Run: Top Speed Bra 4.3 5 38 38
Pretty good... I have recently discovered it's time to admit that UA isn't going to start remaking my favorite sports bra any time soon and began the search to find a solid bra for running. I am a 34C. I don't my sports bra to have adjustments or padding or any of that stuff. I just want to be able to pull it on and have it fit the same every time, which is pretty hard to find in a world of bras with all the bells and whistles. After trying (and being disappointed with) Nike's only non-adjustable full impact bra, I gave this one a go. I bought a size 4, which definitely uni-boobs me and makes it so I cannot wear this bra with any shelf bra tops (unless I want mega cleavage), but I like the security of sizing slightly down and don't actually care what my boobs look like when I run as long as they don't move. That said, I do like that these bras are cute. I have purchased both the black and orange/navy. The pros: Everything stays pretty well where it belongs. I feel minimal bouncing, which is great. The fabric in places is super soft and the design is very cute. I like have the traditional keyhole cutout in the back to hook my iPod into. The cons: I've run up to 16 miles in this bra and got some chafing. Perhaps this is due to sizing down and having some skin/fat rubbing, but it's nothing a little Body Glide can't fix (I hope). Neither bra I purchase came with the removable cups, which I wasn't unhappy about, as I would not use them, but do double check if you would use them. Perhaps Lulu could add a box when ordering to check if you want to cups so those of us who don't won't waste materials and trash them and those who do actually get them. Overall, it seems to be a better than average bra that gets the job done. Not as comfortable as my UA bras are, but then again, I've been running in the same style for about a decade. April 11, 2013
Snug I've been looking for a sports bra for running for a loooooong time. I got a new Nike one last year, and it was...okay. I've looked at Nike, Under Armour, Reebok, etc., etc. I ordered this bra and the Ta-Ta Tamer 2. Not sure how I feel about the Ta-Ta Tamer, but the Top Speed Bra is just what I'm looking for! The scoop front isn't too high, the band is supportive, the strap length is just right, just wonderful! I am a 32D, I first ordered a size 4, and the bra gave me uni-boob, squeezed the girls a little too tight. I went to the store, tried on a size 6, and it was perfect, with or without the cups, but adding the cups helps give more shape. I want to buy more!!! April 7, 2013
Great for running OK I admit I bought this bra because it was in my University colors (orange and blue). I don't like to buy running bras that don't come in actual bra sizes because they never seem to have enough support. I normally wear the TaTa Tamer for running. But this bra is great for running. I've worn and washed it about 10 times and no concerns. I've run anywhere from 5 to 15K and the support is very good, no bounce, no chaffing, rubbing, etc. I also bought an All Sport bra which is softer, but the Top Speed has better support. I'm 32C and purchased a 6. I typically purchase 4, but the reviews made me choose 6 (I don't live near a store) and the 6 is definitely the right size for me. April 2, 2013
Super Comfortable Love it - good support but comfortable for all day wear. Has held up through CrossFit and Krav Maga classes. Never got uncomfortable while wearing it during an 8 hour training certification. Being a 32D, the support could still be better, but again, it's good and the fact that it's so comfortable makes up for it. March 25, 2013
love it! make your girls happy :-) I am a 34/36 D and need lots of support, but at the same time I don't like a difficult bra to get on and off, especially when I'm hot and sweaty. I liked the cross your heart bra from about a year ago and they discontinued it, but I think I like this one better (please keep it in rotation!).... I ran the LA Marathon last week wearing this bra and had no problems with chafing, bouncing, rubbing, anything. Well done. I'll buy a million if they can come in some cute colors. March 23, 2013
Best full-support bra I was looking for a bra that would keep my Ds in place during burpees; I'd previously been wearing the Energy Bra, but even that one is a little light on support and not great for when we do a lot of running in my Crossfit classes. I almost missed this bra because they have it separate from the rest in the store, in the running section. I'm so glad the educator recommended it to me! It's the absolute best for support without being bulky and unflattering (hello, Ta Ta Tamer). I've done super run, jump, and burpee heavy WODs in this bra and everything stays perfectly in place. Moreover, it's really really flattering in a way full support bras usually aren't. My boobs look fantastic in this. PLEASE make more colors! I already own both of the available ones (and I HATE the circus stripes--that should tell you how much I love this bra). March 12, 2013
so happy I am so happy with this bra. I have purchased a few Y bras, and I do like them, but I'll never get one again after putting this baby on. The material is so lovely, and the cut is awesome. Perfect under racerbacks or swiftly tanks. I am smaller chested (B) but most bras seem to just flatten and squeeze the girls in. But this one lifts and supports and is the perfect amount of coverage for my smallish chest. (size 6) I'm in love. Running, spinning, kickboxing, it's perfect for everything. This is my first review ever even though I've been buying lulu for years and read reviews religiously before I buy. What prompted me to write is that I want you guys to keep making this bra! More colors! Just don't stop making it:) March 6, 2013
Favourite sports bra This is probably my favourite sports bra. I got it in a lovely striped colour combo that doesn't seem to be available anymore - please add more colours! I wore this for an hour and a half of treadmill running in a very hot gym the other day and it kept me cool and comfortable. It fits true to size - same size as all my other lulu stuff. As per the other reviewers, mine didn't come with the removable cups either. Um...huh? How does that happen? Anyway, I just stick in the ones from another top, but it's seriously annoying for ladies like me who like the inserts for modesty and to create a bit of shape. March 5, 2013
great bra but comes without removable pads this is a great bra and i have ordered two recently, however, they both came without the removable padding. it is quite a hassle to constantly be calling and trying to get the right materials that should have been included in the order the first time. Love this! For most women, a good sports bra is as important as the right shoes. And as with shoes, no one bra is perfect for everyone. I tried this on at the store and I love the feel and fit or it. I used it last Sunday's at the Pasadena RnR Half Marathon and it was very comfortable, held the girls all the way 13.1 miles! I bought 2 of these, thank you! February 22, 2013
