGTH SHORT. I'VE TRIED THE BOOGIE SHORT - TOO SHORT OF AN INSEAM AND WAY TOO MUCH SHOWING FOR BIKRAM YOGA. GROOVE SHORT: JUST A LITTLE TOO LONG FOR THE HOT ROOM. WHAT THE SPORT SHORT: PERFECTION! LOVE THE MEDIUM RISE, WIDE STRETCH WAIST BAND W/ DRAWSTRING, NO RIDE UP ON THE LEG AND NO CAMEL TOE! BOTH POCKETS COME IN HANDY THAN THE LITTLE CARD POCKET THAT MOST OF THE LULU SHORTS COME WITH. I SIZED UP, WHICH WAS JUST RIGHT, NO MUFFIN TOP, BUT SNUG ENOUGH TO NOT SLIP DOWN WHILE IN CLASS. CAN'T WAIT TO PURCHASE THE LUXTREME.
