What a waste
This used to be my favorite kind of underwear. Okay, the linings sometimes come unglued, but they can be fixed, so I overlooked it. But now the design of the hipster just keeps going downhill.
First they changed the sizing without telling anyone. I used to wear a small and loved it. Now the smalls are way too tight on me. Okay, so I sized up, no biggie, just a little money wasted on a couple of pairs before I realized the sizing was different.
Now I order a pair of the surge blue and find out they are no longer (or at least, not always) dying the gusset lining to match the panty. I was excited to order a pair of the surge blue hipsters, but they arrived with a very light (almost white) gusset lining that shows through the fabric. Sooooo awkward to have your crotch panel showing through your sheer underwear. I contacted the GEC, and they said this is not a mistake - the surge blue hipster has a very light blue lining. Big design mistake with sheer undies!
I've about reached the point where I'm no longer willing to risk buying more of these. I'm tired of the unwelcome surprises.

Finally smaller (but still need xs -and xl!)
Finally, some undies that are smaller. I'd say a small fits a size 4 perfectly. I'm a 2, so still a touch big, but wearable without any riding up at all. They are quite comfy and I didn't notice them at all when wearing them. I still wish lululemon would make a full range of size, and include both xs and xl.

These are the answer I have been looking for!! I just can't seem to feel comfortable in thongs. I have tried them all. Then these came along. NO VPL at all and soooo comfy! THANK YOU!! I own several of the first batch made of these and they are great. Then they seemed to fix the issue where some people complained that they rolled down by making a very slightly different band. Way better! No rolling plus they fit just a bit snugger which is so good. The size smalls were always just a tad too big which was fine since I wore them under tights and couldn't tell but now they are perfect. (I wear a lulu 4 so I feel like this newer size small underwear is more accurate for people.) I will buy these forever especially with the upgraded version! The only thing I worry about a little is the cotton gusset coming apart. The edge of one of my older style ones is starting to peel a bit. But I love these so much that it won't stop me from buying more!

Worst $18 I have EVER spent. I never write reviews but these awful, way overpriced underwear have taken the cake.
Just believe me, DON"T order them. BIG butt wedge. UNCOMFCORTABLE. CHEAP material.
Go to SOMA, vanishing edge are the deal.

i love the first 5 pairs of the hipsters. bought them at the store but then ordered on line in several colors. i bought mediums and I'm 130 pounds. the latest ones i received are too tight. when they are too tight they begin to roll up on the edges. why did you change the size? they were perfect! do i need to buy larges or measure each medium at the store? help!!!

Missing the groovy girlshort...
I bought a pair of these because my groovy girlshort underwear are finally seeing their end, but these are a sad replacement. The material is not as sturdy or comfortable, and the edges roll up and don't stay in place like the groovy girlshort ones. It defeats the purpose en, because you can see the line from the rolled up edge. No good. Bummed that I wasted $20 on these, and I am panicky now that you can't get the groovy girlshort anymore! Please, lululemon, bring back the groovy girlshort!

Love these for running!
I recently grabbed a pair when they were in the clearance section for $9. I figured $18 was a bit pricey for a pair incase the sizing off or they weren't comfortable. Let me say I will for sure be buying more pairs at the full price! (if they are ever on clearance again I will be getting even more! hint hint!) They are so soft and allow you to move easily. They also don't show any lines under my running tights. I would even wear them under tight fitting dresses or regular pants! Love these!

Feels like your wearing nothing
I will wear these under almost everything. I will definitely be buying more. I'm curvy and I was glad these don't ride up.

love these hipsters!!! They are so comfy! I wear them whenever they're clean! I'm actually wearing them now, while I type! These are obviously my favourite pair of underwear so far in my life! I definitely recommend that you buy these, or at least consider adding them to your Wishlist!

Appropriately named "light as air"
I was worried about these because the reviews said they fell apart and the waistband "rolled", but I wanted to try them, so I ordered a pair and they are exactly what I was looking for. I have the feel of wearing underwear, which I like, without any outward signs that I am. No VPL whatsoever. I ordered my regular size small and found they fit perfectly and have had no issue at all with them rolling down, even when I wear them under jeans or looser pants. I loved them so much I ordered a bunch more in different colours. I have washed them in the washer on regular cycle (in a lingerie bag) and hung them to dry and have had no issues with stretching or falling apart. I have Commando underwear that was $30 a pair and I like the Light as Air much better at less than 2/3 the price.
