Sheer shorts
I am usually very pleased with all the products from lululemon but I can't help but be disappointed by these shorts. They are sheer. The only way to wear them is to have white or skin colored underwear underneath. I have been reading similar reviews regarding sheerness in other lulu products as well. Why is this a problem at all?? I was told that it is a problem with my particular shorts but I find that hard to believe since there have been other similar reviews. I am so disappointed in lululemons quality lately and hope this all changes quickly for the better.

Great for running & not-so-sweaty yoga
I'm 5'7" 118lbs and wear a 4 in these shorts. I like the comfortable fit & the light compression. I have worn these running and love them because they don't ride up like the regular Groove Shorts do. I also like them for yoga for this same reason. However, bear in mind that if you have a sweaty vinyasa practice, your exposed knees can cause slipping in certain balancing poses like crow or hurdler's. Not sure if this is a factor in hot/bikram style yoga. Not a deal-breaker by any means, but something to keep in mind.

Great Shorts
I bought these for the longer length and I love them. I am 5 ft 3 in and these come to right above my knee. They are the perfect length for me.. as I wanted them to cover my legs. I mainly wear them for boot camp and also running. Very flattering for me and I love the groove fit.

Typically I don't purchase "tall" items (5'7", 135#) but preferred the length of the tall Groove short. Have to say that I don't like the length - for me still not long enough at mid-thigh. Wanted length to be closer to knee. In regards to the fit, I have several other "Groove" pieces and love how they make my body look - these shorts don't offer the same look. It's my fault for assuming they would be just like Groove pants & capris. I still wear them but don't feel great in them. :)

I see London, I see France....
Just received my shorts. The fit and length were perfect exactly what I wanted. However, what I did not want was for everyone to see my underwear anytime I bend over. I am extremely disapointed in these.
When did it become company policy that I should have to do a downward dog test everytime I buy a pair of bottoms to see if they are sheer ? Maybe you should start doing the downward dog test before you release the items to the public. So disappointed. Up until now I have always been a happy loyal lulu customer, but this is the second time I have found this problem. And yes I am wearing the right size. Please do your own downward dog so I don't have to!

Great shorts for someone with a muscular build
Prior to wearing these shorts, I have been wearing regular running shorts. My quads are muscular and regular running shorts are less than comfortable because they ride up. These shorts are awesome. They are so soft, stay place on my quads, and they are a great length.

Great for spin!
I bought these shorts for spin. They are wonderful! They don't ride up, provide great coverage and are just snug enough but not so snug that they cut off my circulation. I find that because I sweat so much in spin class, crops are a bit too hot. But speed shorts and boogie shorts (which I wear for running) do not feel so great when you've got a saddle inbetween your legs -just sayin. ANYway...great shorts, fit perfectly, not see thru, no camel toe. Perfect! For reference, I'm 5'5' and 125 lbs. The size 4 (my usual size) were perfect - so I found they fit TTS.

Absolutely amazing!
Just ran the Chicago Marathon in these shorts. These babies are incredible! Never rode up my leg, provided great support, and DIDN'T give me a muffin top!! Hollaaa!

Nice length, cute color, TOO revealing
I'm 5'2 with short legs. I wear a size 6. These seemed to fit true to size. The length was just perfect for me. They came to right above my knee, which is where I wanted them. However, they are way too revealing. As mentioned in a previous review, you have to be very careful about what color panties you wear or they will show through. I also have trouble with dimples, and unlike every other Lulu pant/crop that I have, and I have WU, Astro's, Groove, Gather and Crow, and lots of others, these show the dimples. I'm only going to wear these under a skirt-which was actually shown in a picture on Lulu's web site. Along with color of underwear, be careful of the type. I wear a lace type pantie from Victoria Secret and had to be careful to make sure that they were laying totally flat or you could see the bump through the pants too. If these were a light color, I'd understand more, but these are red. I have also bought a pair of Wonder Under's in a color and have the same issue. I thought it was because the WU's are thinner. Didn't think I'd have the trouble with Groove shorts. Anyway, I wouldn't recommend these because of the see through issue. It took forever going to the bathroom just making sure my underwear was absolutely flat. don't really like g-strings to work out in as they can get painful, but a g-string would probably work best-a nude color one. I wonder if Lululemon is trying to save money by cheapening their products. For price of Lulu's clothing, they shouldn't be see through unless they are meant to be-like tanks in the circle mesh.

LOVE!
These shorts are amazing. I wear them out running, and they stay put the entire time. I'm not tall (~5'5"/5'6"), but I prefer these to the regular length reverse groove shorts. It's nice to have a little coverage once in a while, instead of short shorts. I'm 118lbs, and I grabbed a size 6 to prevent muffin-top. I would definitely recommend these, no matter your height!
