More gripper elastic
I was all excited about these shorts when I saw that it had gripper elastic. For some reason, I just assumed what was at the waist would be around the legs as well. That's my biggest issue - shorts riding up. My boogie shorts fit great the first time I wore them but then it seems like the leg opening stretches out, and then they start their slide up. Very uncomfortable and no one needs to see that. I normally wear an 8 in boogie or reverse groove shorts, but I would wear a 10 in these. But they will be going back - the reason I wanted to love them was the gripper elastic around the legs.
I know it has been done on previous lululemon shorts - please bring back the gripper elastic around the thighs.

Sizing up may work better
These shorts looked and felt v snug out of the bag. I didnt really like that the waistband and leg opening had this sticky tape on it. But after wearing to one bikram class, i realise the stickiness helps to keep the shorts in place. I still feel it's a tad small, and reordered in a 6. i normally wear a 4 in most lulu's, my hip is 35.5 inch. Nice for bikram though.

Pole-fect coverage
Although indicated for yoga these, stay-put little beauties, worked wonderfully for me during pole fitness...they don't cover much (ideal for moves requiring upper thigh contact) but they stay put!! Feels like a second skin, no pressure anywhere or digging in and the leg opening is just right (no "sausage casing" look)
In case it helps- I'm a solid 5'4" @ 135 lbs and bought a size 6...tiny muffin top but that's my issue not the shorts.
Please make more colours! :)

great shorts
i usually wear a size 4 in everything lululemon, these are my first pair of shorts and i bought a 6. i could've have bought either size really but i felt most comfortable in the 6. i am 5'6 115 lbs. i plan on using these as a beach bathing suit with the free to be bra! they are very comfortable and fit well so i will wear them often i am sure.

Loved them for Bikram
They didn't roll up, stayed perfectly in place, didn't get too heavy with sweat, very comfortable. Would love to buy more in more colors.

5 Star Shorts
These shorts are awesome. I don't really like how they look on the models. but in real life they are great. I agree with the previous reviewer that these don't give you camel toe and stay put during class. The most unexpectedly, amazing part is the rubber area along the waist band which keeps the band from folding over during class. The waist is really comfortable and the rubber doesn't pull on your skin. Also, I wasn't sure if I should size up since some of the hot yoga shorts tend to run small or compress the waist area but these do not give you a muffin top!! I got the spring has sprung/black color combo which is very flattering. Definitely recommend these!

I finally found the PERFECT hot yoga shorts!
I'm a Bikram yoga addict and own several different kinds of short shorts made by different makers (Prana, Nike, Tonic, Mika, other Lulus). They all perform fine but none of them are 100% satisfaction. I've been waiting forever for someone to make shorts likes these.
1. The biggest and BEST difference about these Flip Your Dog shorts is this: there is no seam running down the middle of the front...(good bye camel toe!!).
2. Very short but also has complete coverage no matter what pose you're in.
3. The width of the crotch area is wide enough (think triangle or wind removing pose when your legs are straddled).
4. The rise is not too low and has nice thicker band at the tummy
5. The style is simple without any ties, frills, etc.
6. The silverescent is a bonus.
I'm waiting for more colors so I can purchase more.
These are the PERFECT hot yoga shorts.
