On the fence
I'm a little torn on this product. Bought it to do hot power Vinyasa yoga and go over top of a cheap home outfitters mat I purchased years ago. While the mat I was using was unbearable and way too slippery for hot yoga, this towel has helped and made my practice a lot safer over the last 4 months. But, it's not perfect! I am always sure to spray the towel where my hands and feet go before practice but I still find that the towel itself does not stay put throughout class, and since I do power yoga it can turn into a wrinkled mess, or I end up distracted and fix it all class. I also find that near the end of an hour long class when the parts of the towel that I had sprayed begin to dry it's extremely slippery, maybe because the fabric itself is too soft?! With that said though, the towel does dry very quickly which is great for washing. Overall not a bad product and was a quick fix for my poor quality mat, but I think that next time I will splurge on a Jade mat so that I don't need a towel at all, too much to carry and too much temptation to fidget during class! But it does the trick for now until I can save up for my next mat and probably will use the towel occasionally even after that.

Love @ first downward dog
Great product! I used it today (after washing once in wool-lite and drying WITHOUT fabric softener) in a 1.5 hour heated power Vinyasa. I loved it. This towel works great in combination with The Mat. It sticks to The Mat very well even without me having to wet the surface. My hands never even slid on this thing! Just the tiniest bit of sweat on your hands is all you need and you will have a solid Down Dog. I also noticed that it has minimal bunching and wrinkling when on The Mat. I will be buying another one when I see a color I like.

Change isn't always bad, but isn't always good.
Before this week the last "the towel" I purchased was about a year or so ago.
The material have drastically changed.
It isn't bad, it isn't great. It's just different although theyre a bit more durable it seems. (For the short run anyway)
Firmer than the old ones, but still as soft. I'm ok with it but others may not...

I made the mistake of buying two of these (in sea mist and orange). They are quite attractive and lightweight so they're easy to throw in my bag. Sadly, I find that I cannot use them anymore. I use them in hot yoga classes to go over The Mat. For the entire class I find myself readjusting it. When I rise into warrior 1 and 2 position it slides and it's difficult to find the pose. Even stepping from downward facing dog to forward fold causes it to move around on my mat. This is challenging because a) the wrinkles are annoying and make me slip around b) I can't keep the entire mat covered during class c) I'm too busy fussing over this towel to focus on my practice. This part isn't a huge deal but because it's a chamois towel, it doesn't absorb the sweat that falls unto my mat. Therefore, after practice my mat is still pretty sweaty. Again, not a huge deal but sort of an inconvenience. I've been a Lululemon supporter for years and I usually love their products. This however, has been a great disappointment. I'm very upset that I bought two of these and cannot use either.

Slips & Slides
I love Lululemon products so I was disappointed to discover how unbearable these towels were during Bikram class. I purchased two towels and tried them out for two weeks. Both were very soft and absorbent; however, I had to constantly reposition them during class, which was quite embarrassing for me. I even tried spraying the towels with peppermint oil prior to class and they still didn't perform to my standards. When I returned the items for store credit, the sales associate recommended Yogitoes towels instead. I'm definitely going to try Yogitoes and hopefully have a better experience with them.

I bought this towel for my hot yoga classes because its so light weighed and the color is nice. However, after three uses I had to return it for a store credit, its just way to slippery and cannot be used at all. I also bought the small one, which seems better and absorb the sweat better but its also slippery if i use it on the MAT, I tried it for downward dog, it didn't work.

I only own 3 or 4...
I spend A LOT of time in the water sometimes up to 4 times a day and then 3 days in a row. These are definately the best way to dry. I can use them 3-4 times to get me dry and usually after hanging them out overnight they are dry in the morning.
These are also great for soaking up the sweat in gym classes and hot yoga.

I use this towel over my lulu mat while in my Bikram class. It pretty much locks in place, no slipping or pulling and tugging it over the mat during class. It soaks up my absurd amounts of sweat. Obviously some gets down into the matt but I feel like it improves the grip even further. Will definitely buy in more colors. I received the mint and it is easy on the eyes.

I bought my first Lulu towel two weeks ago. So good! I really like the material of this towel vs. some of the other bulkier, more terrycloth-like towels that are out there. Yes, it is slippery when dry, so I just fold it down where I place my hands and feet in down dog until I start to work up a sweat. Or just sprinkle a little water on it before I get flowin' to prevent slide. Its great. I plan on getting another.

I bought this towel at the recommendation of one of the sales associates because my yoga mat (which I also bought at lulu) has stains that I have been unsuccessful removing. The towel is terrible. I have always loved every purchase I have made in the store. Recently, I even got my husband hooked on the clothes but this towel is an epic fail. My hands slide and the towel moves easily.
