Race To Place Run Hat
I really wanted to like this hat. The fabric is great - it's light, and dries quickly. The black and white pattern is also great.
... But, the "one-size" option does not work for me. It's hard to try on the hat in the store because it had an alarm tag on it, but the back is adjustable so I thought it would work. Opposite to some of the other reviewers, I found this hat too small, and adjusting the back does nothing to help. I'm used to getting a mark on my forehead from wearing hats, but this digs in and creates a thin line across my forehead. I wore the hat to yoga (35 minute walk), took it off for class and at the end of the 1 hour long class, the line was still on my forehead! I can't wear this hat, and I'm frustrated that it was a final sale (even though it was full price).

This hats is too large and covers almost half of my ears. I have several other hats from lululemon that fit well, and even the current race to win hat doesn't have this issue. I highly recommend trying this on in store, or knowing your head size well, as there are no returns.

Not sure why the reviews are showing no love?
Love this hat! Wore it a few times and for my first half marathon a few weeks ago I got the black and white one with the triangles:) Its really light and functional and really cute! Plenty of compliments. Will be purchasing more! LOVE LOVE LOVE this hat!

HUUUUUGE running hat
So, I love the fabric, design, and feel of this hat (note: it's a running hat so in response to the other reviews, it's supposed to be a little thin and flimsy - no runner wants a thick and stiff hat - thinner and lighter is always better). Now, back to my review...I wanted to love this hat, but it was incredibly big and deep. So deep in fact that I had to tuck-in my ears. No runner I know wants to do that. It's hot, and it looks ridiculous. In the future I would really love to see Lulu make hats in two sizes: S/M and M/L to help us smaller-headed gals. Sadly, I had to put this one back.

Please bring back the cross-training caps!
My local store didn't have this so I took a chance and ordered it online, crossing my fingers that it would work for me since hats are final sale. To my disappointment, this hat is too flimsy in material and the short brim has no practical use. In fact, this hat is very similar in fit to the speed demon running hat that wasn't popular, so I'm not sure why you keep bringing this style back. Please, please bring back the cross-training running hat which has a longer brim for more coverage, velcro adjustable strap which is easier to adjust than the one on this hat, super handy side reflective zip pocket, and sturdier fabric to maintain shape. Those hats were the best!! Also, if your hats will not be sold at all local stores, I think that we should be able to return them. If I'd tried this on in the store, I wouldn't have purchased it. Now, I'm bummed because I'm stuck with a hat that I'll never wear!

Lightweight, but not durable
I really like wearing this hat for my long runs. It's lightweight, wicks sweat well, and dries quickly after a run. What I strongly dislike is that it does not wash up well. As a running hat, this hat gets washed about 1x week or 1x every other week. This is to keep the hat, fresh and not stinky as tends to happen with running caps. However, the silver reflective strip at the brim has completely chipped away and the painted metal clasp at the back of hat is also chipped (it is painted and the paint instantly chipped away after one time in the washer). My suggestion would be to eliminate the reflective strip at the brim, and use a polished metal clasp instead of a painted one. These two fixes would make the hat look a lot better after a few times in the washer (it should also make the hat a few dollars less). I would not recommend this hat to a friend based upon the fact that it now looks cheap instead of like something LULU would make. I've had less expensive hats that have held up better.

Comfortable during hot marathon
I bought this for the LA Marathon with anticipated temperatures in the high 80s. The brim, while short, was sufficient in keeping my face shielded from the sun. The volume of the hat is quite deep; my other running hat (Nike) sits atop my head, making it look comically small and misshapen. I had plenty of room to wear a french braid underneath. I perspire quite a bit, but it did a great job keeping the sweat from trickling down my face. Overall, it's lightweight and very comfortable. One less piece of gear I have to fuss with during long runs.

Great for running in the heat and sun
I bought this for sunny runs wanting to shield my face a little. I was unsure of the fit as the material seemed odd but I figured what the heck. My biggest concern wearing a hat for outside running was that it would make my head super hot and my hair and scalp insanely sweaty. I was very pleased that didn't happen. The fit is nice, it's very comfortable, it provided nice coverage and when I got home my hair was not as sweaty as I would have expected (and I live in South FL). Highly recommend this.

Right up there with the mesh hats from the Running Room. You want light material so your head can breath, and you want material that is going to wick sweat and not make you sweat. Brim of hat seems short, but the way the hat is designed, once you put it on, you will see that it has full facial coverage just as other hats do. Only recommendations would be to make a tightening clasp strap that comes undone to thread pony tail through.
