We wear these pants on our way to the studio (and in class when we forget our yoga shorts).

why we made this

We designed these pants to keep us comfortable on the way to and from the yoga studio and gave them two-way stretch and a drawcord at the hem so we can cinch up the legs and turn these pants into crops to practice in them in a pinch. The inherently-wicking Swift fabric helps us stay cool and dry.

Not for average height women Nice pants. Love the drawstring at the ankle but they were way to long. I'm 5'5", a very average height. The sales associate said if I were to hem them I would lose the drawstring. What is the point in offering an alteration service if you can't maintain the integrity of the design? So now all the wonderful things the drawstring design can offer are not an option. Hmmm, I think I should get a discount. Come on Lulu! You are better than this. May 19, 2013
In love with the studio pant!! I just ordered my first pair of studio pants and I cannot say enough good things about this pant. I originally ordered them in a size 8 but they were way too big!! My size 6 fits amazing!! Very comfortable and flattering. They are made very long so you will probably have to get them hemmed. Since I don't live near a lulu store, they told me to email them a copy of the receipt and they would cover the cost! Thank you lulu I am very happy with my purchase !! May 17, 2013
Love, love, love all of my Studio Pant II pants. I have them in almost every color and sometimes multiples of the same color! What I have found now though, is that I need to size down. I absolutely love the bright blue and the seafoam green color and have both in a 4, but really need a 2. Can't seem to find any 2's anywhere. Will you be re-stocking these colors in the size 2? Disappointed with waistband I am very disappointed with the waistband of the INKWELL studio pants. During the past 3 years I have owned 7 pairs of studio pants in various shades and never had any problems. As soon as, I tried on the INKWELL pants there was a noticeable difference in the fit and material. The fit was larger and the material thinner than the other pairs I owned. The waistband soon started to curl on the front of the pants and looks terrible. There is definitely a problem with the manufacturing of INKWELL colour. I would like to know if Lululemon has rectified the problem as I won't order another pair, (that goes for the crops as well), until I do. May 16, 2013
Very comfortable, but waistband bends! The pants are super comfortable, but the waistband bends after the first wear! I'm a little disappointed to spend this amount of money on these pants to have the waistband bend and not sit right. May 15, 2013

comfy and practical These pants are comfortable and extremely practical. Great to and from. They wear well, however some pilling has occurred near the waist band, not sure if this is from sweaters? But overall great pants, can't wait to buy a second pair! May 12, 2013
Waistband I am so sad about the drop in quality! My waistband is starting to curl and not lay flat. Just like the other complaints. These pair were given as a replacement for my other pair where the stitching on the waistband was coming undone. This replacement pair felt different and fit bigger. I could tell the quality was inferior. I was hoping the waistband would not curl like the other reviews. Please go back to the OLD waistband Lulu! I have not purchased so many items over the past year due to complaints about quality decline. May 11, 2013
Horrible Waistband! I am greatly disappointed with this product! At first I loved the pants, they're comfy, have a slight stretch to them and just move really well. But that was short lived, the elastic in the waistband has started to curl and roll under. I've spent a fair amount of time fiddling with it trying to fix it and get it to lay flat but I've deemed it hopeless! For how expensive these pants I'd expect a lot better quality - this is ridiculous! I've only washed these pants once, I washed on delicate and laid flat to air dry, so there really shouldn't be an issue with the elastic! Paying extra for "quality" seems to be a complete waste since Lulu's product is FAR from quality. I plan on only buying headbands from lulu, I will look elsewhere for my athletic attire. FYI, Nordstroms carries pants that are VERY similar to these and cheaper! At least there you get excellent service and you can make returns anytime, unlike Lulu's pathetic 30 day, tags attached and receipt required policy! May 10, 2013
One in every color! I absolutely LOVE the studio pant II and have to restrain myself from buying them in every color. The workmanship is high quality and the fabric is the perfect weight. I have two pairs so far and they are my go to pant for just about everything. Light-weight and comfortable, yet stylish enough to wear around town. I do not go on any trip without bringing them with me . . . I might just have to go and purchase another pair this weekend! May 10, 2013
