why we made this

Life can move quickly and, when it does, we like to be prepared. We designed this jacket to have our back when we're racing between home, work and our practice. To protect us from Spring showers, we added an oversized hood and coated the Swift fabric with a DWR (Durable Water Repellant) finish.

Wear all the time I initially tried this jacket on at my local Lulu store in black because I love my Studio crops. However contrary to the pants that run big( I sized down from size 10 to 8), I had to size up in this jacket and ended up getting the 12. For reference, I'm 5"7, 155lbs, 36D. The lenght is perfect. In the end, I purchased a second jacket in pop orange and got many many compliments!!! May 17, 2013
Long sleeves I just received this jacket and so far I'm undecided. First, I think it runs a bit small... I went a size up for better fit around the belly area. The inside lining of the jacket is unusually long and the sleeves just seem oddly long as well. At first I was looking for the thumb holes, then it would make sense. Also, when I tried to put the jacket on after an especially sweaty yoga class, it was nearly impossible to put the jacket on over sweaty skin. However, I really like the look of the jacket. It's very flattering and stylish. So, I'll keep giving it a try. It's a good "from street" jacket, but not so good for "from studio" :) May 16, 2013
LoveLoveLove I was admiring this jacket from afar online and decided to go and give it a try. I was hesitant to purchase online in my usual size 8 due to some of the reviews. I am glad I tried first. I am normally a size 8 but have a 34D Chest and I ended up choosing the 10. It gave my "Ladies" enough room, without being too baggy or loose everywhere else. I love the wide waistband, I find it quite comfortable and flattering. The elastic cuffs are great, and I quite like the fact that there are no thumb holes, as I find the scubas are always so long and I roll all of their sleeves up. Perfect sized hood, and although the pockets are on the smaller side, they still fit car keys and cards. My only complaint is the price. Lulu definitely needs to take another look and the their quality and prices in the past and adjust one or the other. That being said, I am in love with the overall look and feel of this jacket, and highly recommend :) May 16, 2013
awful quality I have been looking at buying this type of jacket for about 2 years. I finally take the plunge, it was great, until the first wash. I put it in the wash with all my other lulu lemon products and the whole arm shredded. I tried to take it back and she said it was my washers fault and she had seen other jackets do this! Now i'm out $100, not happy and will not be buying anymore sweaters. May 15, 2013
Cute and comfy This jacket is what it is; here are the features that stand out: - the lining inside is really nice and soft. it's not fleece, but it's really soft. - the outer material is not stretchy, though the elastic at the waist and the sleeves compensate for it - fitted at the waist; i would size up for comfort. I'm normally a 4, but the 6 was more comfortable. it does seem to be a bit short, so keep that in mind before you buy it. i like the short jacket because it's cute. - the zippered pockets are on the small side...i can barely fit my iphone 5 in them. - i didn't think the sleeves were too long, but they are hard to roll up. Since I wanted my jacket to be versatile and neutral, I chose the dune color. Green is my favorite color but it was a bit too green and most of my lulu clothes are already colorful so there was no need for a colorful outer layer. It's not quite white, not quite gray. I don't think it's "blah" at all, as the other reviewer stated, but then again we all have our own tastes. Great jacket, I've been wearing it every day, and have even worn it running. Didn't feel like it impeded my motions in any way. I'm rating it a 5 because I actually like the features mentioned, but would understand people who did not like some of them. May 13, 2013
Not sure about this jacket I got the dune color and it seems just blah (it's much cuter in the picture). The sleeve lining is also oddly long. When I put my arms in, there is so much lining that some of it comes out the end of the sleeve. At first I thought there might be thumbholes, but there aren't. Not sure if I just got a defective jacket, so I'm going back to the store to check out another one before I decide whether to keep it. It also doesn't seem terribly water-repellent - I wanted something a little sturdier for rain. May 10, 2013
Adore this jacket!! I LOVE this jacket!! I usually wear a size 4 in Lulu tops but after reading review on a snug fit I ordered a 6 without trying it on, and i'm so happy I did! It fits perfect, not too tight, not too loose, and the arms are the perfect length to fit my longer arms. I bought it in inkwell and it looks good with everything from jeans to yoga pants to shorts. Plus, it's lightweight material keeps you cool but is really soft on the inside. I will definitely be buying this in other colors! May 9, 2013
Bought wrong size After reading many reviews, I was convinced to size up from my usual 6 to an 8. When it arrived I fell in love with the overall feel of this jacket. However I think the bust was a little saggy and the waist had a bit of extra room. My suggestion: unless you have a big bust, stick to your regular size. I probably won't go out of my way to exchange it, because I think it looks good if its not zipped all the way up. I'm 5'7 with a long torso, 145 pounds, 38b I am a 6 in this jacket May 9, 2013
Nothing Better I absolutely love this jacket. I'm 5'2 110 lbs, C chest, confined to a wheelchair. This jacket is the perfect everyday jacket, perfect length so avoids bunching around the waist, very flattering. Going to get multiple colours! I have the tan colour and it goes great with jeans or black astros. May 7, 2013
