why we made this

We designed this run top to be our constant companion whenever we lace up our sneakers. We made the body seamless to keep us comfortable when we get super sweaty on long runs and designed it to be lightweight so it's easy to carry when we need to strip down.

Snags! I was very excited to buy this shirt as I've seen other girls wear it at local races. Totally cute and perfect for Midwest spring and fall weather. I wore it one time over a tank to take my daughter to a tennis lesson and when I got home and hung it up (I only wore it 2 hours!) I noticed not one, but TWO snags! I couldn't believe it! I'm new to wearing Lulu and am not off to a great start. :/ June 15, 2013
Snagged and ripped after two wears I am 5'9 and 175 lbs. I bought this shirt in my usual size 8 three weeks ago, and have worn it twice (as it hasn't been all that cool here in the evenings lately). After washing it with only lululemon, and laying it flat to dry, I have a snag in the right shoulder that has created a hole in the shirt. I am so dissapointed with the increasingly poor quality of Lululemon's swiftly tech line. I have so many tanks and t-shirts, and this was my first long sleeve. I was so excited about it.. until I noticed the snag and the hole. I can't even turn it inside out and try to pull the thread back in because it is ripped and can't tie together without creating an even more noticible snag. A loyal customer like me who is willing to pay the price for good quality clothes - close to giving up on Lulu. I never would have thought. June 11, 2013
perfect for everything I think this top is great. I can wear it on the ice during practice and it keeps me warm enough. pulls moisture away from my body so I don't freeze during less active times. It's the perfect layering piece for coaching. I can put it under a 1/4 zip for extra warmth. I wear it working out.. running.. just about everything. May 26, 2013
Like a second skin Purchased this shirt in Hallandale and am thoroughly impressed with the fit and feel of the shirt. The length of the shirt is perfect and to my great surprise hides very well my weak abdomen (after two kids). It's a great layering piece, feels like a second skin. I did not get snags yet and hope I wont as other reviews. But may happen since the fabric feels thin. May 13, 2013
what the snag? I have to say that I am new to lululemon, but have quickly become a devoted customer. If it's not lulu I don't want it. I purchased this item about a month ago, and loved it instantly. I wear it almost every morning when I do yoga on my porch. It's perfect, and I want it in every color. However, in such a short time I'm already getting a hole in my right sleeve due to a snag, a snag that's one of many. This material, though amazing, snags so easily. I worry about snagging it every time I put it on, which I shouldn't be doing in the middle of my practice. One of the seams in my thumb hole is also starting to unravel, or is snagged, I can't tell. It's really upsetting. Not only is my shirt torn, but so am I. May 7, 2013
Go-to winter running shirt I bought this shirt almost a year ago, and it is still in great shape: no snags as mentioned by many reviewers. I am 5'11", 115lbs and the size four fit well and was the perfect length. I continue to wear it running, and it is a great layering piece in the winter and good on its own in early spring/late fall. It occasionally rides up a bit if I'm wearing certain short but it usually isn't an issue; I could imagine those with wider hips finding that to be annoying however. Continue to make beautiful colours please as I will be looking to order another before next winter. May 6, 2013
Great shirt, but small snags This shirt fits great and is perfect for the in between temps when running outside. I wore it through a sunny race and a drizzly race and never had any issues with being too hot/too cold. The only issue I had was snags on the front from pins on my race bib. I know have three spots where the fabric has come up due to the pins. This shirt is good for running, but not for racing. May 3, 2013
Almost Perfect Shirt! Perfect cut, thin-ness, look. Just bought the black color (aka grey). I am taller and it works wellalone, under a jacket, or over a thin tank top or even a CRB. Ran 5 miles and it was great. However, the black/inkwell is cut completely differently. I tried that one on, too, and beware, it is much thinner and sits differently on the hips. Please make them consistent. Please make in pinkelicious or variations of solid blue, too! May 2, 2013

best fit for tall girls I have several of these in various colours and I just love the fit. I have very long arms and I can never find anything with long enough sleeves. These are perfect. I can even pull them down and use the thumbholes. I agree with everyone else about the fabric being prone to pulls, but any knit will do that. I try to be super careful, and so far I only got a few pulls :( Fabric wicks away moisture, and I double them up and wear 2 on cooler days. They are a good base layer for wintersports. Wash easily and dry quickly. I love the length. Theres even enough fabric to bunch up around the hips which looks nice running. April 23, 2013
