Wunder Under Pant *Sparkle 2.8 5 13 13
not so wunderful anymore The pair of *regular* black wunderunders that I purchased about 5-6 months ago are pilling, see through, keep falling down ( even though they are super snug ), are not 4way stretch, fading, and don't even really look black. I'm so dissapointed... been wearing wundersunders since 2006 or 2007 when they were black as night, stretched for days, looked brand new after a year or even two, and didn't ever fall down or move. I really noticed a decline in the plain black Luon around 2010 winter to 2011. I really wish that lululemon had realised how well they had been making their fabric before then and not changed it. In my opinion they were having quality issues since that time. I still currently own wunderunders from before 2009 that are in better condition than the ones i purchased 5-6 months ago. The feel, look, and, quality are far far better even with being 4 years old. The feel, look, and quality are far far superior. I urge the company to go back and look at their core values they've committed so tirelessly to uphold and see that cutting the quality in the long term will make way for another brand in my closet. These activewear clothes are not the quality anymore that the price reflects. If I wanted cheap leggings that lasted for 5 month I'd go to Target, who incidentally seems to be making better quality leggings than my current wunderunders. I blame this on the company going public, but my question is, why when your company was growing and making money, did you feel you had to sacrifice your quality in order to continue making money? Bring back the wunderfull fabric you are known for and my luon addiction will be right back where it was, buying new ones every week or so ;) Until then I give this product a 1 star :( Please please bring back the REAL Luon!!!!!! pilling I bought a pair of black wonder unders five months ago, i barely wear them, maybe once every two weeks. They've already started pilling.. I never put them in the dryer, and i dont even wear them to the gym (they're my "running errand pants). I've purchased yoga pants from Target that feel better quality than this pair. Very disappointed, for the price this is unacceptable!! I've been reading a lot about how LuLuLemons quality has diminished but now i'm started to agree :( March 20, 2013
Review for NORMAL Wunder Unders with designed band I LOVE my Wunder Unders BUT I think I am paying A LOT of money for these pants and for them to have some strings coming loose from the stitching. Please Help because i want these pants to last for a while. SML (SAVE MY LULUS!!!) March 20, 2013
Okay (Non-Sparkle) This review is for the non-sparkle (plain black) wunder under pants...it seems as if their website has mislabeled several of their products? I have two of these yoga pants and they aren't as see through as some of my other yoga pants. However, these collect lint, hair, and pill LIKE CRAZY. The fabric had pilled and snagged after a few weeks of having them and I expected a better quality from the price I paid...this wasn't an issue in any of my other cheaper yoga pants though they were of different fabrics. Overall, they are definitely satisfactory but I wouldn't pay over $60 for these pants unless the quality was increased. March 19, 2013
My favorite glam-unders! I cannot say enough positive things about these pants! I love love love the subtle sparkle (what girl doesn't like something sparkly? ;-) and the material/weave feels just a bit lighter and tighter than the traditional Luon - and what girl doesn't like a little more 'suck-me-in' at her hips? Plus they wick-away the sweat during yoga so no unsightly sweat spots in all the wrong places! I glammed up my black sparklies at night with a ruffle top and knit blazer and a hot pair of booties and received compliments all around I never felt like (or looked like) I was dressed for yoga. So versatile... I only wish I had purchased multiples in every color/length (I did purchase one pair per but kick myself for not buying more). Lululemon: PLEASE have a return engagement of my new favorite wunders! March 2, 2013
Uh Oh! I love these leggings so much. But...mine got a small hole in the knee! One of my friends said that if I talked to you guys, I could maybe get some new ones? Do I just need to visit my local store? February 11, 2013
Kinda In Love I tried these on in store and decided I needed the size up. I loved the color so much that, despite the mostly negative reviews, I ordered them as an early bday present. They do run a tad tight but the color is exceptional and I enjoy the sparkle. They are not sheer IMO and, as long as the quality stays true, I'm a happy customer. February 7, 2013
Not the same as my last pair I have a pair of wonder under's from probably too years ago. While they were not perfect, I loved them. They felt like a second skin, and I loved the feeling of the fabric. They were starting to pill badly at the ankles so I decided to get a new pair. I went to try them on on my normal size 6 and they were see through. I am kind of in-between sizes (the waist is a bit tight on the 6 I own), so I decided to try a size 8. I got the black pair with the hint of sparkle. In the store those did not appear see through, but when I ride an exercise bike, I still see it show through at the knee. The worst part about them is that they side down my waist during yoga, running, or just when I am wearing them out as leggings. They no longer have the second skin feeling, and I still wear my old pair more often despite the horrible pilling. It took spent over a year finding yoga pants that looked good on me and my search was over when I found lulu. I will still buy tops from here, but I have started looking for a new company for yoga pants, and am frustrated I have to start my search over. January 30, 2013
Lackluster "Sparkle" I wanted these to be amazing, but sadly, they're just not. The sparkle is really more of a sheen, that quite honestly just makes the pants look sort of shiny. I love the idea of glitter. In my world, you can have too much, but I can appreciate subtle glitter accents. These pants totally let down. Lots of sheen and shine, not so much sparkle. On top of the disappointment in the fabric, after one wear and one wash (using lulu specifications) a small hole developed near the knee. If you look closely you can see the fabric literally just came apart. I even checked my washer and dryer to make sure no sharp objects somehow got in there. I will definitely be returning these. I like the sparkle version I was surprised and liked the sparkle version. The sparkle is very subtle (more like a slight shimmers that only appears when the light hits it a certain way). Otherwise the overall look of the luon is more matte and slightly thicker and stiffer than the regular luon which I prefer. It also seemed less sheer than the regular luon. The black swam is a very dark purple colour - like an eggplant color and is quite nice. The sparkle luon has a little less stretch so it fits a little snugger. I wouldn't say a whole size smaller. I stuck with my same size but might have been okay to go up a size as well to allow for fatter days. I didn't find the luon scratchy at all. And they didn't stretch out much at all after wearing.
