why we made this

We made this running skirt to complement our long strides. We included built-in shorts so we stay confident no matter how large our leaps. The shorts have sticky elastic on the hem so they stay put when pick up the pace.

great skirt I have this skirt in a tall size 4 and it fits great. I am 5'11 and 150 pounds and it fits great everywhere. The only negative is that it rides up, even with the sticky stuff on the bottom of the legs. June 15, 2013
How Many is Too Many? I LOVE this skort! I have 6 of them now, size 6 Tall (I'm 5'5", 138 lbs). At age 51 with legs that aren't long and lean, I appreciate having the tall version (my younger teammates have the regular length and it looks great on them, but it is definitely short). The flat front is great - the pleats in back are tidy. Most tennis players I know don't use ball pockets - it's faster and easier to just keep an extra ball under the shorts. It helps to lay the skirt flat to dry, smoothing out the pleats. Super cute, stylish, comfortable, and holds up well. June 13, 2013
Cute, BUT Not worth the high $$ Starting on a positive note, this skirt is super cute & flattering. However, If I'm paying $60, I expect it to be comfortable & for my gear to stay in place. The design with the silicone strip on the inner thigh spandex was very well thought out, but they do not stay in place while running. They ride up. I have skirts from Target-Champion that I am more satisfied with that I paid much much less for. June 11, 2013
Fantastic Running Skirt I have wanted a skirt with built in shorts for a long time. I just don't like shorts very much, and these were perfect because of the pockets. If you have a dog, they are great for walks and the tennis pocket can be used to hold for bags. I use the gel pockets to hold tissue, but I don't know how anyone can fit real gel packs in there. I bought the black for three reasons: 1) It has a 4-way stretch, and not all of the skirts do. The black has been great for my post-run stretching/yoga; 2) Black is versatile; 3) The colour selection was not great as the limitless blue that I wanted sold out fast. I waited for almost a month to see if any came into stock or new colours, but pretty limited as it the case with LL generally. Sizing: I am not tall at 5'4"/163cm, but as a pear shaped person, the regular length hit the thickest part of my thighs. I like the Tall not that long on me. I usually wear a US4/UK8 dress size and the Size 6 fit my legs. The waist is loose, but that's what the drawstring is for. A very comfortable skirt. Please continue to stock great skorts like these! IN LOVE I love these skirts so much that whenever a new color comes out I buy it. I'm curvy but petite (5'3) and I take a 6 and its perfect. I don't like shorts so these skirts make me very happy to run in. Personally I think the shorts underneath can ride up a bit sometimes but its not a deal breaker. I hope the new colors keep coming! I read the reviews...and I still got it wrong So....as an over 40 year old runner, never purchased anything from lululemon, so spent quite a bit of time reading the reviews on run skirts. Finally choose this one and ordered 2 figuring I would follow the majority on ordering the tall length. I am petite...and this is WAY too long on me. Have returned and am trying the regular length, hopeful this one works. The skirts are so cute, wishing they offered the regular length in different colors...maybe they do and are just already sold out? Anyway, I'm just shy of 5' and about 90 lbs. I would say if you are anywhere close to that height and want a running skirt (not golf) order the regular length. Hope this helps. p.s. I did LOVE the skirt, just too long!! :) May 25, 2013
Very cute golf skirt! Bought this skirt to golf in black. Very comfortable - the shorts underneath provide good coverage. Its a very flattering fit and I'm sure I'll be wearing it all summer. For taller girls (I'm 5'8") its nice to find something long enough to cover up the behind! If you're between sizes, go for the larger size. Both the 8 and 6 could have worked for me but I went for the 8 in order to get a little more length. May 23, 2013
my star rating is misleading... This is my all time favorite running skirt and it's PERFECT for my golf game too. The cut is perfect, comfy, nothing moves in the wrong direction. I LOVE THIS SKIRT. I am obsessed with it. But unfortunately, I NEED the tall size of the skirt and it's got to be a size 10. They only carry this combo in the White color --- which I own and love. I've been checking the website daily for more colors in that size and nothing. I'm beginning to think Lululemon doesn't care about us tall girls! So that's why there's a poor rating. I'm hoping it catches someone's eye over there in corporate where all the size/color/design decisions are made. Please help me Lululemon!!!! May 23, 2013
Tall is too short Please make this skort longer - even the tall is too short and if you are remotely curvy the fabric rides up. Also why are the skorts not offered in size 12. Not everyone that is a runner is a stick. It's very disappointing that Lulu continues to cater to tall skinny girls when adding a size and few extra inches as an option would make everyone happy May 21, 2013
Loved, Bought Another, Hem Unstitched After 2 Uses I bought this skirt in black and fell in love with it. The shorts don't ride up and all the pockets are great and hold everything I need for running (though it annoys me that tennis ball pockets are always stitched in upside down, making them useless to anyone who doesn't play tennis - this is not unique to Lulu, I know, it has just always irked me. Tennis balls can go in a right-side-up pocket, but my iPhone can't go in an upside-down pocket. Just saying.) Silly tennis pocket aside, I loved this skirt so much that I wanted to get another one. My size was sold out online in every color but white, so I was ecstatic when I tracked a pinkelicious one down in the downtown Boston store on Sat, 5/4. I have since worn it on two runs, one about 4 miles and one 6.5 - not even 11 miles total, and have washed it twice. The seam around the gripper tape on one of the legs has come completely unstitched about 1/3 of the way around the leg, so that the grippy part just hangs down now and is useless (see picture). I'm bringing it to my local store in hopes of exchanging it, but I really loved the pink and don't want white :/ May 14, 2013
