cozy - worked for me I picked up two of these turtlenecks in a size 8. Tried on the 6 and it was just too tight in the bust. I'm usually a 6 or 8 in Lululemon tops, depending on how much room is in the chest. I recall the neck being pretty tight when I first tried the 6 on in the fitting room. There was some resistance getting it over my head, but once it was on I was fine. I didn't find it restrictive or too tight. I actually prefer a more snug fit to the neck (for warmth) rather than one that is loose. I find the fabric warm and pretty cozy. I almost wished I had got the other colours. I recommend trying this on as fit can vary based on what everyone else is saying. January 27, 2013
literally_choked Bought this in my usual top size 4. I've read other reviews on how tight the neck was but thought I'm particularly petite with small body frame so perhaps I could get away with it. But oh no! The neckline was so tight I almost could literally choke while wearing it. I was in church to be specific so I can't just get out when I wanted so what I did was literally tug the neckline for almost an hour to allow some breathing room for myself. Terrible, terrible experience from a shirt. The shirt was alright but the neckline is very difficult to forgive. Bad mistake on my part buying it! January 24, 2013
Warm Turtleneck I agree with other ratings, it is a bit itchy but not terrible. Otherwise it is very comfy & warm! January 23, 2013
Ill Fitting I'm petite, 5'2" and 103lbs. Based on previous reviews, I order a size up and it's huge (my usual size is a 4, I ordered a 6). Like other reviewers also commented, the neck is pretty tight. January 17, 2013
Funny Fit I am unfortunately not happy with this purchase at all.....I read the reviews and ordered a size up. Neck is very tight so I think that was the right move. I am normally an 8 and ordered a 10. Only problem is the rest of the top is extremely ill fitting....Bodyof the garment looks way big and is too long for me....I am tall already (5'8) but I am swimming in this.....I would think carefully about the sizing as it is really kind ofhis item is wonky and had I seen the fit, I would have not ordered.....This is a final sale item so I guess I am stuck! Still debating purchase They had this in the 4 in my local store; I'm usually a 4 top so I tried it on thinking it would be great for skiing or even hanging around when the weather gets cold. For an item described in the tech specs as fit: loose, it was not loose. I didn't trust the 4 to maintain its integrity given how snug it was, particularly in the shoulder area and the neck. I'm tall but thin (5'7, ~125lbs), with a small bust and small head so I rarely go up a size for tops and I've been a pretty consistent 2 or 4 in Lulu tops previously. Since only a size 6 is left online, I'm not sure whether that will give me enough room to feel comfortable, particularly doing active sports, since there wasn't a ton of give in the fabric. I'd probably order it in a minute if they had an 8, so now I'm left debating the purchase. January 14, 2013
Perfect for the Rockies I'm a Canadian skier, and winter in the mountains can get pretty cold... I love merino wool as a layering piece. I got this shirt for Christmas in blue with black sleeves and love it. The fit is great. I love the length of the shirt which helps me layer more effectively. I usually use merino wool as a base layer. The thumb holes in the sleeves are perfect because I can wear my gloves without all my layers slipping, but can also eat lunch without my hands getting cold. January 12, 2013
I'm glad I chanced it and ordered one of these at the sale price. I'm also glad I listened to the reviews that said to size up. I'm 5'6", 135 lbs, 34B and am usually between a Lulu 6 or 8. This time I went with the 8 and found it's fitted but not so tight it makes me feel uncomfortable. I'm pretty sure the 6 would have been skintight around my tummy, which is my problem area. I did notice it stretched out a bit as the day went on but not so much it looked sloppy. I love that it's a wool shirt that can be machine washed, isn't too itchy, and keeps me warm and toasty without any bulk. January 9, 2013

great product I wore just this under the what the fluff jacket in sub zero temps and dumping snow and the only thing cold was my face.it is not itchy at all.I did size up and when i washed it the neck did become a little tighter but I sretched it out and then went for a run in it with ust a wind jacket on top.again the temp was very cold and i was toasty.it wicked the sweat away and didn't feel damp. also i wore it snowboarding and it kept my toasty on the long chairlifts and warm until my day was over.I only wore this and my snowboarding jacket. It is a great piece.I have it in red and just ordered the black too. Just wash on cold an hang to dry:0) January 4, 2013
