Run: First Base Tank
Soft but thin
I have two First base tanks and while both are buttery soft, one is so thin I can see my skin through it if I push lightly. Still a fine layering tank, and the thin one was purchased on WMTM, so I can't complain. If you're going to ask for $60 for a tank though, it should be a little more substantial I think. A recommend buy only on markdown.

I love the cottony feel of this fabric. The fit is very flattering. I actually bought two--one in my regular size and one a size up. Since it feels cottony and skims rather than clings, both fitted and slightly loose look great (it's what they had in stock in the store, and I liked it too much to walk away with just one). This is the lulu I remember.

I bought this tank in the cliff hanger stripe heathered slate toothpaste horizontal/hyper stripe heathered slate toothpaste, and it's very flattering. The slight sweetheart detail is very pretty, especially on busty girls. And the fabric is very soft. I liked this tank so much I planned on getting another colour, but the stripes and colours would not be as flattering. They are too busy

Bought this as an alternative to CRB. It somehow don't fit as well as CRB. For the price, I would rather invest in another CRB.

watch the stripe placement
I wanted this tank so bad I called ahead and placed it on hold. I purchased it, and when I got home, I noticed the stripes weren't even. Theres purple, then only about one cm of grey by the top seam, and then purple. It looks awful! The stripes don't look as good as the online photo, I feel completely deceived and now I can't even return it!!

Love it !
I just bought the white and grey hyper stripe and I absolutely adore it. I have tons of lulu tanks and this is by far my favorite. I want to buy it in all the colors! :) I paired it with luxtreme high/lows in toothpaste color. For reference I'm 5'8 and 160 lbs and wear a size 6-8 top and got this one in an 8 and fits beautifully.

Not what they used to be
These new colors are fantastic but compared to my old FB's they aren't the same. They aren't as elastic, soft or comfy. They used to be lined with a beautiful lace inside that was heaven to wear as well. I'm sad that they have changed and not for the better. And they're thinner in general. Pretty disappointed when I got my new one home and compared. Fit is same old same old.

Wow, Wonderfully Soft!
This is a great tank. I have traditionally gone for the thin racerback tanks in the past, but this is so flattering! Can't say enough for the softness and comfort of the fabric.
The cut is very flattering and the different cut from the thin racerbacks is a nice change, too.
I took my usual size 6 in this.
Looking forward to more colors in this tank!

This tank is perfect. I am a bit busty and not a fan of showing off my goods to the world, in general, but especially in the gym. This tank is one of the only athletic tanks I have found that provides enough coverage to make me feel comfortable. It fits TTS and is very flattering, in my opinion. The material is so velvety soft, and the fit is wonderful. I love the cut and the fact that it's not the traditional racerback tank that's often seen.
ALSO, I must add, that this shirt is incredibly cute. I would for sure wear it out of the house as just a cute top. I bought it in the hyper stripe heathered slate ghost pattern, and I am in love.

My New Favorite!!
This tank is my new favorite for a couple of reasons... the fabric and the fit. This fabric is so soft and velvety against your skin it just feels amazing! It seems more like Rulu "Ultra" Light. I have the new Henley that's referred to as Rulu Light and this tank feels a bit thinner than that.
CRB's just don't fit me well because the straps are always too long but this tank was perfect in strap length and overall length. I don't usually care for hems that cut up on the sides but this one is subtle and it's actually very flattering.
For reference I'm 5'4", 120lbs, 32C and purchased this tank in a 6 (I usually buy a 4 in CRB's).
