So, I don't necessarily use this towel for yoga, but instead I use it as a travel towel. It definitely does it's job! It will wick the water right off of your skin. I love it so much that I am going to buy The (Small) Towel just so I can take it to the gym to wipe my brow in between lifting sets (this one is just way to big for that sort of thing). Definitely recommend!

I've used this mat only 4 times thus far in hot and power classes and I can honestly say I have zero complaints! I read reviews prior to purchase, with the intention to most likely return it based on the complaints made in other reviews. I'm not sure how you could find issue with this product, most reviews stated it was "too slippery" or "it moved around and I spent the whole class adjusting it"....if you're focused in your practice, working hard to sweat it out, and not concerned with the odd wrinkle, it's absolutely adequate. Love this product! :)

I bought this towel to throw over The Mat for hot yoga class, and I like it but I sometimes get annoyed when it constantly moves. I wish there was something that would hold it to the mat so I wouldn't slip all over the place. Other than that, it does what it needs to do. It's soft and lightweight and soaks up all of my sweat. I don't have to worry about slipping with either the towel or the mat.

I'm disappointed in myself for holding off for this long to buy a towel from Lulu. My only exercise is hot yoga in which a mat towel is an essential piece in my practice.
I've purchased my towels from places like Winners where they are under $20 and though they weren't amazing, I learnt to put up with them because of the cheaper price.
My biggest complaint with my other towels were that I would slip and slide when I would get into the first downward dog of the class because the towel was dry and my hands were dry, I needed to almost get my hands wet in order to stay in place and during the warrior sequence my feet would tend to slide apart from each other.
Despite the mixed reviews for this towel, I decided to take the chance with the towel considering a super cute pattern came out. haha
I finally tried it last night in yoga and I was blown away at how nice it was. The texture on the top of the mat, though still soft was extremely gripping for my hands for my first downward pose. I felt like I could finally do a full extension of pushing my hands and feet away from each other without slipping and almost falling on my face.
My next usual issue is the towel would sometimes wrinkle and bunch up with small movements and I would have to constantly readjust it or flatten out the wrinkles and folds due to the lightness of the towel.
I noticed the Lulu towel is almost of a crisp material under the soft layer, the best way I can explain it, which in my opinion helps keep the towel more in place without wrinkling with such ease. Not sure if that makes sense.
By the time my class was almost over and I had sweated buckets onto it, I couldn't help but feel so cozy on the towel. Though it is the thinnest towel I own it gave such cushion and comfort underneath me, I felt secure in my poses and overall loved the absorbent qualities for sweat. I also love the size, large enough to give you space but nothing overwhelming. Yes the towel isn't perfect, perhaps it wrinkled once or I slide a tiny bit, but to be expected, its a huge step up beyond any towel I've ever used, completely worth the money.
The patterns are now a bonus in which my mat stands out among the rest =)
I'll be only buying these towels for now on, bring on the fun patterns! =)

I bought two of these towels for hot yoga. You have to constantly adjust during class. For the price and the hassel, I would not recommend purchasing.

Overall I thing it's great it's soft, and the pattern's nice. The only thing I don't like is that it shifts frequently. I kind of wish that it was longer so I could put the ends underneath the mat so it wouldn't shift as much. Other than that from the past month of using it I have no complaints.

I'm a little torn on this product. Bought it to do hot power Vinyasa yoga and go over top of a cheap home outfitters mat I purchased years ago. While the mat I was using was unbearable and way too slippery for hot yoga, this towel has helped and made my practice a lot safer over the last 4 months. But, it's not perfect! I am always sure to spray the towel where my hands and feet go before practice but I still find that the towel itself does not stay put throughout class, and since I do power yoga it can turn into a wrinkled mess, or I end up distracted and fix it all class. I also find that near the end of an hour long class when the parts of the towel that I had sprayed begin to dry it's extremely slippery, maybe because the fabric itself is too soft?! With that said though, the towel does dry very quickly which is great for washing. Overall not a bad product and was a quick fix for my poor quality mat, but I think that next time I will splurge on a Jade mat so that I don't need a towel at all, too much to carry and too much temptation to fidget during class! But it does the trick for now until I can save up for my next mat and probably will use the towel occasionally even after that.

Great product! I used it today (after washing once in wool-lite and drying WITHOUT fabric softener) in a 1.5 hour heated power Vinyasa. I loved it. This towel works great in combination with The Mat. It sticks to The Mat very well even without me having to wet the surface. My hands never even slid on this thing! Just the tiniest bit of sweat on your hands is all you need and you will have a solid Down Dog. I also noticed that it has minimal bunching and wrinkling when on The Mat. I will be buying another one when I see a color I like.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Nicole709 Change isn't always bad, but isn't always good.
Before this week the last "the towel" I purchased was about a year or so ago.
The material have drastically changed.
It isn't bad, it isn't great. It's just different although theyre a bit more durable it seems. (For the short run anyway)
Firmer than the old ones, but still as soft. I'm ok with it but others may not...

I made the mistake of buying two of these (in sea mist and orange). They are quite attractive and lightweight so they're easy to throw in my bag. Sadly, I find that I cannot use them anymore. I use them in hot yoga classes to go over The Mat. For the entire class I find myself readjusting it. When I rise into warrior 1 and 2 position it slides and it's difficult to find the pose. Even stepping from downward facing dog to forward fold causes it to move around on my mat. This is challenging because a) the wrinkles are annoying and make me slip around b) I can't keep the entire mat covered during class c) I'm too busy fussing over this towel to focus on my practice. This part isn't a huge deal but because it's a chamois towel, it doesn't absorb the sweat that falls unto my mat. Therefore, after practice my mat is still pretty sweaty. Again, not a huge deal but sort of an inconvenience. I've been a Lululemon supporter for years and I usually love their products. This however, has been a great disappointment. I'm very upset that I bought two of these and cannot use either.
