why we made this

When the temperatures drop, it's nice to have a pair of pants that work as an outer layer in addition to being a key piece on their own. These pants are made of Stretch French Terry, which is soft and fleecy against our skin - perfect for the gym or popping over shorts after an intense run or Bikram class.

On the run? These are your beast friend! I've owned lulu products for over 6 years now, and I love them. I get tired of wearing luon material though. It doesn't feel cozy to me... more workout oriented. I was looking for a pair of pants I could kick back in, and be cozy! I've two little men under two.. so I don't often have enough time to get ready. Showering after a long run and throwing these cozy pants on is great! My husband also loves how my bum looks in these pants.. best yet? They're made out of a perfect blend of cotton stretchyness! I wish they made more colours... GET MORE SIZES IN! Also, I made a slit in the back of the waistband and cut the thick elastic out.. So much more comfier! February 1, 2012
Nice Pants I received a pair of these pants for xmas and I really like them. They're very comfortable and they keep their shape well. The only thing that I'm not thrilled about is the length of these pants. I'm 5"1 so I have to use the cinchable drawcord when I wear these pants and I find that they end up looking quite baggy at the bottom. I take an 8 in the groove pant but in these pants I decided to go up to a 10 for extra comfort and I'm glad that I did. I think if I had ordered an 8 they would have been a little too snug. Super comfy Love these sweatpants! Warm and comfortable for those cold winter days when you want to sit on the couch and snuggle. My only complaint is that they are made way too long. Even after I made the long drive and got hemming done at the store they were still too long. It wasnt worth the drive to submit them again as i don't live near a lulu store so I have to pin up the bottoms every time I wear them. Also because they were hemmed i lost the drawstring at the bottom. Aside from that, I love these pants!!! January 23, 2012
Not what I expected I don't think the pictures that accompany these pants on the website reflect the product at all. From the photo, I thought I'd receive loose-fitting pants to wear to and from the gym in the winter. Not so. These fit almost like leggings at the top and are loose and billowy below the knee. It's like two different styles of pants were fused together into an unflattering combination. To top it off, they're very long. I'd only be able to wear them with the ankles cinched, which was not at all my intention. Many other reviewers have mentioned that they bought these one or two sizes larger than their normal size - I think the product photos should better represent the snug fit of these pants. Love these pants! I bought these pants in the summer and I absolutely love them. I always receive compliments from friends when wearing them. The fabric is so soft. I much prefer it to the luon. I also like how the pants come in at the bottom. Its a different look from the other lulu pants I own. I would highly recommend them and think you won't be disappointed. They are my favourite pants from lulu. Having said that, I have not worked out in them. They look best with shorter t-shirts because the drawstring is on the outside. They still look brand new. LOVE LOVE! I JUST recieved these pants this morning, and as soon as i took them out of the bag i havent taken them off. I just came back online to see if they have more colors! I usually wear a size 2-4 (lulu pants) and i bought these ones in a 4 and they fit perfect! I love the drawstring at the bottom. it makes it easier to adjust for length so they dont drag on the ground (otherwise they would) Very cute! love them!! :) January 12, 2012
Thoughts on sizing, quality, and wearability I bought this pant in-store yesterday and have been wearing them since I got home. I love them! So far, no chafing and I like how the drawcords were designed. I like to wear them down and tighten them a little to shorten the length, but they're pretty cute gathered below the knee too! They are quite warm and cozy, but the material is light enough to where I can see myself wearing these pants nearly year-round. Love the drawcords at the waist. I've found that they're easily hidden under longer tops if I just fold them into the card/key pocket. As for sizing, I'm currently somewhere between a 4 and a 6 (5'3", 140 lbs., somewhat muscular but in an average sort of way) and actually ended up preferring the size 4. It's quite stretchy - almost like a slightly thicker legging material - and hugs my butt but skims my thighs and falls straight down the rest of the leg. Super flattering! Then again, I have more of a dancer's physique and my thighs aren't as muscular as maybe a runner's thighs. It might just depend on your body type and how you plan to wear the pants. By the way, I was a little skeptical about how well they'd keep their shape, but even after running errands and sitting at the computer and sleeping in these pants, I still have yet to notice any significant bagging-out anywhere - pretty impressive. Comfy, yet still cute What cute pants! I got them in the green camo color for Christmas. The french terry is so soft and snuggly warm, but are fitted in the butt and have a nice relaxed fit through the thighs. They look great with my new cuddle up jacket! I get compliments all the time, and were great on my flight from LA to NY. Only thing is, you will probably have to go up a size as they run tight for some reason. I usually get a 2 or a 4 in the groove, wunder, and astro pants, but I got a 6 in these so they would be looser through the leg. They do run long, but as I am quite tall they worked out just great in the length (could be a problem if you are shorter). Overall, excellent choice, and a good price! January 4, 2012
I love these! I got them for Christmas, and they are perfect for anything. The only thing I thought was weird though was the pants and the bag they came in had a really strange, strong smell, but it came out in the wash. Wish I could own 3 pairs of these pants! January 2, 2012
