Light As Air Hipster
This is one of the most poorly conceived and expensive pairs of underwear I've ever purchased. The only thing I liked were the colors.
The fabric is extremely thin, it stretches out very easily, becoming baggy and deformed, and it's incredibly slippery. This all leads to bunching, wedgies, and pants slipping off, which makes for an extremely uncomfortable underwear experience.
The sizing is also incorrect. These definitely run about half to a full size big, due to the fabric's tendency to overstretch.
Bottom line, this is a subpar product.

I bought these on the advice of an educator who suggested them as a good way to avoid panty lines and wedgies when I work out. However, I did find that I had a few of the same problems with them stretching out over time.
I recommend the Mula Bandhawear Bikini instead. They do the same things but they're better put together. They just don't have the same fun patterns.

Better than the thong, but still won't stay put
After not having success with the light as air thong, I spoke with the ladies in the store and decided to try out the hipster. I was reluctant to spend more money on lululemon underwear since the other ones didn't work for me, but figured the hipster at least wouldn't give me the 'front wedgie' that the thong did when it moved.
These were slightly better than the thong, but still all wrong. They wouldn't stay put during any sort of activity, so I wore them to work, figuring I really don't move that much there, but I couldn't wait to get home and take them off.
I'm a size 2 in their pants and the 2/4 was definitely too big, which may be the issue. Like the thong, I'm giving 2 stars instead of 1 because I'd hope they would at least be slightly better if they actually fit.

Very comfy but fall apart
I have several pairs and I wear them all the time. I wash them in a laundry bag and hang to dry... but 3 pairs have fallen apart at the glued seams. For $18 each it's pretty disappointing.

Would Not Recommend!
I bought one pair of the light as air hipsters and after one wash, the lining had peeled off. Deciding to give them another shot (they were quite comfortable, cute prints, and stayed in place while I was at yoga and step), I bought another two pairs a couple days ago. One pair lasted until it's first wash, and the other pair lasted about half an hour before the lining began peeling off again!
After taxes are included, I have spent $60 on underwear that are no longer any good and I can't take back. Definitely disappointed and would not buy again. What a shame, because I love everything that lululemon makes. Sadly, I would probably never buy another pair of underwear here again because if they break, they cannot be returned.

Do not buy!
I bought a pair of the Light as Air thong and this brief and had to leave my Insanity class and take them off as they kept falling down. Its like they have no elasticity and after one wearing they were useless. I was so frustrated to spend this much money on something I can't even use. What a waste!

well ill give it that there are no under wear lines .The part I don't like is that I have to keep adjusting them.so I have the urge to grab my butt and fix them.

These are not made to last even one day
These are very comfortable. However, as soon as I put them on the waistband blew out. There is a huge hole in the seam. For the price I expect better construction. Now I have to go throough the trouble of figuring out how to return this damaged non retunable item. What a pain. Ugh.

Inconsistent sizing and poor quality
While preparing for a trip abroad I purchased one pair of the "Light as Air Hipster". I'm a size 10 so the sales associate suggested I purchased a M. It fit like a dream and I felt it lived up to the price. I immediately went back and purchased two more the exact same product (same color and size).
Long story short, save yourself the frustration and the money. The two additional pair I purchased were both too small. Since the policy on underwear allows for no returns, I was stuck with (after tax) almost $60 worth of underwear, of which I could only wear one pair. I threw the two pair that were too small away.
Since I had read some of the other reviews that the quality was inferior, I have been exceedingly careful to hand-launder them in cool water and dry flat. I estimate that I've worn them approximately a dozen times since I purchased them. Yesterday I wore them on a day trip to a football game when one of the seams came COMPLETELY UNGLUED while I was wearing them. This stranded me without underwear in a stadium full of about 90k people - awkward to say the least!
As I threw my $60 pair of underwear in the garbage can of a ladies bathroom in a football stadium, I found myself asking two questions:
1) Does the company stand behind the consistency of the fit?
2) What am I to do when my Lululemon products are of such poor quality that they fall apart WHILE I'M WEARING THEM?

Having a bigger bum has created a few difficulties for me in finding seamless undies with the right amount of coverage, but this is my new solution. These have provided the coverage and comfort that I need especially when I'm biking or doing any aggressive cardio in general. Will definitely be buying a few more for my collection!
