why we made this

When we're getting really hot in yoga or at the gym, we want a tank that can handle our sweat and gives us freedom of movement. We made the Free To Be out of lightweight, inherently moisture-wicking Luxtreme and gave it straps that move with us so we can twist without restriction.

Great tank for wear outside of the gym! When I got this tank, I was so excited. The fit was great and the material is very similar to that of a swimsuit. I totally recommend this product and can't wait until lulu comes out with different colors. Also, I'm 5'6", 122 pounds and I got a 4 in this top. June 17, 2013
Great tank! I got this tank in black in a size 6, and it fits perfectly (I'm 5'7'', 140lbs, 34c). The fabric is thick and certainly not see-thru (almost swimsuit like). The shirt stays in place when working out. Wouldn't necessarily wear this for running, due to the lower support level. All around great tank! June 11, 2013

MORE COLOURS PLEASE! This tank top is my absolute favourite from Lululemon, so flattering and cute and everything about it is perfect. If you have a toned back this is the tank for you as it makes your back look flawless and toned! I just wish you guys made it in more colours other then black... I would buy like 10 more if you had other colours so thats a shame but nonetheless it's amazing. I am 5'3 120 lbs with 34B although I still remove the padding and wear a strapless bra or sports bra underneath! June 5, 2013
Classy tank This tank is just a beautiful fit and cut. I generally don't like tanks with built-in bras as they never provide enough support for me (32D). However, I wear this tank for casual wear and it's certainly enough support for gym or errands. Smaller busts would find it supportive enough for most activities, I imagine. I'm 5'7", 122 lb, and the size 4 fits like a glove. I literally get compliments on the tank every time I wear it. So feminine and flattering. I just wish I'd tried it earlier, before they stopped releasing new colors. I'm hoping they'll bring this tank back in the future. June 4, 2013
How disappointing I could not wait to get this top. Sadly, when I got it and tried it on I hated it. The material is way too thin and offers no compression/support. What happened lululemon? Definitely not the same quality as in years past. May 30, 2013
Beautiful Tank; Please Make More I have this in the Bleached Coral and pink and white striped colors, and they are easily two of my favorite tops in my workout wardrobe. I initially ordered the size 4 and it was entirely too snug, so I exchanged it for a size 6 and it fit just right. For reference, I am 34B and usually wear size 2 in other clothes and 4 in most of Lulu's other tops that do not have built in bras. I love the criss-cross straps in the back and the soft texture of the fabric. My only complaint is that one of the removable cups was dented which was not a good look, but I was able to exchange it for another. If Lulu comes out with other colors for this top, then I will probably buy them. May 19, 2013
LOVE THIS TANK TOP! I cant believe how i love this tank top so much. Initially i was a little hesitant as the free to be bra didnt fit so well. but i am glad i gave it a try. I usually get a size 6 in racer back and Y tank. I got a 6 in this and it fits so well. Support wise it is great for even high impact. I guess it could be because it fit snug. I really love this tank and hope more colors will be made available! May 18, 2013
Best LuLu top so far I am 5 feet 5 inches and 125 I wear a size 2 and this top fits perfectly. I love where the seems are placed I have very sensitive skin so the seems don't rub in the wrong places! It also covers enough while allowing you to stay cool May 13, 2013
Awesome! I ordered this for my sister first and then had to order one for myself after she let me try hers on. If you feel confident with your shape you will love this tank! I use it for crossfit and its a lot of jumping and moving around, this tank was awesome! I wish that they had more colors. I am 5'4" 129 pound with a muscular build and i got a 4. I LOVE it on!
