Run: Runder Under Pant
- Final Sale

The running version of our classic Wunder Unders (we went for it).

why we made this

We wear our Wunder Unders for everything, so we decided it was time to design a run pant just as classic. We made the Runder Under out of soft, inherently wicking fabrics and added a drawcord so we can adjust them for the perfect fit. We placed reflective piping inside the ankle so if we get stuck out past dark we can flip up our hem and head home.

key features

  • flip up the cuffs for reflectivity in low-light conditions
  • the gusset is engineered to give your lady business freedom to be
  • smooth, wide waistband - the only muffin you should have is for breakfast
  • stow fuel in the two gel pockets tucked into the waistband
  • tighten the continuous drawcord in the waistband for a proper fit
  • flat seams help keep irritating chafe in check
  • choose your own adventure - some colourways have fabric-blocking on the inside for reversability

tech specs

  • designed for: run
  • fabric(s): Rulu™
  • properties: four-way stretch, moisture-wicking, chafe-resistant, breathable, flat-seamed
  • rise: medium

Run: Runder Under Pant 3.9 5 129 129
Perfect pants These pants are amazing. I got them from the WMTM section in the polar haze stripe. It's not something I would normally go for but I decided to go outside my comfort zone and I am so glad I did. They are SO SO soft. I put them on as soon as I got them in the mail and haven't taken them off yet. It is still a bit chili here in Alaska to run in them outside so I won't know how they fare in that aspect for a month or two. I will definitely be wearing them to my yoga class though. I am not sure what exactly the difference is between these and the regular Wunder Unders but I may be ordering a pair of those once Lulu gets their quality issues worked out. Please make a solid or heathered dark gray!!! I bent, twisted and down dogged in front of the mirror (and my husband) to test for sheerness issues...not a problem in these! They are not sheer at all. I am 5'8, 122 and ordered my normal size 4. April 4, 2013
do you want to show everyone your thong? buy these I bought these runder unders because I am in love with the first pair that I bought a few months ago. The previous pair fit like a glove without pinching, were crazy soft, and looked awesome on me. Unfortunately when I got the new pair in the mail today I tried them on, modeled them for my man, and realized that they are completely see through in the back! I am 5'4" and 115lbs and bought a size 4 both times. They are not too tight and are not being stretched to their capacity by any means by my junk in the trunk. The clear view of my backside is due to the fabric being see through. You could see the color of my thong! I don't know why the quality plummeted so hard but please bring back the old runders! They were amazing! Also, these pants are way too expensive to be showing off my intimates :( April 3, 2013
Fantastic tights, comfortable and cozy I am not into color blocking, so I got them in black reversible to heathered gray. And the moment I put them on and I didn't want to take them off. I went online and ordered a second pair in solid black and when they went on MD, ordered a third pair again in solid black. Now I have three and I couldn't be happier. They filled the gap left by WUP's that I couldn't purchase because of issues with the Luon being too thin. The Runder Under pant is designed for running, but I workout in the gym and do yoga in them too. I also wear them out and about as leggings with boots. As someone said, they are not really winter tights, more like spring and early fall. My legs got cold when I ran in these this winter. The Run Ice Queen 7/8 and Run Toasty Tech performed much better in winter temperatures, and their fit with a wide and high waistband is awesome. Still, I'm very satisfied with my three pairs of black Runder Under Pants. Found them TTS and glad they have no zippered pocket on the back of the waistband as most running tights do, so I can wear them for other activities too. Lululemon please make more, in solid but reversible colors, such as indigo, camo green, charcoal, deep purple, black swan, etc. Without color blocking or stripes. March 31, 2013
Runder under pants soooo comfortable! I own soooo many lululemon pants and I have to say these are definitely one of my favorites. They are so comfortable and look great on. I wear these when I'm working out legs, on the weights, at the gym. I do dead lifts where I squat really low, leg presses and regular squats. Hands down, the Runder Unders are my choice of pant to use doing my leg workout. The wide band is so comfortable and the Rule fabric moves and feels great. I've owned my pair for quite some time now. They wash well. I washed them in cold water, no fabric softner and no dryer as recommended, they still look great. Love this line, hope lululemon keeps offering it. Rulu awesome fabric!! They're ok I spent some time considering which pant to buy because I needed a running pant that could stand up to Vancouver weather. I was assured by the sales person that the pants were great for colder runs as she had a pair she loved. Overall, I would not buy another pair of these pants because of the negatives I pointed out. On the positive they are nice looking. They will make a good spring running pant as they really aren't warm enough for days that are around 5 degrees or cooler. If you are a warm person though, you might have better luck with these pants (I am always cold). I really want to love them but they could be better. March 19, 2013
Love, Love, Love these Pants! I wish LLL would make more of these pants!! They are perfect for the runner that wants to run in her WUs!!! I bought a pair of the inkwell/light flares and wore them for every morning run in the month of February. Loved them so much that I bought a second pair in the black/classic stripe pattern. I found the inkwell pair to be much more flattering to my body type, but I do love both pairs! One small complaint, there is a bit of piling occurring on the front thigh of the pant. I doubt this is rubbing from another fabric as some other users experienced, since there is really nothing for it to rub against. I think it's just plain wear and tear. Granted, I do wear them every morning I run, I just thought they might last longer than a couple months. March 19, 2013
Love love love Dummy me signed up for a spring half marathon only to realize I would need to train in January and February. Brrrr. Enter the runder under - the perfect solution to the 30 degree run. I definitely have a bit of a tummy and love the higher rise which holds everything in without binding (please please make them in a crop too!). I have washed them about a dozen times (line dry) and so far so good. I'm 5'7", 140# and wear size 6. March 10, 2013
In the process of sending them back I purchased the violet / black ones in November and wore them about a dozen times until I noticed a tear in the seam of the crotch. It's a minor seam issue, but when you spend $100 for a pair of pants you shouldn't have to do any sewing on them! I take excellent care of my Lululemon items (I sell them on eBay when I want new stuff). This kind of thing is unacceptable. Where is this stuff made? March 9, 2013
Major pilling!! I purchased the charcoal love red black pair in the fall. I have owned them for less than 6 months. I give them 2 stars because I love the style and they are super comfortable. I don't typically run outside in colder than 40 degrees so these have been perfect for me when running in temps in the low 40s. The charcoal love red side is in great condition however the black side is HORRIBLE. Tons of pilling. It's embarrassing to wear them out and about. They look ragged and old. The waist line that appears to be Luon is in fine condition but the soft rulu is a mess. So disappointing because I also love the fit. March 7, 2013
Amazing I am fairly new to lulu, just started buying in 11/12. That being said, I have purchased quite a few items in the last few months. These are my FAVORITE! They are so cozy, I could run for hours in them. They fit very true to size. I wear them at least once a week if not 2 or 3 times when I go out for a run. Unlike some of the other reviewers I have not had any issues with pilling, I have the red love/coal version from winter which may have something to do with that. I would LOVE to see them in a cropped version for spring. March 7, 2013
