why we made this

We wanted an all-sport short to keep us covered while we're doing squats, lunges and practising asana of every kind. We made these out of luon fabric to have four-way stretch and wick away moisture when we work up a sweat. A reversible design means getting dressed in the dark is a snap.

Great shorts I bought these in bright pink which reverse to a light pink in the store. They are the perfect length for me since I hate short shorts. There is no sheerness here and only slight adjustments, but thats normal for me in any type of short. June 10, 2013
Almost I bought these on sale and while they're cute, the colour discrepancy was pretty bad (viewing on both iphone and macbook - the pink in real life was much brighter than pictured, if you google Lululemon pinkalicious you'll get an idea of the difference). The shorts are super comfy and the luon is lovely and soft. I have no sheerness issues and they feel thick to me, although mine are reversible. I would NOT purchase these if you're a runner, my god. I ran on the spot and they instantly turn into a bikini, although at least not a cheeky bikini as with the boogie shorts. But they're fine for yoga or just mucking about. Just a side note - remember when Lulu got so few negative reviews they would personally respond to each one with a comment and follow up? ... Good times... June 6, 2013
Love fit but. I love the fit and look of these shorts when standing. When walking, boxing or taking a class I do feel the need to constantly adjust the crotch. Once they stretch a bit the problem is not so bad. Lululemon needs to work on this problem. June 1, 2013
Consider downsize and only wear same colour undies I was excited getting this one after reading so many good review... I didnt feel as positive :( for the following reasons: LOOSER than usual - I am normally a 6 in lulu but the six in these shorts seemed a bit loose I would consider downsizing but I don't have time to go and exchange SEETHROUGH - I bought the coral pink shorts with the white/grey band. The picture model makes it look opaque to me.. I when I tried it on I had white undies with blue stripes.... everything was visible! Tried pale pink undies (same shade as the pants) and it was fine... I dunno if it is common sense but would have been nice if someone pointed this out.. My purpose of buying these were to be as undershorts for my jujitsu pants - these will function as undershorts but I wouldn't wear this on its own. May 31, 2013
love to reverse! I really love the reversible feature - i feel like i own two pairs of shorts for one. they are a bit shorter than i expected when i got them in the mail, but they still work great for sweaty yoga and workouts. I would have to note that they are not lined, which can make some panty/thong lines a problem in these. I have to carefully choose my thongs before throwing these on, thats why 4stars from me. Otherwise, love the material, colors, and fit! May 24, 2013
love these shorts but... I really wish lululemon would bring back the spinerette shorts. Not as short as these and not as long as the bike shorts. The spinerette was just right, perfect I'd say. You do have an older population that just loves your exercise wear, and personally speaking these are a little short! May 21, 2013
Love these shorts! SO comfy, practical and CUTE :D I love these shorts! I use them for MMA where I am kickboxing and grappling, and these are so comfy and provide coverage perfectly. I find that while they do ride up a bit, it doesn't bother me at all and all my "bits" stay covered. (I don't know what kind of shorts WOULDN'T ride up while rolling and scooting and flailing on the ground though :p). I bought them in the bleached coral colour with the white kind of band, and I love love LOVE the colour. They aren't see through and I really love the pastel palette because I can achieve my goal of looking like rainbow ice-cream while I work out. ;) April 26, 2013
decent length short tights... I wanted to try a short tight that wouldn't ride up badly as i've had bad experiences with short tights from other brands (blockout and brasilfit, i'm pointing at you!). For someone who wanted a mid thigh length, these fit the bill. These shorts are best for floor based exercises but not RPM/Cycle classes as it has a tendency to ride up (speaking form experience). These ones still ride up a little but not as badly as other 'short tights' i've had in the past. However i have one short (full price) that i bought earlier this year and the material felt thinner than the two that i bought on sale. I questions the quality of the short and am still undecided if i want to buy anymore.. April 21, 2013
Great length, rides up a little This is the perfect length short. They have a great feel to them and I can wear them doing any sports activity which i love! Only issue I seem to have with them is that they stretch easily and ride up. I got a size 4, this is what i wear in every other bottom and they almost feel too big but I cant go down a size.
