Rated 4 out of 5 by Shan47 versatile shorts!
i found that these shorts fit slightly tighter than my other lulu bottoms even though i got my usual size, but i just wear them slightly lower on the waist than i normally would and it works fine. these shorts work great for running, other types of workout, and everything in between. the block it pocket works really well! i worked as a day camp leader in the summer and my phone (iPhone 5s fits perfectly in the pocket) was in the pocket when a bucket of water was dumped on my head and my phone stayed dry even though the rest of my waistband was soaked! these shorts are great, it just might be a good idea to try them on in store before buying

Rated 4 out of 5 by Bettie Too tight too loose
I first tried the 8 which was comfortably loose around the legs and booty, but too loose around the waist to run in. I exchanged for a size 6 which fit perfectly around the waist ( I'm 5'4/135 lbs) but it fit way too tight around the booty and thighs. The shorts are too darn cute to pass up, so I had to go back to an 8 and figure out a way to keep them on while I run. I squat pretty heavy and have a fuller butt and thicker legs because of this. If you don't lift, you'll love these shorts and you won't have the issues I'm having. I still highly recommend them!

Rated 4 out of 5 by Lalec Awesome summer shorts
I just received these shorts and I must say, I love the way they look! The only thing is that the underwear lining is a little tight, yet when I go up a size the shorts are way too big on me. I ordered the grapefruit colour and after wearing them during a an extra sweaty tennis session this morning, the dark grey dye from the waist band had leaked down onto my grapefruit coloured bum. I frantically threw them in the wash and they came out fine, but just something to keep in mind!

As a spin instructor, the short struggle is real! These are a perfect fit! They don't ride up (hence the title of review) and when you stand up they fall back to their original place. I also use them to teach other formats like Insanity and don't ever have to worry about them being bunched up in unwanted places! I'm sure we all, instructors and students, have been there!

Rated 5 out of 5 by TheFigureSkater exactly what i was looking for
i wanted plain black shorts that i could workout with and still have it at a nice length and these are perfect. I'm about 5'3'' and 130lbs, i normally get a size 6 in about everything Lululemon and these were no different. they are great and i would love to by more colors. personally the price was a bit too high but my other lulu items have lasted a while so i hope these do as well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Ma9Tilda Wider band ? cute $4 extra gimmick
These shorts look absolutely adorable on! And I?m talking about the grapefruit/heather ones (neon orange, really ? hello 1980s!). The band in these shorts is a little wider than in regular Speed shorts to offer a tiny-weeny bit wider zipper-pocket lined with a ?special? fabric protecting our belongings from sweat. For me, that pocket is $4 extra gimmick ($58 instead of $54) since my BlackBerry does not fit into it anyway. The wider band has its plus: these shorts look even more appealing than regular Speed. I find them equally comfortable ? I have a flat tummy so I actually like things that accentuate my silhouette a bit. Also, I think that these ?Speed Block-It? shorts are true to size and are very comparable with regular Speed, both 2- and 4-way stretch. I am 26? in waist and 34.5? at the widest part of my hips and I wear size 4 in these shorts. I like them so much that I bought 2 pairs; I highly recommend them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by lululemondancer1 great shorts
I've had these shorts for about 5 months now and will never grow tired of them! While I don't always use them for what's intended (running), I wear them to dance class, a general workout at the gym, on walks, and I enjoy wearing them out and about or to school on a comfy, casual day. I don't find the block-it pocket a necessary feature, but that could be due to the activities I use these shorts for. Something that surprised me about these shorts is the liner. Normally I'm not into them and just find them annoying, but for this shorter style, it's comfortable and necessary. I do not chafe at all and it prevents the shorts from riding up! Overall very flattering and comfortable. Totally worth the money!

These shorts are soo soo soo cute. The cut makes it so that it covers your entire behind and still looks really good. It doesn't drape over the butt like a curtain but actually slightly hugs the butt. The material is really soft, comfortable, and airy. I got the bright orange/peach one and I feel so energetic wearing them. They don't make my short legs look stumpy and they fit my pretty large behind.
I don't mind the thick waistband. I consider it to be a two-toned short. It makes the derriere look slimmer with the waist band reaching a bit lower. Also, the zipper part is really cute. It doesn't hold your cell phone, yes, but it does hold your essentials for running (keys, cards, and ID). I'm an admirer! Please release more colors!!

Rated 3 out of 5 by SiberianCat Only buy if you fit certain weird size criteria.
I'm increasingly sure that I was sized wrong the last time I bought something in-store. Or these run small. Or my butt is big. I don't know anymore. I bought these in a 6 (allegedly my size) without trying them on because it was at an outdoor crossfit event and there was nowhere to try them on. Either way, I wouldn't mind so much that these were a bit snug in the waist if it weren't for the fact that the panty in these digs into my inner panty line whereas a 6 in the regular Run Times shorts do not, even when I wear a 6 in those. I have pretty skinny legs and not much of a butt for a crossfit girl, so only buy these if you're stick thin, or if you size up a lot. I wish I had had a way to try these on, because I would have sized up or not bought them at all if the size up fit poorly, which I think it probably would have.
