I was speculative, but this actually worked! I've tried about five million headbands and most of them slip off when I wear a pony tail. This one stayed on for five sweaty miles while bouncing away on my run... with a pony tail. I'm impressed! It may have slipped a bit, but still looked good after the run. I've worn it with my hair down and it's really cute that way too. I have thickish, curly hair that's a bit slippery. This headband was very impressive! April 26, 2013
I am in love with this product....:) I love lululemon! My favorite brand. I went to the Lululemon outlet yesterday just to get this headband. My friend has one, and i tried it on it sticks so easily! I have big thick curly hair, and it stays in one spot PERFECTLY! I love it! I dont need to adjust it! I would defiantly buy this product again! April 14, 2013
Does NOT stay in place! I loved when I first got this headband as it was so cute! It holds a bit better if my hair is down and I am wearing it out and about as my hair holds it in the place. This is not a headband for the gym because as soon as my hair is in a ponytail its constantly slipping back. I have tried everything from loosening it so its not super tight and tightening it right up and it will NOT stay in place. I will not buy another one of these. Sorry Lulu! April 2, 2013
No slip headband?? I have never purchased a headband from lulu before. I teach spin and was using pre-wrap to keep my stray hairs back while I instruct. I decided to get a couple of these headbands and give them a try. I needed something thing because I sweat a lot and didn't want one of the thicker material ones to make my head hotter or be soaked in sweat while teaching. Well, it was a waste of money. The first time I wore it, it slid off my head while teaching and was quite distracting. I didn't want to disrupt my class to fix my hair, so wound up finishing the ride with it around my neck like a necklace.... yeah, not a good look and my stray fly away hair was in my face. I actually haven't tried it again for spin bc if it falls off again I can't fix it. I HAVE tried it running several times and have to wear it so tight that I feel like it will pop off at any moment, so I wind up focusing on that while I run, so that I don't lose it if it does. Certainly wish I didn't waste my money on two of them, especially since you can't return them... I'm going back to pre-wrap. March 19, 2013
A Headband That Works I have never been a headband girl. They have never stayed on my head, and they've never really looked right. This is the first headband that I am able to wear that makes me feel flirty and feminine and that doesn't move. That said, it does have some limitations. I tried to wear it for a couple workouts. I sweat buckets. It lasted me through a 20-minute elliptical session but slid off about 8 minutes into a treadmill workout. It lasted me about 6.5 miles on a run in 40-degree weather before the sweat got the best of it. So, for sweatier runs or workouts, I stick to my Flyaway Tamers. I noticed no new colors have come out in the recent weeks. I do hope it doesn't get discontinued! March 18, 2013
meh... it was OK I had heard great things about the lulu headbands, so I went in and bought 2. This was just... OK. It is very pretty, but in terms of function no different from something I could buy at the drugstore. Too top it off, I was wearing it at the gym today and it broke! I have to wear the headband on the tightest notch (otherwise its like I have nothing on at all), and now that notch has ripped. $14 down the drain and all sales final. Let's just say, I probably won't be replacing it. March 7, 2013
Married in a Bang Buster... Still in love... This headband is so flattering. And best of all it stays put! Even with hair product! The colors... Brilliant. The fit... Can you argue adjustable? Perfect lulu. Perfect. Ladies with delicate feature faces... This is YOUR headband. Skinny doesn't distract from your pretty, yet delicate face. Married in a bang buster in the same Loop De Lulu reversed it to green for the dance... Check out my son rockin' his Ivivva hat! March 7, 2013
tattunerunner17 I run, swing kettlebells, crossfit, hunt and fish. I have 5 of these headbands. My older ones have lululemon written on the side and I love that, newer ones don't, wish they did (I pay top $ for the name, would like it to show). Anyway, I have curly hair and use product (mouse & hairspray along w/ a diffuser) to keep my hair looking cute. It works perfect for big curly hair styles. It will not work on straight sleek hair (my opinion). When I straigthen my hair, I can NOT wear these headbands hands down, they do NOT stay on. So ladies, with straight hair, I do not think this headband will work. :( If you use hairspray before you put it on, it'll probably work, otherwise a no go. As for my hair I love 'em, they're awesome. Hope this helps you out! March 6, 2013
My first disappointing purchase from Lulu :( I bought 3 of these at the store at Millenia because the girl at the counter said they were great. I got home and put one in my hair but it would not stay. I tried tightening it but it still just slid right off. I called the store and told them that these are not "no slip" as they claim on the packaging and the store said "sorry but all headwear is final purchase" and there was nothing they could do even though i literally just bought them that day and two of them still had the tags on. I am so upset about this. I have spent thousands of dollars in this store and have an entire wardrobe of great workout pieces from Lulu but this was so disappointing. I thought they would have awesome customer service but they just dismissed my issue as irrelevant because it was headwear. So what does this mean?? Lulu can say whatever they want on the packaging and then if it doesnt work, oh well for me? I cannot wrap my head around the fact that this is what Lulu intends its corporate culture to be... great concept, failed design I loved the idea of this. I JUST bought it yesterday in a color I loved. I wore it to work (at a bakery, very low stress). I had plans to wear it to yoga right after, unfortunately it fell off. I made it as tight as possible, but it just does not stay in place. I wish I could love this, because I think the idea is so great. March 4, 2013
