Rated 1 out of 5 by PersildeNeige Seams coming apart after one wear, one washing
I bought one pair of these, thinking that I would certainly be buying more, but wanted to make sure the size was right. Indeed,it was good size-wise, but I was very surprised to see that after wearing them once and washing them by hand that the seam at the base of the crotch is coming apart. Very disappointing. It's too bad, I liked the fit.

Rated 3 out of 5 by smurfytuesday Pretty comfy but too big
I found the fabric to be nice and soft. I purchased the smallest size however they are still too big. I wear them but they move around too much to wear during actual yoga practice. They are washing and lasting well. I am 5'1" petite and curvy. Buy a size smaller...unless there isn't one.
A smaller size would be much appreciated.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Sfmags Holes and fraying
When my 8-year old hanky panky underwear started to show wear, I began the search for new styles. Since lulu lemon never disappoints I quickly picked up two pairs of these. I loved the fit and style and bought a few more. Within just a few washes they all developed holes in the thong. They started as tiny holes and quickly grew. Some also developed fraying on the edges. So sad since I just love them without the holes

Rated 5 out of 5 by hipchick127 Great workout thong
I have about 10 of these thongs. Some I have had for at least 2 years and all have been washed and thrown in the dryer dozens of times. I have never had a quality issue with any of them. Even accidentally went through the "sani" cycle on the washer (basically boils clothing) and came out fine. I wear them for all my workouts: hiking, biking, yoga, pilates, TRX, running, HIIT, etc. and they pass the test each time. I even wear them as regular underwear from time to time since they are so comfortable. They are the perfect rise so won't peek out of the top of your yoga pants, even when on a bike. The side band is about an inch tall making them super comfortable. I am 5'1 and wear the small. Highly recommend these.

Rated 5 out of 5 by adlgel Haven't had a single quality issue
I have about 9 pairs of the Mula Bandawear thong (some as old as a year or more) and wear them at least 5 out of 7 days in the week, so they are getting a ton of washing and wearing. I even put mine in the dryer and can honestly say that I haven't had an issue with a single pair developing a hole or fraying. Maybe I'm just getting lucky but I did feel that it was only fair to provide a balanced perspective on the quality of this underwear since many other reviews indicate poor quality.
I find them very comfortable, they stay up and give me the smooth look I want under my clothes. I will continue to purchase these. For size reference, I am 5'7", now 142 lbs (but have been up to 158) and wear a size L in the thong (typically a size 8 in all LLL bottoms except for seamless pants like Seamlessly Street and Ebb to Street as I take a 6 in those). I feel that perhaps now I am on the border of a M and a L but it's not as if the L are falling off of me. However, I think the next pair I buy will be a M to see if that size works for me.

Rated 2 out of 5 by bold doesn't last longer than two months
I admit i love these cause they are comfortable and i own 6 of them. however they all have holes in them. I can't stop buying them so it's my own fault. But come on lulu you charge so much yet they don't last longer than a few months. For sizing i always get the small size (size 24.5" waist) even though i buy size 6 pants. I own 1 medium and it is way too big. I spoke to a girl at the store and told her how after two months they get holes in them and she told me "girl you need to upgrade your underwear". Excuse me, i already spent $80 on underwear this year and shouldn't have to do it every couple of months which irritated me. Maybe lulu should make a quality product since that is what they strive for.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Mackatt Great underwear, terrible quality
I love the feel of these undies and could honestly wear them everyday. However, I am so disappointed in the quality (have had Gap underwear for years that it still in tip top shape and much cheaper). I have washed these less than 10 times and the edge has already started to fray -- cannot wear them anymore. I am hesitant to buy more even though I'd love them in all colors.

Rated 5 out of 5 by goldyn4 BEST. UNDIES. EVER!
What's not to like? they're light as air, they stay put, and they're soft as silk. I have many pairs of these (I buy a new pair every time a new color comes out#, and if washed on a cold gentle cycle #with all my other lulu gear) and hung to dry, they hold up really well. ONE pair has developed a pin sized hole, but the hole hasn't gotten any bigger so I don't care. With material as thin and soft as this, I'm impressed there aren't more issues with them falling apart. These are awesome undies, do yourself a favor and get some - you won't regret it.

I love these and the bikinis, so much so that I've bought one pair of each, every time I've been in the store. Im up to 4 or 5 reach. I haven't had problems with washing either. I have a front load washer and wash all LLL items together. I do air dry sometimes, but not always. i was a skeptic for so long after some of the other reviews. all i can think is if you have sharp nails or a bad washer, then holes might become a problem. But like i said, I've bought a few and washed them several times and so far so good. I'm phasing out my hanky-pankys because these are so much better! Darn they are expensive, i agree with the other reviewer how about a 3 for promo??? seriously even 3/40? And i wish i got a birthday coupon in the mail. Im so loyal, a coupon once a year would be nice!

I have several pairs of these, wear and wash them weekly, and have never had a quality concern. I wash them on a gentle cycle and dry them in a low heat dryer with my other Lulu items, some of the pairs have likely been laundered over 50 times or more. They are exceptionally comfortable, and are breathable during exercise. I find that they are not quite invisible under some workout pants, but really close. I think you get what you pay for in this situation.
