Favorite Mat
I was having quite the Goldilocks situation with my mats. I sweat too much for a normal mat but I don't sweat enough to use a yogi toes towel on my mat. I needed a mat to take with me on all of my travels so I gave this one a try. I really love this mat. Regardless of how sweaty I get during class, I never slip and slide with this mat.
I have the black mat so I don't see the sweat spots like other people are experiencing. I feel like that problem is very color specific.
The one thing that I do notice is that this mat shows everything. If you drag your toes or if you walk on the mat with dirty feet, you will see it. Also, dried sweat is also very noticeable on this mat as well. As long as you wipe it down after every practice though, this really isn't a problem.

Great for campus
I carried this mat with me all around campus, it's so easy to walk/travel with!

Loving It
Bought this mat because I hated how my old one was too slippery for downdog. Read the review then decided to get it and WOW! It's been a month of excessive use it's still very grippy!
I use it mainly for vinyasa flow class.
I love how the look of it, it looks sleek, very nice colour (I have berry), yet it has a very good grip! Never slipped even once!
The only problem is that it's so sticky so it's kinda hard to keep the dust away. It catches the dust nicely too... But hey, it's easy to clean too! So I don't really mind :)

no lasting power
When I first purchased this mat a couple months ago I loved it. Like, really loved it. It was lightweight, super grippy during my usual power yoga class (where I tend to sweat a lot), and no need to carry a mat and a towel to class. After a couple classes I noticed the mat began to stretch out during such poses as warrior I and II, and triangle. This wasn't a big deal until today when we moved into triangle pose. I attempted to adjust my stance and the mat literally SLID across the studio floor. The teacher came over and flipped the mat over. The result - it stuck better to the floor but was so slippery that I slid around in down dog and didn't even attempt the wide legged forward bend. This mat is becoming both embarrassing and frankly, dangerous. Seriously disappointed.

Great for travel
I wish I'd bought the normal version of this mat now, but I've been using this with an old Lululemon align mat if practicing on hard surfaces, or alone on carpet. I bought it for a yoga retreat overseas, but since I was practicing a few hours a day, it wasn't worth the sore knees/wrists from a thin mat - so I brought both (still much lighter than my everyday black Manduka style mat).
Cons:
sometimes a little squeaky
can stretch a bit in wide legged postures as it is so thin
OK for carpet but maybe too thin for hard floors if practicing Ashtanga
Pros:
ultra sticky, even more than my Manduka
Shiny surface allows for smooth jump throughs in Ashtanga yoga
Yogitoes towel sticks perfectly to it
Can be folded into a neat rectangle, or rolled
Light!
The rubbery smell disappears after airing out. I have recommended the regular version of this mat to friends to get in preference to a black/Manduka style mat

barely there, and i like it
I leave "the mat" at my local studio and my second-best mat where I teach. I needed something for quick at-home practices and travel, and also something that I could easily strap to my backpack or drop in my pannier bag for trips to studios across town. The "un mat" was everything I expected it to be-- incredibly light and packable with that gorgeous, space age, slip-proof feel of "the mat". The lack of padding forces me to modify my practice (fewer knee drops, less forearm balancing), but most studios have blankets to help with that. The mat doesn't look like it can take a beating, though, and it already looks like the edges are vulnerable to being warped if they catch onto things or you bump the side against any corners or table legs.

Great for travel!!
I bought this mat so that I can practice yoga for when I travel back to Mexico next summer for a couple of weeks to see friends. I need a mat that is lightweight, but still durable, and can fit in my suitcase. This mat is perfect to pack, and I can still practice yoga while I'm away with a great mat! Thanks Lulu for creating a mat for us who want to be able to practice while far away with a great, light mat :)

Good mat
I got this mat for travel with the intention of it being used on carpet. I love it so much that I now use it regularly on top of my other mat and use them together. It is so sticky, no fear of slipping. I'm not a fan of the thicker mats and I'm not keen on the material of the 3mm mat so this a great compromise. I let it air out by laying it flat for a week and the smell is gone.

Killer for bony limbs
Maybe it's just how I'm built, I don't know. I'm not one of those people who is OK with the amount of cushioning in this mat. If I use this mat for yoga it HAS to be on carpet/over another mat cushion. I did yoga over a hard floor with this mat once and the tops of my feet/knees paid the price.
That said, I like the grippy surface. I could see this mat being good if you travel and do yoga in hotel rooms. But everyday use? No.

Finally not slipping!
I really love this mat so far! I'm always slipping in both hot and non hot classes. Towel, no towel, doesn't matter. This mat is great, no slip and I'm not going anywhere! I got it in the coral pink colour, love it!
Yes there's a slight smell but it's really not bad and apparently goes away.
It's thin (so light!) but I honestly don't think I'll need more cushion unless it's a yin class.
