St Moritz Sweater 3.1 5 31 31
Cozy and casual. I love this sweater! I bought both colors but contemplated for a long time due to reviews. I didn't want to be disappointed. I decided to just go for it. I bought it in my regular lulu size 4. It is a shorter style sweater which I knew from reviews but I wear a long tank under and it is cute. It reaches my hips so it's not like your belly button is showing. It is not as boxy as reviews seemed. It's very cute with a straight cut. Not tight but not baggy. My daughter who is bigger busted unlike me looked great in it too. I washed both of them in cold water and hung dry and no problems with pilling. It looked great. I am so glad I bought these sweaters. They are warm and cozy and I cannot wear wool due to the itchiness but I had no problem with the fabric. If you like this sweater go for it. It is a great way to casual up lulu style! Love them! March 3, 2013
Shrunk - bad to wash Loved this sweater. Wore it and then washed it and it shrunk from a 6 to a size 2. There are not great care instructions and I am very disappointed in this purchase and the shrinkage. March 2, 2013
Cozy Sweater I've been stalking this sweater since it first came out but hesitated because of the price. By the time it moved to WMTM I was leery to try it, based on the negative reviews, but decided to go for it. Well, I'm happy to say that this sweater has been a great purchase! I love how soft and cozy it feels and when I throw it on over my workout clothes I feel put together and not slobbish. I have now washed the sweater twice with no problems. I did wash it in a delicates bag using the Wool setting on my machine and used The Laundress Wool/Cashmere laundry soap, which I highly recommend for sweaters. I then dried the sweater flat on top of my washing machine and there was no shrinkage of any kind. I will say that the wool on the front of the sweater has pilled slightly but I think most sweaters with this type of cable knit have the tendency to do that. While I normally wear a 6 in all Lulu tops I elected to go up to an 8 based on the reviews of the sweater being short and I'm very happy I did--I wouldn't want it any shorter. For reference, I am 5'4" and 113 lbs. Overall, I am so happy with this sweater that I came back today to order the off-white version of it! February 28, 2013
Beautifully soft sweater! I was a bit wary after reading all of the reviews, but I decided to order the sweater anyway. I'm usually a size '2' and I ordered a size '4'- it fits perfectly! It isn't super fitted on me but it's slim so that's fine by me. I would definitely order a size up, a lulu 4 has never fit me before. It looks and feels beautiful and I haven't had any of the issues in the reviews (ahem... yet, crossing fingers). February 22, 2013
In defense of this sweater I am quite happy with this purchase. The material seems of decent quality and it is really a beautiful piece. I have been very attentive to all the reviews and decided to go a size up (normally 8, got 10). I am tall 5'11" and was worried it would be too short, but it turned out to be just the right length, however it is really big. I should have stayed with my normal size - 8. The sweater is 100% wool, it clearly says it on the tag inside. So, just like any wool sweater it requires gentle care. I washed it right away and wanted to "shrink" it on purpose as it looked too big on me. I washed it on gentle cycle, in warm water, and put it in the dryer on medium low heat. It didn't shrink it. So I cranked the heat up a notch and voila - it is size 8 now ))). What I learned - get it the normal size you wear in lulu BUT really be gentle with it when washing and it will keep its shape (luke warm water, gentle cycle and very low heat in the dryer). I tried and failed.... I loved this sweater! Wore several times and received tons of compliments each time. Comfy, cute, easy. Then I went to wash it...well Lulu doesn't have tags. I questioned the wool front, considered dry cleaning but then rationalized it was a Lululemon piece and should not need dry cleaning. So I washed it (like all my other Lululemon pieces) on delicate, cold and line dried. The cute front wool part is now tight and bunched up and about 1 inch shorter than the front. I can no longer wear it. It completely ruined my day. I'm so frustrated and annoyed. There should be better care instructions if this is what's going to happen to a pricey item. February 7, 2013
This sweater is very cute & comfy. Quality seems good so far. I have not washed it yet but worn it a couple times and no pealing like some of the other reviews stated. February 4, 2013
sweater I bought this sweater in my usual Lululemon 6. It was too small, and after I hand washed it, it shrunk. I was so dissapointed because I loved it. February 4, 2013
Gee, I like it...thinking of getting 2 This is my favorite sweater so far. I think I've washed it with no problem. I am only 5'2" so no shortness issues with the sweater. I like the combo of materials and don't find it itchy at all. I always try on before ordering on-line. I'm more often a 6 butI tend to like roomy. I am thinking of ordering a second one. I wear it to work all the time. February 2, 2013
I'm 105lb and 5'1" I ususally wear a 2 or 4...I order a 4 due to other reivew. It is SNUGG! But no big deal...I'll give it to my daghter after my first wear. After I washed it...it got smaller....I hand wash it in cold water and line dry it naturally. Also the knitting part start balling here and there already. I wasn't expecting this to happen to a Lululemon product...not for this price anyway. Can I bring it to the store and show them what happen for a replacement? I heard Lululemon return and exchage policy are strict :( Just wanted for the sweater to last a few more wear...at leas to the end o col season! I bought this in January...it has been more than 2 weeks though. January 29, 2013
