Love it!
I am writing this review for my mom. She has been searching for a non-snowman like winter coat forever. This is perfect. It is thin but also warm. She also has a long drive to work and this coat is very comfortable. The color is also amazing!!

So disappointed
I tried this coat on at my local Lulu store back in February in the polar cream colour. It was fabulous. I was sweating in the store trying it on because it was so warm and cozy. It was thin, but with a nice puff to it and very form fitting. I wanted it in the love red colour, but they were sold out. I waited patiently until it went to the "we made to much" section and then ordered it online right away.
The coat I received was nothing like the one in the store. This one was totally flat. No puff. I wore it one afternoon on a mild winter day (Ottawa, Ontario) and FROZE. When you rub your fingers together over the fabric all it contained was the outer shell fabric. There was no feathers in it. I held it up to the light and you could see a couple of feathers sporadically placed.
I called Lulu and they agreed to a return marking it as "defective" and sent me a gift card in return.
I really wanted this coat and so disappointed the quality of mine sucked. I won't risk ordering again online... Guess I'll have to wait until next winter and try and find something else in store. Very disappointed.

Sexy and highly functional jacket, indeed!
Read some of the earlier reviews and it seems like we?re talking about different jackets, made by different brands/manufacturers?
My jacket is exactly what it?s supposed to be: highly functional, very comfy, extremely light, and offers outstanding ease of movement.
All zippers work smoothly, and the materials are splendid, indeed. The color is sexy orangey-red. When zipped up, the jacket screams, ?Look at this fabulous body that I?m hugging!?
I tested the jacket with a fast-paced walk (6.4 km/h = 4 mph) at 1 C (34 F), with strong, persistent north wind, and some flurries to top it all off. I was much warmer than I have ever been with the heavy Land?s End parka which was supposed to withstand -28 C (-20 F).
There are some that complain about how thin this jacket is? I say, it better be! It is wind-and-water-proof, and it contains just the right amount of dawn to keep me warm without overheating me. After all, it is meant for running, fast-paced walking, and such. A minute or two in the activity, and your blood would be boiling if you?re wearing a puffer jacket.
Once again, awesome and highly recommended product!
For reference: I?m 159 cm (5?2?) and 51 kg (112.5 lb). Size 4 fits like a glove.

Amazing Jacket
There are so many reviews of this jacket on here. I hope my review will be of help to someone...
I bought this jacket in red online a couple of months ago. It's a beautiful jacket that I ALWAYS get compliments on when I wear it out. And, I wear it alot in Chicago when I work out and just around the city.
First things first...it's 800 fill, thin, body skimming and downright girly. I'm 5'3", 180lbs and bought a size 10. I'm usually a 10 in lulu clothes, but this does run a bit big - a size 8 would have been perfect.
I use this jacket for winter running. I layered with two of the lulu moisture wicking shirts and was HOT. What I've learned about this jacket is that it's incredibly warm when you are active and moving.
It's not so warm when you just put it on for a trip to the grocery store.
I've never had any issues with the zippers or anything with the jacket. It's been a great addition to my lulu collection.

In my opinion...
Hello fellow lulu lovers, I'm writing in defense of this jacket:) I may kick myself later as I have not had a chance to wear this yet as its still our NZ summer and I had a friend bring this back from the US for me BUT I love it. Yes I read the reviews re zippers etc and actually that is my biggest concern is that when I start wearing it the zippers may not hold up BUT in my experience lulu down under is always brillient at taking care of any faulty items.
Sooo I paid full price, couldnt wait any longer for it to hit WMTM. I think its a fair price as most puffer jackets are round $300-400 NZ. I love the colour I purchased in, Love Red. It is gorgeous, I dont normally do red but purchased alot of Love Red stuff. It does look thin BUT thats the beauty of goosedown. Its warmer and compacts better so I have no issue with that. Its definitely a TTS not a size up item. I got the 4 which I am is every jacket I own from lulu.
It is well designed and thought out. I plan to use mine for biking to and from in the cooler months as well as for casual wear. The colour will be easy to see. I like the venting and rulu under the arms so your body can breath when biking or working out. The hood is a bonus, yes its a bit fiddly to arrange but think of it like an additional piece. Its like a scarf for extra warmth and they always need to be worked into place. I like that you can take it off easily. I like the pulldown skirt that will be very handy for keeping a cool breeze from creeping up my back when I'm leaning over biking.
The fit is fantastic. Body skimming and unlike many puffers it look AMAZING on and very flattering. I have another lulu puffer in black and the fit on that is gorgeous too.
So I would like to say, good job lulu. And ladies grab one while its in WMTM. I'm hoping once I start wearing it it will perform as promised.
I also brought the what the fluff vest in clarity yellow and that is a fantastic performer so far.
Pull the trigger if your on the fence girls. Thats a good price for a puffer on sale:)

good coat but big
I waited until this went on sale and got the red, which I love, even though it's really pretty orangey. I haven't had the quality issues some people have had with the zipper, etc., but I usually order one size up in coats so I can layer underneath. I should have just ordered my usual size--it's pretty big. Not return big, just would have been better. For reference, I wear pretty much a 6 in all lulu clothes (5'5", 125) but size up to an 8 in coats.

Horrible!
I ordered this jacket online in hope that it would be a great winter coat for Edmonton weather. Every year I purchase a winter coat from Lulu and I am always satisfied with how warm and stylish they are. This one does not look as warm as it does in the pictures, and looks very cheap. My scuba jackets are warmer than this!! I don't know when or if I will ever wear it, lets just say it was a huge waist of money, and I will no longer be purchasing winter coats from Lulu. Its currently -10 and I went outside briefly and was freezing in such a short time. Do not order this jacket if you are an Albertan!

Not Worth It!
I bought this jacket in red. I love the color and design. However, the quality is not very good for the high price. There's hardly any "Fluff" in it. On the photos it looks a bit puffy the one I received is flat and not fluffy at all. The hood and vest piece have a nice design but the fleece they used looks cheap and faded. Rip-off! The hood should be lined. I hope they keep the design and make it with higher quality fabrics.

side seams open when arrived - 5 times!
I love the fit of this jacket quality not so much! I ordered this jacket four different times and each time it came with different areas of the side seems being open/defective. I paid return shipping each time and loving the jacket fit and style kept trying. One time the item tag was on the hood (not the normal spot) so I know someone else returned it lulu reattached the tag and sold it again. Why would you not be inspecting defective returns before reselling? I am now on the fifth one that came without any issues at least upon arrival. and crossing my fingers. As a lulu lover (not as much since Chip left) the quality has gone WAY WAY down hill. Buyer beware on this item.

Flattering and practical jacket
I was fortunate enough to get this jacket in black on sale at my local Lululemon store. I've worn it for running and cross country skiing at -10 celsius and it was definitely warm enough. You have to be moving at that temperature to stay warm in this jacket however at higher temps the jacket is perfect even for walking. I also like the way the neck can be zipped up high to protect your neck and face.
The polar cream was beautiful however they didn't have my size. I am 5'7" and 130 lbs, narrow hips and a bit busty. I normally wear a 6-8 in lulu tops. I bought the size 6 and it fits like a glove. I love the nipped in waist - makes me look curvy and I'm definitely not!
This is a great jacket for outdoor winter sports and pretty enough to wear casually in warmer winter weather.
