I don't even know why I purchased this scarf, not being much of a scarf person, but am I ever glad I did. It's so versatile - I wear it at work in my office where I'm always cold, with casual outfits, camping, etc. etc. When we recently traveled, my 5 year old son was cold so I carried him and wrapped the scarf around both of us similar to a baby carrier (I was holding his weight obviously). I get compliments on it constantly. In fact, I think I should get a commission for how many people I've sent to Lulu to buy this scarf :)
$48 is a lot to spend on a scarf, but it's absolutely worth it.

I received this scarf in the mail last week. I love the pattern (I have the one with the multicolored stripes) and also the Rulu fabric which is soft and stretchy. The buttons/snaps on it are very handy, and I think that the length of it is perfect. It seems to be very well made, and so far I have no complaints. Great job, lululemon!

by BeagleMama Here we go again...something great is now sub-par
I took a long break from Lululemon bc of quality issues. I only started buying things again if I could see them in the store and judge the quality for myself. In the last year I discovered the Vinyasa scarves and loved them. They felt like old Lulu -- good quality, functional, feminine, and unique.
I have 7 Vinyasa scarves (all patterns from the last year) so when the new herringbone one popped up I ordered it online without hesitation. It looked perfect for Fall.
When it came I was so disappointed. My first thought was that the material was not as soft and it didn't have the same thickness as m other scarves. I thought maybe it's because it's a herringbone it the composition of the material is different. It's a little rough, definitely not as snuggly which I think is the big appeal of the Vinyasa scarves. I held it up and it seemed much smaller so I took out a scarf I hadn't worn yet to compare sizing.
The new Vinyasa is about 3" smaller than the old ones. It's also seamed now, not one piece as I really liked about my other Vinyasas. Shorter, thinner, rougher, and seamed -- all cost-cutting measures that I am so frustrated with.
I just don't get it. It's obvious the Lulu demographic wants quality and has been willing to pay for it. Taking favorite items and making them of lesser quality doesn't make sense to me.

I wanted to buy this scarf, essentially when I seen it in the new strip color, but I feel more material is needed and its just too small. I think bigger scarfs are in now so I passed

I LOVE THIS SCARF! It is so versatile; I have worn it regularly (looped) as a blanket and as a shawl. It is so easy to adjust and snap together. The fabric is so soft and doesn't hold onto sweat if you wear it after a heated class.

Overnight I fell in love with these scarves and have grown to buy more and more. There was one particular one that I was trying to hunt down for a while and I found the last one. I didn't inspect it too much because it was new but when I got home I noticed that the thread on one of the seams was all messed up. I wish I could return in but I don't want to lose the scarf.
Overall I love the versatility and the prints but am sad that I have to deal with this.

I was set on getting a scarf when I lived in oregon one winter. I saw the Vinyasa Scarf at the Tigard lulu and decided it was too much for me to spend on a scarf. After my mom buying me a scarf from the mall and myself looking all over nothing compared to the Vinyasa scarf so I finally gave in and bought it. I now own 5 in a variety of patterns. They go with everything and come in handy everyday. I've used it as a blanket for myself and my dog, a neck roll in savasana and a wrap when the office gets cold. I buy them for gifts(especially if I know they love lulu but I don't know their size) and all my friends love them! I will probably end up buying more in the future.

My sister told me about how much she loved the scarf and it took me several months to give in and buy one to try to understand. Four years and 20+ scarves later, I am utterly and completely sold on the versatility and luxurious comfort these scarves provide.
I use it as a Scarf (when my arms are already covered), Cardigan (when my arms are exposed), Vest (when it get a little too warm for the Cardi), Hood (when it actually sprinkles unexpectedly in Southern California), Blanket/Shawl (when you wanna feel like you're curled up on the couch watching TV with your blankie), Skirt (over shorts when the sun when down and got cold), Face Shield (when snowboarding and the bright colors do wonders so your friends can find you!), and lastly Cocoon (like the hood, but loosely pulled over your face so you can sleep in darkness on the plane).
Since the AC is always blasting in the office, so I use one just about everyday (giving me the excuse to keep buying more so i have a color/design/texture to go with every outfit!) It's the secret way to wear the comfort of LLL in a Business Casual work environment!!

This is possibly the best item of clothing I have ever owned. I love there versatility of it. I'm not a huge scarf wearer unless it's quite chilly, but I'm in Calgary which is very cold at times so it will come in handy. My favourite use is actually wearing it as a cardi style shirt. It's perfect for walking the dog because I can keep my shoulders covered if I get chilled, or turn it into a vest if it's a little warmer. I will never travel without this. You can also use it as a blanket which makes it even more useful.

At first I enjoyed this product, when I first bought it. However, I don't enjoy it as much anymore, because it is not very practical nor necessary for hiking or walking, as what I had intended to use it for. With that said, I also bought it for everyday wear. At first I felt like this scarf was very in and received many compliments on it however, now the style is more for larger scarfs, and I find it as a wimpy looking scarfs in comparison to my other now favourite scarfs. I like the buttons, the wrap around and the idea of it, however I think it needs to be larger, have more material. Looking forward to buying a bigger scarf next fall!
