A deep, lined hood, thumbholes and Cotton Fleece fabric make this sweatshirt our go-to piece when we're wanting to boost our cozy factor. We designed it to be soft and stretchy to increase movability when we're battling the elements.
the Cotton Fleece fabric has stretch so the hoodie moves everywhere you do
the deep lined hood and high scuba collar help keep your head and neck warm
ribbing in the waistband, cuffs and under the arms provide additional stretch
park your zipper in the zipper garage to keep it from scratching your chin
thumbholes and snug cuffs keep sleeves down and make layering easy
I want to love it, but...
I went up a size just to be sure, and glad that I did! Usually an 8. I really want to love this, but the fit sucks. It's a thick, warm, comfortable hoodie, colours are great as well, but I can't get past how short it is. It's very unflattering, as it sits on my hips. I constantly try to pull it down. Please bring back the old scuba!!

Aquamarine not the same as pictured
I ordered this scuba hoodie in aquamarine based on the photos on the web site. I was disappointed when it arrived as the zipper is not contrasting as in the photo, but rather the same color as the jacket. Also, the Lulu symbol on the hood was not dark blue contrast but instead it was white. I returned it as I prefer the extra style of the contrast. The
fit of the hoodie is cute though, but the monochromatic aquamarine color is a bit boring.........

Love - but wish it came in tall
I love the scuba hoodies - but I am 5'10 size 6 and the arms are way too short :(
I would recommend if you are under 5'9

Great fit, inconsistent sizing.
This is NOT like the *original* scuba, but it is its own product, so I am okay with that. I own the scuba stretch with lined hood in two colors, 1) fresh teal and 2) color blocked - beaming blue/dune/black.
I found both to be TTS. They fit snugly but in a very flattering way. I think it highlights my hip/waist ratio nicely.
I have washed each of them 3-4 times. No stretching or other loss of shape has been observed. They are fairly stain resistant; dirt on cuffs comes off with pretreatment with Woolite. Unlike my technical gear, I put these hoodies in the dryer so that they are not stiff and have not had a problem with that either.
I live in a cold, snowy place. I find this to be a great middle layer in winter for to/from yoga (beneath a proper winter coat); good outer layer for snowy runs, and a nice jacket in the spring. I love the thumb holes and zipper garage.
I wish that these had the hole in the hood for a ponytail like the Scuba *original* did... that would be my design suggestion for the next time around.
The only reason these did not get a 4-5 store rating is because fit between different colors was inconsistent. I was in the store in SoHo Manhattan and tried on a total of 8-10 different colors (all size 4) and chose the 2 that were most fluttering. Some of them puckered at seams and even had crooked or loose seams.

Comfiest Sweater You Will Ever Own
This is by far my Go-To hoodie when I want to feel comfortable. It feels almost as if you are being wrapped up in a blanket. I recommend that you make sure you buy the right size. Do some size-testing tricks before you make your purchase! Don't buy one too small! You should be able to wear a t-shirt comfortably underneath this hoodie!

I recently purchased this Scuba hoodie in the faded zap color and I LOVE it! It is so soft and warm, and I always get a ton of compliments on it. This is my second Scuba hoodie (also have it in black). I usually wear between a 4-6 in lulu and my Scuba hoodies are a size 6. They are loose enough that I can wear a t-shirt underneath comfortably. I think that the quality is exceptional, like all of my other lulu products!

Like the hoodie, disappointed with the fabric
I purchased this hoody a few months back - the hot pink with black stripes. I had it hidden in my closet and pulled it out to wear finally last week Ive washed the hoody and the black color has completely bled into all the pink. Pretty disappointed because at this price point $108 dollars for a hoody that just looks like its dirty now is a bummer and a waste of money as I wont wear it for much now. It really does look like its gone through dirt and is just filthy.

LOVE this hoodie!
All of my lululemon gear is exceptional, and this piece is no different. I bought the hoodie as a layering piece to wear in and out of the studio and while running errands, but I could easily lounge around the house in it, as well. The stretch on this piece, and the thick cotton fleece fabric make this a very flattering addition that is still oh-so functional! I would highly recommend this to anyone new to lululemon!
I am 5'5", 120 lbs, usually wear a sz 6 in tops and bottoms, for a point of reference.

What are they talking about??? Scuba vs. Stretch
Why this hoodie is getting bad reviews is beyond me. I have the original Scuba Hoodie and the Scuba Hoodie Stretch (lined hood). I love them both! The original is thicker and more loose whereas this one is fitted and slightly thinner (but not thin by any means, it's still a thick hoodie). Both are incredibly warm and soft. The only difficulty I can foresee is someone taller having issues with the length of the Scuba Hoodie Stretch because the Scuba Stretch is shorter. I am 4' 10", so the length is absolutely perfect for me (I wear a size 2 in both hoodies). Overall, the only problem I have is deciding which one to grab when I head out the door!!

Warm and toasty!
I had been eyeing the Scuba hoodie for ages when my MIL bought it for me as a X-mas present. It's the older style in black - longer is better. Wish they were all this length because I would have picked another color. I'm 5'8" and curvy, so I went with the size 12. I gave this four stars for the hood size and new length/style. But overall, it's become my go-to hoodie. Plus, I'm now 18 weeks preggers and still comfy in it!
