Power Y Tank *Luon 4.3 5 596 603
favourite top I love these tops! The fit and style are perfect and supportive. I have three of them in different colours, I love the pastel colours the most and use them from everything from yoga to sprint training to weights. They are definitely my most frequently worn gym clothes! May 31, 2013
my go to tank Love the power Y tank... always looks good and give great support. slowly collecting all the colours. I dont really have a bust and have broad muscular shoulders this tank gives me great definition and bustline May 2, 2013
Amazing All-rounder The Power Y tank is one of my favourite items in my wardrobe. It is a very flattering cut, especially on people who are slim but have a bigger bust (I am a 12C). Fantastic for walking/running, yoga and pilates. When I run, I like to wear a sports bra but only because I feel more comfortable that way. April 21, 2013
Meh I was super excited to score an "old" luon version. I got my usual 6 and 8 because people sail the run small. 8 was way to big. The 6 fits, but sadly it's too short for my average 5'6" frame. I have an hourglass figure. After 1 sun salutation b it rose up so that you could see my lower back in the next forward fold. The fabric doesn't "give" like my luon lite versions, so that plus shorter length, and my hippy frame just don't mesh. I would say the luon puckers a little. I hate to take them back because the tender violet color is amazing but it's just not practical. April 13, 2013
Made in Canada!!!! This made in Canada luon version is a million times better than the luon light version made overseas. I love the bordeaux color, too. It has more support, isn't as low cut (so I don't fear my chest popping out during yoga), & is the perfect length (not too long like the luon light version). Please Lulu, make all your products this with high quality & fit! The fact that these sold out ASAP should be a hint! April 13, 2013
Love the thicker material! I got the indigo color, it looks like navy with a purple undertone. I love it! It's very comfortable and supportive. April 13, 2013
Almost perfect First off, I am very happy that lululemon brought the Power Y back in the Luon fabric. I like Luon Light in the Cool Racerback, but it just doesn't work as well in the Power Y. The top is very well constructed with careful, even stitching throughout. It was shipped with the removable cups, which I really appreciate. I wear it for yoga and weight training at the gym and plan to wear it as a casual top with shorts and skirts when the weather warms up. While the product description states that it provides "medium support," the hang tag describes it as "low support." In my case (34C on a good day), the hang tag is more accurate, and I would not rely on this top to provide adequate support during higher impact activities. My usual size 6 fits almost perfectly with one exception: The length, or lack thereof. It could use another inch or two of fabric at the bottom hem for better coverage. I find myself constantly pulling it down. Wearing it with higher rise bottoms helps avoid showing skin, but I would prefer more length so I can wear it with all of my pants ands crops and feel comfortable. I am 5'6" and change. On a general note, it would be awesome if the heights of the models were included in the product descriptions to help online customers gauge the length of the garments. The product description for the Power Y states that it is hip-length, but everyone has different proportions, so more information would be very helpful. April 12, 2013
Please make more!!! The support is perfect; great for yoga, and I also love wearing these in warmer weather -- I don't need to wear a bra... FAR superior to the luon light power y tank... please make more, though! I was unable to purchase any, as all of my sizes were already sold out... I appreciate the longer length, and the way that it skims the body, allowing for movements with little to no adjustments--I hate pulling down shirts/tanks... and I love how these look on me! I have been disappointed with the luon lights, in that they tend to be see-through around the bust, and the material is thinner, but not as nice as the regular power Ys... I definitely recommend the regular luon power Ys and would not recommend the luon lights... [I have appreciated yoga, in conjunction with running, and since happening across lululemon, I've decent respect for their products not only for yoga, but also for running! :) ] April 9, 2013
Sad Pretty disappointed at this new power y. It's not the same fabric as my older ones, it's scratchy and I actually found it shorter than my others. The seems dig in and it's uncomfortable to wear. The past few things I've gotten from lululemon have left me feeling ripped off and upset that I spent the money on low quality clothes made in Sri Lanka. I'm a longtime loyal customer of about 7 years and I've had enough if the quality decline. April 9, 2013
Not quite there yet I'm 110lb, 34A, 5'3 and ordered 4 (my usual LL tank size) in tender violet. it's snug around the chest (good support for my small chest; can run) and not too snug around the mid section. The length is perfect (just slightly covers the top of my bum). My complaint: the shelfbra elastic band rides up over time (the space is vertically higher than it needs to be). The thin bra cups initially gave dimples (yuk!) but I sort of figured out a way to smoothen it. Also the tank becomes wrinkled in the mid section where it bunches up over time, which was surprising to me given how I falsely imagined this to be as thick and compressive of a luon as my WU crop from a few years back. I can't imagine anyone still in the process of losing a bit of unwanted fat from their midsections wearing this without showing bumps. It definitely would not smooth out your bumps... I really wish it were thicker and softer. Is it worth $52+tax? eeks.... if you don't mind spending a lot of $ for a so-so, everyday+gym tank then I guess it is worth it. April 9, 2013
