comfy comfy!
I used to work for lululemon, so I know they stand by their quality which is comforting given some of the reviews on these pants lately. Doesn't mean I want to spend $110 on a pair of pants that are going to be damaged especially since I don't like close to a store.
I have had NO issues! I should have bought a pair WAYYYY earlier. They are VERY comfortable and they look great on. As an instructor, I tend to wear tighter fitting clothes as not to get in the way of demonstrating technique but these are easy to pull on over my luon crops since they ahve a bit of stretch. wearing to and from the gym, out for errands and casually.
Love the drawstring, too bad you can't keep it when hemming (pants are very long), but overall a great buy! Can't wait for my next pair!

Terrible quality fabric
I loved the look of these pants, but after wearing them once a week for a couple of months the fabric is covered in pills, so much so that they look too sloppy to wear outside the house. I expected much better quality for the price!

low rise inappropriately low
When I first saw these pants I thought they would be perfect. Great looks, great cut, great comfort. However, once I put them on I became completely disheartened. They wouldn't stay up on me. The rise was so low the waistband wouldn't stop rolling down so that my underwear (which, trust me, are not the same underwear your granny wears) would show. I am not the most lean, fit person in the world but I am not overweight either so there is no reason for this to be happening. I would not recommend these pants to anyone. Come on, Lululemon, increase the rise on your pants already!! There are those of us out there who are not inclined to show off our underwear but still want to go to the gym!! Unless the styles change, I highly doubt that I will ever waste money on lululemon pants again.

Not worth the price
I have 2 pairs of these in the lined. One pair is size 6 and one pair is size 8. The size 8 is the same size as the size 6. I find it really hard to decide on a size to order, when the sizing is so inconsistent. Also, the waistbands start out very comfy and firm feeling, then after a couple of washes it rolls! This is very uncomfortable when you have to keep straightening it out. It just becomes so flimsy. Also, one pair's bottom hem broke! I do not yank hard on the ties when I tie them. As a matter of fact, I hardly ever retie them once they are tied. So, I was very disappointed when I went to put them on this morning and the tie was broken. I wash all my lululemon clothes separately and on gentle because of how expensive they are, so it is not because of not taking good care of them! For the price of lululemon, I would expect better quality and workmanship!!

I bought the white lined studio pants a few months back and they are very comfortable. This is my second pair of studio pants, my first pair is the unlined version from a couple years ago. I have to say the fit has definitely changed, they seem a little bit longer and a bit baggier than my first pair. I have washed them since buying them and haven't had the rolled waist band problem. I also kept the waist band tied while washing, so I wonder if that played a factor.
I'm a size 2 in all lulu pants. for reference I'm 4'11 and 92 lbs. I bought my usual size 2 in these pants as well. I love the drawstring feature on these, since I can (and will) pull them up to capri length as the weather gets warmer. They're great for teaching pilates, as my studio is well air conditioned in the summer.

Not Impressed
I'm so incredibly disappointed in these pants. When I tried them on I thought I'd died and gone to heaven- they're insanely cozy and comfy, but they also look really cute and flattering on. I bought them despite being a little put off by the price hike (these were $108 and were re-priced at $118). I LOVED these and put them on the instant I got home with them, and have worn them a few times now.
Unfortunately, after 1 WEEK, they're showing wear already. The biggest issue is the waistband- tiny threads are coming though and the waistband is rolling inwards and bunching (see pics!). Even when I smooth it out, it bunches back up immediately. It's uncomfortable and I keep trying to fix it. It also makes unflattering bunchiness at the waist under my shirts.
I'm really disappointed Lulu. If you're going to charge $118 + tax (that's $135 in Nova Scotia!!) they better be stellar quality! It's NOT ok that they're bunching up after only a few wears!! What on earth is happening with the quality?! I have 3 pairs of the unlined version from 2 years ago and they're all like new!
I definitely don't recommend these pants. While they are really comfy and I find the liner very soft and warm, $135 is WAY too much money for pants that don't hold up well. If you're planning to buy them anyway, I would suggest sizing down. I buy these in a size 4 and they fit perfectly- I wear a 6 in groove pants, wunder unders, luxtreme run crops and shorts.

very comfortable pants
i own 2 pairs of the studio pant II with liner. i really like the comfort and cut of the pants and i always get compliments when i wear them. the only thing i've noticed is that after a few washes, the waistband starts to roll slightly. a bit annoying but otherwise very happy.

Better than Awesome!!!
I am new to LuLu. In the past few months I have become totally sold on the entire studio collection. The capris, the pants both lined and unlined. They are not just for the young crowd. I am 64, 5"9", weigh 117. Size 4 fits perfectly. I currently am the very proud owner of two paris of capris, one lined pant and five un-lined pants. The quality, workmanship and style is great. They wash well. They are great for the gym, around the house and even a quick trip to the store. Now iI just wish designers would come up with a few tops for the older crowd.

Literally improving my quality of life...
I have a chronic bladder illness, it's quite severe, there is no cure and I'm in pain 24/7. Why am I telling you this? Well you see...most of my pain is in the lower stomach area, so I gave up wearing jeans and other restricting clothing long time ago...unfortunately. Turns out it's not so easy to find comfy, suuuper soft, yet stylish pants, that won't restrict/push on tummy and therefore add unnecessary pain. These however are PERFECT! Yes they are made big, so I recommend you size down. I am 5'11, 175 lbs, usually wear size 10 Lulu, but get size 8 in these. They are soft on the stomach, they are long enough for us tall girls and they look great too. I'm happy...hope you will be too.

Shouldn't need this much work for $120
I don't like to spend money on 'designer clothes' that aren't worth the $
These were waay to pricy but i was looking for a pair of pants to have for the colder weather aside from my Bally yoga pants and i wanted something looser fitting.
At first the studio pants seemed to be just what i was looking for buuut knowing how unforgiving Lulu's return policy is, i decided to wear them around the house as a test run to see how they'd perform.
For the Record, I'm 5'5'' and 140 lbs; I've got a short torso, am quite hippy, have a crossfit/ yoga butt and BIG thighs...
I bought the 6 (like all of my lulu shorts/ skirts) and it was roomy, but that was a nice change from skin tight yoga pants... but i am tooo short for these pants so like everyone else, I had to use the string on the bottom to shorten the pants. After doing so, the fabric didn't stay in place on my leg and the bottom of the pant kept falling to my ankles, causing me to trip on the extra fabric
The drawstrings are a nice feature but the quality of the drawstring is POOR! It deforms/ stretches out in basically 1 use? (after tightening it 1 time) which was not cool on a pair of $120 + pants.
Also, when I took them off after just a few hours of wear, THEY WERE PILING!!! WTF?!?!
I also asked about hemming and whether or not they could keep the drawstring in the pants, but sadly, they could not. As someone who knows a little bit about sewing, I know that it doesn't take much to keep a drawstring. (I'd do it myself but I'm not too good yet)
As another reviewer said, the lined ones aren't as great and are a bit scratchy...
Yes these are comfortable, however, for this price, there should be no BUTS about them; they should be worth the asking price, but clearly are not!
I took them back and would like to own a pair IF they came out with ones that fit us shorter girls OR if the seamstress learned how to keep the drawstring, but I don't think Lulu is listening to what we're all saying here.
Ladies, be wise about how and where you spend your hard earned $$...
