Pump It Up Pant
Finally, I scored a high waist LLL pant on sale!
I love everything about these pants. The high, compression waist and relaxed ankle length leg. The zipper pocket and the softness of the material. So psyched I scored them on sale too!

I Love, Love, LOVE the WIDE Waistband!!!!
The WIDE waistband is AMAZING! They are so comfortable to sit in because of the higher sides and back. I also love that they have a zippered pocket. I absolutely HATE the visible seams on the back, front, and sides; they are so unflattering. These pants are a nice change but I still prefer Wunder Unders because they make your legs and backside look incredibly SEXY because the seams are hidden which allows you (or others) to appreciate the natural roundness of the hips and butt from the front, back, and profile/side view. I wish Lululemon would stick with what works: Wunder Under styling- simple and seamless, but add a zippered back pocket (big enough to store a phone) for added convenience (like the Inspire crops); higher sides on the waistband like these or even the Astro pants; a larger selection of solid colors; more little Lulu reflectors; it would also be nice to see some made of THICK cotton like one of their competitor brands offers.

Good for short girls!
I was doubtful of the length when I purchased these, but the WMTM price was too hard to turn down. I got them today and it turns out they are the perfect length (I'm 5'1"). I also like the fabric; these feel more like compression/workout pants and are thicker than the other pants that Lulu has right now. In terms of sizing, I'm generally between sizes so I got the bigger one and have had no problems with the tightness of the waistband, I actually find it quite comfortable, like it's holding me in. I would definitely recommend for the sale price, but I don't know if I would have purchased these for full price.

saved my *ss and still look great!
I never write reviews but felt the need tell people that these pants are amazing. I tried on basically every style of lululemon pants in the store, and these were the most flattering on my body. My butt looks great, no muffin top or camel toe - which a few other styles gave me. Plus they are super comfy, well-made (some of the other pants were thin and see-through), and stylish.
I wore them to Pilates for the first time the morning after I bought them. On my vespa ride home I got in an accident and ended up scrapping the ground with the right side of my body pretty badly. My first thought when i fell was that I just ruined my new $100 gym pants. While still lying in the middle of the road, I did a quick inventory of my parts, and realized my pants were fine (not even a pull in the fabric). Meanwhile, the rest of my lower body (areas not covered by the pants) have severe road rash. These are quality pants that saved my skin. I'm so psyched I got these!

Not as I'd imagined
Looking at the picture of the waistband on the model, I envisioned a new twist on an "astro-type" waistband where it would be non-binding. In reality it is quite binding, creating lumps in the waist. The back looks nice with the seaming and the waistband is higher in the back. So I can wear these only with a shirt that hides the lumps! I had sized up to a 6. For reference I'm 110 lbs. I guess if you're very skinny with no tummy fat these would look like they do on the model.

Not for me!!!
I'm usually a size 6 in Lulu pants. And I'm 5'3" and 120 pounds. These fit true to size. I was really hoping to love these pants and their tapered look and shorter inseam. As with most tapered pants I was hoping for a lengthening and slimming look! The problem with these pants.....there was a seam right around the knee where it was extra tight so it bunched up right around my knee area. So unfortunately these pants have gone back. They would of been a 5 star if it wasn't for this seam. When I had them pulled down flat without any bunching they looked amazing! Lulu please make another pant like this...without all the seams.

Maybe for you, not for me
These have a few things going for them: not see through, extra coverage in the back that doesn't look goofy, it's a different cute style, and the legs were compressive without actually feeling compressive. These slid right on in my usual size--did the bend test with purple cotton underwear (not my usual seamless utra thin nudes) and it passed!!!! The **major** problem is that the high rise waist hits me weird in the font causing major muffin tops (yes, plural). If they would've kept the high rise from the back all the way to the front these would have been total winners, but that front waist notch just ruins it. If you have a very flat stomach/tight stomach these won't be a problem, but if you are slender with a touch of softness these WILL dig in. So yes, i would recommend these to some people but not others. For me these are going back.

Great, but quickly fell apart.
I loved these pants. Bought them and wore them to yoga a few times. After 3-5 wears one of the seams just completely unraveled in the middle of a yoga class. Before this happened, I was really happy with the pants. They have great compression and comfort, do not slip during yoga, and I would recommend them to friends. But be aware that the quality control issue is a big one. You may end up having to go through the difficulty of dealing with a return (as I am now).

Love the style but too compressive
The luxtreme fabric is so nice and the style is very cute - short length and not tight at the bottom. The problem with them is they're a wee bit too tight. I'm a size 8 in all Lulu pants, luon and luxtreme, but these seem too compressive. Size 10 is sold out so I can't exchange. For the price I think they're going back. As a comparison, the style reminds me of the "Running with my Hommies Pants" which I have and absolutely love and fit me perfectly. Hopefully Lulu will make more pants in this style.
