why we made this

Holding a pose with just one foot grounded can be tough, especially when we're sweating up a storm. We designed this natural rubber mat to help us get a grip when we're feeling shaky in Eagle pose. At 5mm thick, it provides us with cushioning when our legs can't hold us up any longer.

Great Mat I'm new to yoga, so I spent a lot of time doing research to find the perfect mat. I'm really happy with this mat. It's comfortable, cushiony, and nice and sticky. It does smell if you put your nose right up to it, but the smell fades over time. My only gripe is, at 5'10", I wish it were available in a wider and/or taller size. June 8, 2013
Durable non slip mat Although I like to feel the ground under my feet when I practice yoga, some poses on my knees hurt with a thin yoga mat. I just purchased this mat about two weeks ago and can't say enough good things about it. At first the mat does smell like rubber, but if you read the packaging it says to air out the mat for a couple days before using if the smell bothers you. It did not bother me at all, so I did not air it out and the mats smell seems to be disappearing. The non-slip grip is AMAZING, and it helps to get into different yoga poses with ease. I would highly recommend this yoga mat!!!! May 6, 2013
The best mat I ever had!!! I love this yoga mat so much. I am a Power Yoga teacher and use it for teaching and for my own practice. Love it because of extra cushioning and texture, the perfect grip - non-slippery! And so easy to clean with just a wet clothe. LOVE IT!! Looking forward for more colors and definitely will but it for my self and as a gift for my friends!!! April 9, 2013
not my favorite This mat smells! After class, my hands and feet smell of rubber! So disappointed - I trust Lululemon for quality, and I think there's an issue with this item. Plus it's really heavy -- when I ride my bike to class, I notice the extra weight. March 9, 2013
Pretty Good! So far liking this mat! I teach about 3 yoga classes a week and so far this mat is my fav! Really cushy for my back, and mine doesn't smell at all but I know some people have issues with that. A little slippery at times, but I'm hoping it gets better as I use it more. February 9, 2013
