why we made this

Life can move quickly and, when it does, we like to be prepared. We designed this jacket to have our back when we're racing between home, work and our practice. To protect us from Spring showers, we added an oversized hood and coated the Swift fabric with a DWR (Durable Water Repellant) finish.

Love this Jacket This is such a great jacket! its perfect to throw on after a yoga class, the liner inside is so soft! i am 5 8" 135lbs and bought a size 8, i usually were a 6 in jackets and in the scuba hoody but this one was a little tighter on my broader shoulders but all in all a great jacket! Great Buy!! I recently picked up this jacket in the store on a whim. I wasn't in the market for one (since it is already very warm where I live), but I saw/felt the material and had to try it on. I woudn't say the insides are fleece lined, but the material is very cozy and warm. I love it! I am from California and live here during vacations, but I go to school in the Midwest, where the weather is anything but predictable. That's what justified buying this jacket for me...was that I'd be able to wear it at home when it's chilly, and at school during the fall and spring time. Considering most of the recent lulu jackets have been in the $100+ range, I think the price is awesome for what the jacket is. For reference: I am 5'7 with a slender build. I usually go for size 2 in the tighter jackets (forme, stride). I got the size 6, since I want to be able to layer it with other lightweight jackets while I'm at school. The 4 would have worked, but I just like these style of jackets to be roomier. June 9, 2013
not my favourite jacket I am usually a size 4 and tried this jacket on in size 4. The fit was really poor on me, the jacket is very cropped, and it was very boxy, overall, very unappealing. I like the fabric of this jacket, but the fitting is totally off. June 8, 2013
Great everyday jacket! I recently purchased this jacket the other day and I it has been my go to jacket now. I absolutely love the colors that they have and it looks so nice with a pair of shorts, jeans or even my favorite lulu pants. It is very comfortable to wear and keeps me feeling warm but not over heating. With spring/summer finally arriving I plan to keep on wearing this jacket on a regular basis. Also the benefits of zippered pockets is such a convience to not have to worry about losing my keys or phone at any time! June 8, 2013
Totally mixed review I tried both size 4 & 6. For reference I am 5'2", 118lbs. 34C. I had to give the jacket SOME stars because I LOVE the colours, material, length. My favourite is the mellow lemon yellow, that's the one I went with and its just gorgeous. I hope they make more jackets in that colour. I have seen the pop orange and highlighter green one on various women and they are absolutely gorgeous. The material is wonderful! Soft inside, swift material outside... perfect. Love the shorter length. Not everything has to be long and bum covering!! Its the fit where it all went wrong for me. I tried to ignore what bothered me about the jacket - but I couldn't. First of all the size 4 fit better overall, except that the cuff elastics were way too snug. And I have fairly tiny wrists. I dont like to feel the cuffs snug against my wrists. A little breathing space is needed. Plus the liner would pull out through the jacket every time I put my hands through the cuffs and I'd have to tuck them back in - EVERY SINGLE TIME. That shouldn't happen in a $100+ jacket. The size 6 was a conundrum for me. It fit better in the wrists, arms and shoulders, but the waist band did funny things. Its wonderful and wide, but the back of the jacket would sag down and tuck itself in behind the waistband, so that the band was sticking out more at the back. A little hard to explain but it was enough to annoy me that my mid section was looking 'thicker' in this jacket. Next was the chest area. For some reason Lululemon decided to 'ruche' the lulu symbol that is right at the bust so that unless the jacket is tight/snug on you, the bust is, well, saggy. Sadly. It was a weird look that was so not flattering at all. I held onto that size 6 Mellow Lemon jacket for 10 days. Tried it on 10x a day with different pants and shirts underneath. But I just couldn't get over the fact that bottom line-this jacket was not flattering in its fit/style. I would only be keeping it because of the beautiful yellow colour, and because its Lululemon. Cant justify spending $100+. Painfully I returned this jacket and am keeping my fingers crossed that maybe next spring they will fix the issues with The Street to Studio, do it again in yellow and I'm a for-sure customer!! Love this! Kudos to you Lululemon for making such an unbelievable jacket! Perfect for those cool days and nights and when there's a bit of rain. I'm 5'2 and 120 pounds and the size 6 fits me perfectly. I've gotten lots of compliments on this jacket. Highly reccomend! June 4, 2013
love it! i'm on the shorter side, 5"2, so i find most jackets too long therefore being too tight around my hips, but this hoodie/jacket is the perfect length for me! (if you are much taller, it might not work for you)... i like that the style provides light coverage for wind/rain - perfect for spring & cooler summer nights. also like the draw-cords and hood to give me that extra comfort and warmth when needed. fits TTS, i got my usual size 6....i want to make sure others know about the waistband - it will feel really really tight at first, but after a few wears it conforms and it fits just right now... i purchased the pop orange color and have been getting many compliments - its a bit bright but still suits my beige/olive undertone...THANKS LLL! The perfect jacket This is my first lulu jacket and I am hooked. I wear it everyday and it looks good with everything. I am 5'4" and 130lbs (just had a baby). Got a size 8. I am sure it will be too big soon but has been perfect for the transition. May 31, 2013
