Delightful pants!
I was a bit skeptical about the Groove Pant due to the high price but decided to give it a try as I haven't been able to find a well-fitting pair of yoga pants for a long time. I'm so happy to have tried these on! The best pair of yoga pants I've owned; super cute, flattering, comfy, and definitely not see-through!! Highly recommend the Groove Pant to anyone looking for function and fashion! In love and will be buying the crop version as soon as it's back in stock!

Still see thru and not made in tall
I went to the store and tried these on as they are so cute on the model in the store. Big mistake. Not only are they still see thru but also not long enough for me. I am sorry that I am 5"10 and have some curve to me and not a 5"4 stick figure. (Sorry to those who are 5'4 as I don't mean to offend you) This is about the millionth time in the last 4 months that I have been extremely disappointed in something not coming in tall. Please lulu think about all of us over 5"4 as we are a major customer base of yours.

Horror
I went to Lululemon store to try them on and they are, unfortunately, horrible. They are comfy, but that's it. I tried size 6, 8 and 10. They look the same and all three were see through. I sized up because I wanted to make sure it wasn't my fault (usually I wear 6/8).
Colors are cute.

It's a New Groove, but I'm still in LOVE!!:)
I just bought a new pair of groove pants in store this week, first pair available for purchase, since the whole sheerness thing.
They passed, NO SHEERNESS here!!
They are different from my grooves from 7 years ago, but I still love them. I love the tighter knee and bell flare at the bottom. I am 5'7 and the regular length is perfect for me, but everyone does have different preferences, so it's great that lulu offers free hemming.
Yes dog hair and all that fun stuff can stick to them, but that happens with my old pairs as well, so it doesn't bother me, I'm just careful with them just like I am with my work dress pants and any other clothing that can collect hair easily. If you have pets and it drives you nuts when hair sticks to your clothes and stuff, then these are for sure not the pants for you.
All in all they are still great for me!!:)

Is this really the new luon?
I hope I'm mistaken and this is NOT the "new and improved" batch because I still do have faith this company can eventually restore their original quality. However, if these pants are any indication, the turnaround has yet to happen.
Let's start with the positives. They were not obscenely sheer on me the way In the Flows or some Luxtremes have been. Only in a deep bend can you see my flesh and I rip out the tag anyway.
What really upsets me is the FEEL of the fabric against my skin. It is a lot scratchier than the luon from even just 2 years ago. It also feels less elastic, as in I would worry it would bag out after wearing a lot. I didn't take them so I don't know about pilling but I wouldn't be surprised given the flimsier fabric.
Btw, I also tried on the Astros (same issue) but I should also warn at least the pair I tried on (black waistband), the inseam was SHORTER than the Groove and from the older Astros I can remember. Might save you a hem but my taller friends won't be happy about this.

Very very sad and dissapointed
The Groove Pant was my first purchase with Lululemon and I was so excited because I had heard such great things about their clothing. Well when I received these pants I loved the fit, but after washing them a few times they started to pill all over and every single piece of lint and hair sticks to them. Now because I paid a pretty penny for these pants I was extremely careful as to how I washed them... Always in cold water and never put them in the dryer. But now after having them for less than a year I don't even like to wear them. I expected more from a company that has such high praise and high price tags. I will never purchase anything made from Luon again. I really wanted to love them, but they just didn't fit the bill. This one is definitely a loss for me. :(

Sadly disappointed
I was given a gift certificate for Christmas and just recently used it to purchase my first pair of Lulu lemon pants. I am really disappointed with the quality of this product. The fabric piled the first time I wore them and gets worse with each wash. They have been hand washed and laid flat to dry no more than ten times. I have several pairs of yoga pants I purchased for $30 at Superstore four years ago that are in better shape than these newer much more expensive ones. My old ones are not piled at all. I just can't justify paying lulu lemon prices when I can buy a comparable if not better quality product for much less somewhere else. I won't be making any lulu lemon purchases in the future unless the product reviews improve dramatically.

Disappointed
I am disappointed in the new groove pant. I am 5?7 and have always purchased the regular length. They are now too short by an inch, forcing me to purchase the tall and have them hemmed. Not only that, but the rise of the pant sits just under my belly button! Terrible! The fabric is much thinner, but it is like that with every pant style now. I miss the days when lulu was known for the quality of their clothing. Please bring your quality and your old groove pant back!!

Not the same Grooves as before...
These simply are not the same Groove pants as before. These are the opposite of the old Groove pant; unflattering, uncomfortable and...UNFLATTERING! I honestly think wearing tights might be more forgiving. What a shame. Bring back the old, quality Luon! Those were worth 98$. These definitly are NOT. Do not waste your money.

Love The Pants!
I've had my eyes on the Groove Pants for quite some time, but was hesitant to buy them. Most of the reviews online were saying that the fabric was see through and too revealing, that the waist band was odd and that the pants just weren't as good as the old Groove Pants. So I decided to go down to our local LuluLemon and see for myself.
As soon as I tried them on I was in love. Me being quite petite at 5'1'', 120lbs and a size 6, the pants didn't fit perfectly, but LuluLemon offered a free shortening of the pants. I found that the pants were not see through or too revealing, that the waistband fit me perfectly and though the fabric was quite different than the old fabric, it was really comfortable.
When I got them home and began wearing them, I found that the gusset was not in the right position. It was not helping and I found myself making sure that nothing was showing down there throughout the day, but the pants stay in position so nothing was really happening. That was the only issue about the pants that I had.
Overall, the new Groove Pants are fantastic to wear anywhere and are the perfect pants for me. Thank you LuluLemon for creating these wonderfull pants!
