not really shorts....
I wouldn't really say these are shorts. Even for short-shorts they are extremely skimpily itty bitty. They look more like swim bottoms (like how they are pictured). I'd recommend this for at-home practice, but I personally would not flaunt these in public since there's a bit chance of crotch exposure! They are really comfy, stretchy, and soft though!

Perfect....for the beach!
Let me just start by saying that I would NEVER wear these shorts to yoga. There is simply not enough coverage in the crotch. I'd get kicked out of class!!! That being said, they are PERFECT as bikini bottoms! I bought two pairs with the matching sports bra and it looks just like a bikini! When worn as a bikini bottom, these shorts could even be considered "modest" because they fit like boy shorts. I'm glad I saw them on sale and took a chance!
Some notes:
Fits tts...I'm a size 4, athletic build, 125 lbs and 5'8" and the four fits perfectly without any awkward muffin top issues.

Not enough fabric on the crotch area
This shorts fit perfectly except, there is simply just not enough fabric on the crotch area. I was extremely conscious and not being able to do full pose of STANDING SEPARATE LEG STRETCHING POSE, STANDING BOW PULLING POSE, HEAD TO KNEE POSE AND STRETCHING POSE during my Bikram practice because I knew that my crotch was showing. Besides that, this pants and top are great. It gives me a great figure and the top is very flattering. I wanted to buy a second outfit but with this "tiny" issue I guess I wont be able to. Sad to give it a 1 star since I waisted $100!

LOVE more than boogie shorts
i like how there isnt a piece in the middle to get all bunched up. they are deff a size up item but i love the colors and hope all go on sale hehe they are awesome! i think ill buy some more :D

Love these
I actually bought these as a swimsuit bottom and they are great. Comfortable with no butt ride up and no high cut hips which I hate.
They do run small though. I usually wear a 6 in lulu bottoms but I got these in an 8. Sucks that I paid full price and they are now on WMTM for half the price :(

Worst purchase I have ever made from Lulu
I ordered these online with a friend in a consolidated order. I am usually a very consistent size 6. I'm doing my 300RYT in California all year and knew portions of it were going to be done at a heated studio so wanted to add to my hot yoga wardrobe.
I was disappointed to say the least when I tried these on. They gave me an extra butt and not in a good way, not to mention muffin top. Not pretty.
No big deal except when I tried to return them in San Francisco the store manager wouldn't refund the entire purchase price because I didn't have the receipt. Instead I only got $29 back. Her rationale for this was that they didn't have any in store so she would only refund the sale value.
When I went to another Lulu store in LA to look for a different style of shorts all they had were these shorts available. I was a little irritated to find out I could have gotten a full refund there.
I literally spend thousands of dollars on Lulu every year. It's kind of sad that I coudn't get a full refund for the one item I have ever tried to return.

Tiny Shorts
Great fitting shorts. Not baggy or too tight where your top chub hangs over the seams. Surprisingly flattering, appearance on hanger is deceiving. Comfortable and perfect for squatting and fast intense movements. Stays in place with no bunching in the front hip creases or riding up in back exposing excess under buttcheeks.

Hot for yoga
I LOVE these shorts. I do hot yoga and these were perfect for class. They do not ride up or fold down so you can really focus on your practice. It would be nice to have a little extra fabric in the crotch area but for a little more coverage but they were fine for me, I didn't have any wardrobe malfunctions in class. Comfy and move with you, I will be buying another pair!

Great Shorts for Pole Fitness
I bought these shorts to use for my pole fitness classes and love them! I do find that there is not as much coverage through the crotch area as other reviews have said, but I still found they covered everything and stayed in place great! Did not have any problems using them for my workout :) I really like the shorts that Lulu had out around Christmas time, similar shape (I forget the name - but I bought the ones in aqua and black) - I found those fit a bit better! If you could bring them back that would be amazing!

Not enough coverage
I agree whole heartedly with the last reviewer. TRY and do triangle in bikram and see if you don't open your self up to the world! I can't imagine why you would have such a small gusset. I wear all sorts of small shorts by many different brands and all of the crotch areas are atleast double in size!! Please bring back some of the older shorts that took this into consideration that were made specifically for hot yoga!!
