Great classic - but can be stinky ;)
I love my Scuba, it's cuddly and warm on those in-between days, and the thumb holes are a nice touch. The overall shape, and fit under the arms is great!
However, the black can fade quite easily and it holds armpit stink like crazy! Maybe something with an anti-stink armpit gusset?

Warm and snuggly... but not stretchy!
I received my second scuba hoodie a few days ago. I have one in orange (tangerine??) and love it for it's warmth and quality. the one thing I am not so keen on is that the fabric is quite stiff for a hoodie. I don't know if the 'stretch' in the item title is new, but it was enough to convince me that I needed another one! This hoodie is NOT stretchy. It is thick, warm, snuggly and good quality. But it is not stretch.
I like my hoodie roomy, particularly given the lack of stretch, so I ordered a size up and find it a good fit.
I ordered the pink, which looks like a fairly soft pink on my computer (which usually offers a pretty accurate representation of colour), but be aware that the pink is almost fluorescent!

I would recommend, unless...
I have bought one of these. I am 5'8, 130. Lean and long waisted. I bought this to use as a cover up for the gym I work at.
What I love:
- The fabric: So soft, and cozy.
- The quality: Overall, the quality of these sweatshirts are decent. They definitely feel "sturdier" than other sweatshirts.
- The colours: Generally, this sweatshirt is offered in fun colours.
What I don't love:
- The FIT! I am long waisted and lean. I don't even consider purchasing this sweater any more because they every time I try them on, they seem to fit so awkwardly on my body. If I get my size, the lower elastic always feels like it's riding up my waist (as it doesn't stay put around my hips - if it reaches my hips at all). If I were to get a larger size, the sweatshirt would swim on me everywhere else. Unfortunatley, the one and only sweatshirt I bought, I ended up giving to a 'tween'-ager, who was thrilled to have it for the 'Lulu' logo ;)
I would recommend this sweatshirt to my short waisted friends in a heartbeat. To anyone else, I would say "save your money".
Please make longer ones!

I love this jacket. It's so warm, comfortable and functional. I'd love to see some warmer colours released.

Confortable, robuste et chaud, je me sens à l'aise simplement à le porter.
Il y a longtemps que je voulais l'acheter; je l'ai fait et ne regrette pas.
Ok! ... il va sans doute perdre sa belle couleur noire, rendue là je le rachèterai!

great jacket but not so great zipper
I loved my Scuba jacket. I normally wear Lululemon shirts/tanks in size 4 and the same size hoodie fit perfectly. I love the little attention to details like with pretty much all Lululemon products. It?s super soft and the slightly oversized hood is perfect for misty northwest weather. I wore it almost every day for weeks until I finally put it in the washer (by itself, didn?t want anything to ruin it) and noticed a couple zipper teeth had fallen off. I brought it in to a local Lululemon store and they replaced the zipper fairly quickly, less than 10 days; however I am very disappointed that they did not have the exact zipper my original hoodie came with so they replaced it with a plastic white one. My original Polar Cream Scuba hoodie had a dark metal zipper that looked and felt awesome. I think for the price of the jacket, it should have lasted longer than one wash or at the very least, have original zipper replacements. Now my favorite hoodie is just not the same.

BRING BACK THE ORIGINAL SCUBA
The new scuba stretch feels cheaper, looks worse, and costs the same as the original.
Why oh why is it that as the years pass, companies get bored and feel the need to mess with longtime products? Not everything needs to change! Seriously! Lululemon, PLEASE listen to us and bring back the old scuba!

Not impressed
My boyfriend bought me my first scuba hoodie Christmas of 2011 and it fit perfectly. I went out and bought myself 4 more from 2011-2012. Once I washed the black one it faded right away and it shrunk!!! I am tall and have a long torso so when they tell you the product is preshrunk it better be, but clearly it wasn't. Not only did it shrink but ALL of them shrunk!!! And I didn't even put it in the dryer. So now I have 5 useless hoodies sitting in my closet that only got one use out of them each! so now I have lost over 500.00 in hoodies that were supposedly pre shrunk that clearly weren't.
These hoodies need to be made longer so that your torso can stay warm not just your boobs! once this sweater is washed thats essentially all it is good for.
I ama scuba diver and thought that spending the money on these hoodies would be worth it, man was I wrong!
Save your money on this item!!! Sooo disappointed.

Love the Scuba Hoodie!
I really love this Scuba Hoodie. I tried on the Scuba stretch while in store and it just didn't do it for me. Since I have a longer torso and long legs the Scuba Stretch just looked funky on me and hit my hips funny making me look larger than I am. This one just fit like a glove and wasn't much longer than the other but with my torso it did make a difference. I wish there were more colors than just black left (even at the lululemon stores where I bought mine there is only black of the original scuba left), but the black looks like it will be great for me when I start teaching since it looks kind of professional. I hope to purchase another color as fun wear in the original scuba hoodie since the scuba stretch just doesn't fit me right. I definitely think so far that the original scuba hoodie is worth the $115 price tag.

I love the scubas! Not the scuba stretch
I had the sucba hoodie micro stripe from last year and i can tell you THE BEST MONEY I EVER SPENT!(unfortunatley my co-worker stole it before she moved) It kept me warm in 20 degree and snowing weather and while snowmobiling. It is so warm and perfectly made. I am extremely upset they discontinued it. I looked and the scooba hoodie stretch in the store and it is too thin and too short, i hate it. Its not warm/thick or perfectly made like the original scuba.
PLEASE BRING BACK THE ORIGINAL SCUBA!!!!!
