Run: Layer Me Long Sleeve

why we made this

When Winter temperatures linger into Spring, we rely on soft and cozy layers to help us get out and face the frigid air. We developed this long sleeve out of crazy-soft Rulu fabric and added reflective details to the arms and back zipper pocket so other early-birds can spot us.

PERFECT L/S The fit on this could not be more perfect. love the lenght, not to long or short, and the crew neck is perfectly snug. Very soft thin material. Im 5'5" and a 34d and chose my usual size 6. Can't go wrng with this one! May 17, 2013
Great shirt to layer! I got the dark green color & love it. Very soft, very comfortable. The zipper is awesome because it nicely tucks in prior to hitting the top of the shirt ~ I hate things rubbing against my neck. The reflecting stripes on the sleeves and back are awesome. Soft, feminine, warm long sleeve I usually wear a 4 in Lulu, and I purchased a 4 in yellow. I'm a 32C with wide rib cage and 25" waist. This top fit me beautifully. I like the length (it is truly long). I wear it to Crossfit and cycling. No pilling and I've worn it about 5:10 days! I don't want to take it off, its so soft and cute. April 8, 2013
LOVE this SOFT PERFECTION! -I could Live in this material every day it's SO SOFT. I hate anything itchy and wear a lot of lulu because its comfortable, this shirt outshines my staple Run Swiflty in the comfy department. -Love the pocket in the back I stash a house key, cash & Chapstick in. -Love the thumbholes in ALL lulu gear, it's what initially sparked my interest years ago as they were hard to find (often called "monkey thumbs"). Not only protects my hands from cold, but whether on the run or driving a commute they protect my hands from too much sun. -love the spring colors here, definitely on trend, the black & coral looks exactly as it does in the photo. (Can't miss with black and pink). -fit is pretty tts. I'm a 6 in tops, 6 in switly, 6 in this is great but a little less fitted than the swiftly....more like the photo. More easy fit. Hits just right in the shoulders, length is about the same as a switly on me, right at the hip bone, again very similar to this photo in my size. -function is fabulous, absorbs sweat well, dries quickly, keeps me cozy when I need a bit of warmth, is extremely lightweight and again I like the coverage from too much sun, it may not be warm enough on its own in winter, very light weight. Washes gorgeous is cool water and I hang to dry all my lulu gear....it all dries so quickly anyhow :) no pilling, no bleeds. -pure love. This is like.....the comfort food of long sleeve athletic or t-shirts. SO COMFORTABLE! Of corse with much of these high tech, moisture wicking, fast drying items I would treat it gently, wear and wash gently. They aren't intended for rough and tumble sports. Perfect fit I bought this top in the hopes that it would be looser than the run swiftly tops, because my normal size is a 6, but they were all sold out in the faded zap color. I am 5'6 and 132 lbs, so I sized down to a 4 and got it today in the mail, and it is absolutely perfect! I was hoping for a more fitted look with this shirt anyway and it is very flattering, and not too snug. The fabric is soooo soft, I am so excited to take it out for a spin! The size 6 in the Run swiftly long sleeve top fits me about the same as my size 4 Layer me long sleeve. Five stars, I have no complaints so far! I love the color, it fits perfectly, and feels like wearing a second skin. March 30, 2013
Love it! Perfect for SoCal winters. Just love the Layer Me LS. I bought the white/dune which is such a pretty, understated combination. I love the simple lines and flattering fit. I ended up sizing down to get a more fitted look. I find this a perfect layering piece for Southern California winters. Don't get me wrong, I'd love the see the Turn Around LS make a come back for chillier weather but the Layer Me is a great piece when you just need a little extra warmth. The reflectivity and zipper pocket make this a very functional run top. I also like that this has a straight hem. I much prefer that to the curved ones we've been seeing. March 29, 2013
Lightweight Longsleeve for Spring I wore this for a half marathon and it did the trick! It was cool throughout the morning, but even when I warmed up, I was comfortable in this. I was also able to push up the sleeves, which isn't always an option for some of Lulu's long-sleeved options. I never felt too warm in this--a PERFECT late winter/spring LS, ready to go as a base layer or on its own. For reference, I am a 34D and got a 4. Fits wonderfully: streamlined and flattering in the arms, a bit looser in the belly, and perfect across the chest. The colorblocking of the black/dune/bleached coral is beautiful and interesting. The material is buttery soft and incredibly comfortable. Does not disappoint at all, and the color combos here are fantastic. March 17, 2013
Perfect. I bought the bleached coral combo, and I took it for a run. It kept me warm, but I did not overheat. It wicked well enough that I didn't get cold from the top being soaked with sweat when I did my cool down. Best of all, it didn't ride up during my run; in fact, I never thought about it. I have a love/hate relationship with ls swiftlys. They ride up when I wear luxtreme bottoms, which i wear for runs. Swiftly wrists are too snug to pull the sleeves up even though I size up in the swiftly. So, the layer me will now be my go to for my runs. I just bought the mellow yellow, and I'm thinking about buying the black. I wear a 6 in swiftlys, and I bought a 4 in the layer me, which is pretty much always my TTS. March 15, 2013
My new fav I tried this on in the store but they didn't have the dune/polar color. I had to order online to get this color and love it. The color combo is timeless and will go with everything. The fit is almost perfect. I have a small a sized chest and there is a little room for more in the chest but doesn't bother me and still looks greAt. I wear a 6 in crb and sometime size down to a 4 but I got the 6. I also wear 6 in ls swiftly. Material is super soft. I would say this is great for a run when you need a bit more warmth than a swiftly. March 7, 2013
Perfect lightweight running top I was in need of a light running long sleeve for spring. It is light ,soft and cozy. It is perfect as a base layer or on its own. I bought an 8 which is my size in pretty much everything lulu and fit TTS. The bleached coral/dune/black is beautiful. For reference I am 148 lbs, 5'7". March 7, 2013
