a lightweight, moisture-wicking, four-way stretch fabric that feels cool and comfortable, keeping us moving in our hottest workouts
why we made this
Make limitations a distant memory in this tank made to move and groove. The cut is designed for maximum exertion during sweat sessions so you can focus on what you do best: kicking butt (as well as quoting 90s techno lyrics).
fabric + features
made with Luxtreme™ for maximum moisture-wicking and anti-stink capabilities
built-in shelf bra has pocket for removable cups - one less piece to throw in your gym bag on early mornings
the thick racerback straps are supportive and allow for complete freedom of movement
Once upon a time, Push UR limits was my favorite tank. I was so excited when I received the email indicating they were back in stores - and I was so disappointed when I tried it on. The fabric feels different than previous versions - and not in a good way. I have to agree with several other posters - what's with the bust darts? They are so strange, unflattering, and unnecessary. I was excited to stock up on more Push UR Limits but I guess it won't be from this batch.

I am a standard 8 in all Lulu (tops and bottoms), athletic 5'9 150 pounds and this top was second skin tight. I put it on and took it right off. I normally love all Lulu tops but this one was not enough coverage for my C cup so going up a size wouldn't work. I love the older tops that had thicket fabric which concealed more. I will exchange for another top.

I should say that this is my first push ur limits tank, so I have no experience with the older version of this tank. I like this tank, its both pretty and functional. The coverage is perfect for me. I did notice the bust darts, and while I'm not crazy about them, they aren't a deal breaker. I love how comfortable the straps are and they are wide enough to stick my ta ta tamer under. As one who is a 34 D,who runs and does cardio kickboxing, I don't find this tank to have as much support as I would like. I would really like to see Lulu come out with a tank that's sized in correlation to (sport) bra sizes (like the ta-ta tamer) so women who need more or less support can get it in the same tank. For example I pick up a 34D sized tank and get the support like I'd in have 34 D ta-ta tamer- just my two cents though :)

LOVE the older Push Your Limits. Stop the changes!
As a veteran buyer of many things Lululemon, I have seen changes for the worse in almost ALL of my favorite Lululemon products over the past 2 years. These include, the Push Ur Limits, Scoop Neck, Power Y, and Cool Racerback tanks. You have also changed the Run Inspire crops (how do I count the ways?), and, you also did away with the Define and Stride/In Stride jackets that were so beloved.
So why am I mentioning other products here in a review of "Push Your Limits"? Because I have written previous reviews for these products, and now, am prevented from writing another one. So... I am using space here to voice my disappointment with the changes to my other favorites.
Now, back to the "Push". From past reviews I've read, women universally love this top. So why would your factories be instructed to change the construction of the shelf bra from smooth, seamless and flattering to bumpy, lined, and unflattering? And why have you, yet again, lengthened a top (by about 2 inches) that was the perfect length for most everyone before?
Can't we all just agree that the length of some tops fit some ladies better than others and leave the tried and true alone? You did it with all the other tanks I mentioned above too. We are not all 5'10" with mile long torsos. I am 5'6' with a medium length torso, and I don't want to wear a dress as a workout top.
I gave this top 4 stars because I do not believe in diminishing the value of a product I once loved. However, when a product I previously loved, and spent lots of money on, gets negatively changed, that deserves my criticism. I do not love this version of the "Push", and clearly, I am not alone in that assessment. I do, however, want it back the way it used to be (2+ years ago).
I am not a perpetually disgruntled person, but I know what I like, and I know what made Lululemon so very special in the past. YOU GUYS USED TO BE FANTASTIC!
Food for thought: I would welcome the opportunity to speak in a professional, productive manner to an upper member of management about my observations. A fact to consider is: I am a fitness trainer/instructor and a big mouth-piece for Lululemon. I have quite the extensive Lulu collection. For the most part, it is all I wear for fitness, and I receive many compliments when wearing it. Most of it is older (2011 and back).
In closing, this company could be great again. All lovers of Lululemon have faith, but something needs to be done very soon! We still love you, we just want the "old you" back! Give me a call Chip!

I also have a Push ur Limits tank from a couple of years ago, and it's well-designed, supportive and flattering. I've been waiting a long time for it to come back in new colours, so I was really excited to see it online last week. The assorted stripe one is particularly fun. The problem with the latest one is there's a bit of a round thing created by the stitching so that a nipple-like bit is formed exactly on the nipple areas. If that's not bad enough, it is accentuated by these "bust darts" (well-said Luludawg). This darting looks like arrows pointing up toward the nipples - highlighting the very things we want to downplay. I would like a smooth and seemless look - which I know is possible too because my old Push ur Limits tank is smooth and dartless (doesn't have that stitching). Hope Lululemon fixes this issue in the near future! Too bad because it's an otherwise very flattering top!

One of my old favorites...not the same!
This is one of my favorite tanks Lulu makes. I love the shape and wide straps. The color combos are always great! Lulu....what have you done? There are darts in the built in shelf bra that show through the extremely smooth and unforgiving Luxtreme fabric. I had to go back to my older version of this tank and it does not have these darts. You can even see them in the picture of the model online. I noticed another reviewer has the same complaint. In addition, the new bra cup inserts are HORRIBLE! They are not the same cups of the past! They indent and deform and this shows through the material of the top. Please go back to the old bra cups. The new ones are garbage and unusable. I gave 2 stars for the darling color combinations and nice wide straps. Unfortunately, this top is going back to Lulu. Bummer.

I have had a couple Push UR Limits tanks in the past, and they were my favorite. I had to give up my old tanks because they were no longer a proper fit, so I was so excited to see the tank released again so I could add them back into my collection.
As for sizing, I am 142#, 5'6'', 36B/C, and I am reliably a size 8 in support tops, including this one. The fit is absolutely perfect, the Raspberry color is gorgeous, and the stripes are fun and adorable.
It absolutely pains me not to be able to give the new release 5 stars. However, the shelf bra has darts stitched into it on the outermost layer, peaking right over the nipple, and these darts show straight through the top. You can see this in the pics online, but it is even more evident in person. I have never been fond of the tops made with bust darts, but at least when they are on the outside, on second glance you figure out what's going on. In this situation, they just have a headlight effect that I work hard to avoid.
I love everything else about the tank, but unfortunately I am about 90% sure that the shelf-bra's bust darts are a deal-breaker and it's going back.
I do appreciate that cups were included in my online order.

Not for smaller chests
Although beautiful cut color and fit. It was too loose for me in my regular size. I am usually a size 6 in lulu tops and bras. 34B However. For me at least, the top was too loose. For women who are well endowed- I think it will be lovely. As for me I had to return as it was too loose up top for me to run in. Fabric was smooth soft and light.

Thank you for bringing it back!
This is my most favorite tank that lulu makes. It is very flattering and supportive enough for me (34DD). I love the purple. Keep making more colors :)

Best tank ever and I want to buy more
I bought two of these tank as my first purchase and I am absolutely in love with them. They are the most comfortable work out wear I have ever owned. I need more because I could live in them everyday. The straps are comfortable and don't cut into your skin, the support in the chest is perfect for running or any physical activity, the length is perfect because it doesn't ride up and you don't have to keep pulling it down. I wish they would come out with some new colors because I want to add more to my collection. There is no way to improve on this perfect piece except keep them coming.
