Vinyasa Scarf *Rulu
Best of the Best
This is possibly the best item of clothing I have ever owned. I love there versatility of it. I'm not a huge scarf wearer unless it's quite chilly, but I'm in Calgary which is very cold at times so it will come in handy. My favourite use is actually wearing it as a cardi style shirt. It's perfect for walking the dog because I can keep my shoulders covered if I get chilled, or turn it into a vest if it's a little warmer. I will never travel without this. You can also use it as a blanket which makes it even more useful.

At first I enjoyed this product, when I first bought it. However, I don't enjoy it as much anymore, because it is not very practical nor necessary for hiking or walking, as what I had intended to use it for. With that said, I also bought it for everyday wear. At first I felt like this scarf was very in and received many compliments on it however, now the style is more for larger scarfs, and I find it as a wimpy looking scarfs in comparison to my other now favourite scarfs. I like the buttons, the wrap around and the idea of it, however I think it needs to be larger, have more material. Looking forward to buying a bigger scarf next fall!

Akido Stripe Close to the Rulu Light!
I've been eyeing these for a cuter pattern to be released and even better - the Rulu light from last summer. I ordered the Akido stripe (B&W with the coral accent) and love how it will just go with everything. It is also a lighter fabric version Vs. the other Vinyasa scarves I bought earlier this year. I wish Lulu would specify the fabric thickness or whatever with these b/c it can be difficult to tell online. I'm still hoping the true Rulu Light vinyasa will come back this summer, but in the meantime this will do. I'm very happy with it!

I'm not a scarf person and I love it!
I got this as kinda an "add on" when I got some other stuff. I had watched the video, checked out how others were wearing it, and was on the fence. I was afraid it would make me look heavier and clunky. I am so so SO glad I got it! I played with it when I got home and fell in love!
I keep it in my purse as an emergency jacket, I am bringing it to a wedding this weekend as a shawl, I am going to wear it as a scarf this summer up in the mountains and use it for a hood, shrug, scarf.. whatever I can as the need arises! We pack light, so to have something that can do quadruple + duty is awesome.
I also tried it on my 3 year old daughter and can wrap her in it if she gets chilly sometime. I always have it with me, and don't know how I lived this long without it :) The video doesn't do it justice. It folds up super small and the fabric is thin but warm and soft. I just can't say enough about the scarf!
If you are on the fence, seriously, do it. You won't believe how versatile this is! It covers from my neck to my waist and wraps around comfortably. I can even do all the snapping tricks they do in the video, and I'm far from being a tiny size! You will completely not regret this purchase! I am going to be getting other colors as they catch my eye!

Great, just a detail..
So I was obsessed with getting the Vinyasa scarf, they didn't have the color I wanted in any of the stores nearby, so I ordered one online. I looked at the video and really liked the one on the video because it went really well with the denim vest, so I thought it might go well with my denim vest as well. I ordered the mini check pique caspian blue heathered inkwell and thought it might look pretty with my vest. Well it didn't. I was reluctant to return it as I loved the material and everything, but I just wanted something that would match more things form my closet for the price... I exchanged it for the black one, but I am kind of disappointed, because the materials are not the same.. I wish they would make more go-with-anything kind of colors. And more of the soft ones with stripes :)

soft and comfortable
I got this in the mint green. I own probably 10 of these scarves. They are great for everything. The mint green is a wonderful spring color and the material is very soft. I would love to see these at a slightly lower price point though.

I think the video is misleading as it is demonstrated by someone who is very tiny and no hips, shoulders, chest or height and the scarf is able to wrap around her easily. However, I would like to see an average size person demonstrate as I can guarantee you that you cannot snap it into a jacket or shrug. I am 5'6' and 130 so I am not that big, and it was a no go. Also, on the pale gray with blue stripes the contrast band was on the wrong side.

Functional and stylish
I have the Vinyasa Rulu scarf in grey and Black. I love them both. I use it as a wrap to keep warm at the office, as a scarf in the winter, a cover up for savasana and I have even used it to wrap up my baby in the emergency room. I honestly can't think of another piece of clothing that has come in this handy on so many occasions.
The fabric is sturdy, but super soft too. I hope they come out in fleece next winter again. I am kicking myself for not getting one when I had the chance.

Worth going gaga over!
After randomly looking through the Lululemon site one day, the video on how to wear the vinyasa scarf caught my eye. At first I thought it was some kind of marketing gimmick but then when I actually bought one and tried it out, I was amazed at how functional the scarf was!
This is such a lightweight scarf, yet it's so soft and keeps me warm. I would consider these scarves as investment pieces. I have used this in the office as a shawl to keep me warm from the blasting AC, used it after my yoga practice at night as a warm layer, used it to style my neck...it's just an overall great scarf for it's functionality and it's style!

After watching the "10 ways to wear your Vinyasa Scarf" video on the Lulu website, I became interested in it. A friend of mine purchased it a couple years ago and she always said that it was such a functional scarf, so I wanted to try this new style. I consider myself a scarf collector. I have all kinds of scarves in different sizes from everywhere. Out of all of my scarves, this one is the most practical one and I now can't live without it. Great quality and soft fabric. I would like to get one for my friend living overseas. Two thumbs up for this scarf!
