Black WUs worse than before
I tried on a few sizes, my normal size, a size up and size up from there. They are very sheer. Worse than the ones I took back a few months ago, makes me wish I kept them. they were much softer too. You could see the tag and my underwear. I don't care if you're wearing panties or a thong you can see them somehow. Also the "black" color is pretty light, it looks faded, the seams are way darker than the pants. This is really a disappointment seeing all the press coming out that you guys made all of these changes. I'd take these of the shelves now before it gets out. Oh and the "education" you're implementing seems pointless, there's nothing you can say to make them look any different. epic fail, lulu...

Not the same
Like a few other reviewers below, I have been a long-time wearer (and vocal supporter!) of the Wunder Unders.
I was THRILLED to go into my local LL store today, after hearing that black WUs are back in stock. Unfortunately, the Wunder Unders are very different from the ones I have purchased over the years. They are a thinner material and, yes, there was some sheerness in the rear end. I explained this to the very nice saleswoman, and she seemed disbelieving. But they just aren't the same. I couldn't bring myself to buy these crops. Very disappointing - I absolutely LOVE the old Wunder Unders.

Nice but No Longer Worth the Price
Just RETURNED the Charcoal color WU as I saw too many folks posting how they appeared to "wet themselves" after a sweaty workout. When I asked the gal helping me at Lulu if they would except a return should mine did the same she said no... so back they went!
I have the purple ones and while nice, the show some sweat (not enough to complain until they took the return but more than an $80 pair of crops should show sweat).
I have the new black ones as well. The material doesn't feel great, cheap is the word I'd use to describe.
So this is it Lulu. You're on notice. My patience with your brand is growing thin like your crops....

Seriously?
After 3 months of waiting, my store finally got the black wunder unders back in. This was after I was told April, then June 1st, then your website said they were back but were not actually back until last Friday. I tried them on in my usual size, and the next 2 sizes up but they're still sheer. I'm really at a loss and don't know how to spend my $98 gift card I received when my Astros were sheer. I also tried on the astro and groove pants and literally every single size from 4-12 are sheer (I am normally a 4). The sales associate told me other people are having the same problem with these new "improved" pants. These used to be my favorite workout pants but I'm worried I'll never be able to purchase them again. When will this problem be solved?

Buyer Beware
I was so excited when I heard my local store had the black WUs back in stock. On my one day off a week I made it a point to stop by the store to check them out and was really very disappointed. I did a bend over test and sure thing...you could clearly see my thong and the white tag of the pants (along with everything else) through the material.
The issue is not that you see the panty lines per se....it's that what you see is a sheerness that shows the color of your skin through the pants. For the fact that the lulu brand is designed with yoga in mind, which requires A LOT of bending and stretching, you would think being able to bend over in the pants would be an important piece.
I did not purchase these pants and am about to give up on Lulu bottoms unless they can really get it together. What is so difficult about going back to the old formulas and fabrics? Clearly that is what made this brand so popular to begin with.
I know the black has not hit the web yet, but I want those considering a purchase to know, the problem has not been fixed.

What is on the go with the stitching
I bought these pants in the dark blue and light blue stripes for body pump class . Absolutely loved them pants . After the second wear I noticed a long thread hanging from the bum seam , , cut the thread off , hoping it had nothing to do with a main seam . Today I wore them again and there is another thread loose from the bum seam :( . I wash all my lulu clothes on delicate cycle and with detergent for delicate clothes . I am after having a few pieces of clothes that I had to take to the seamstress to get fixed , I refuse to do it again . I will be returning these pants . I cannot be the only one with this problem . Would have got a 5 instead of a 3 only for the stitching .

Changed for the worse
I've been buying the WU crops and full length pants for years and patiently waited through the recall to buy a new pair of black crops for my warm summer yoga class. Needless to say I was thrilled to find them back in stock this week but extremely disappointed to find out that the new luon is still see through and shows sweat... Even in BLACK! While the material felt soft, I'm a petite girl and these pants still showed every slight imperfection on my legs, to the point of being uncomfortable. I've been a loyal Lulu customer for years but am going to have to start buying my yoga pants elsewhere until they change the way these pants are being made.

All Black Wunder Under
I love love love the original WA. I bought several pairs and I wear them all the time. I was sceptic after I heard about the lulu-recall and double and triple checked myself in the mirror doing squats, but my original WU are not see through or shear at all. I went to the lulu store today and the sales person happily told me that they just got in a new batch of black WU. I was super excited because I had been waiting for a new black pair for a while. When I touched them I knew right away that they were not the same WU I have at home. The originals are soft and thick and make my butt look fantastic. The new ones feel much thinner and not as soft. It feels like thin spandex. I tried them on and I felt like they were longer and much higher. They came up almost to my belly button. But then the real terrible thing happened. Just like many other reviewers here, I squatted down and OMG? I could see my underwear, including the stitching detail on it right through the fabric of the pants I used to love so much. It broke my heart. Lulu, stop looking for a new CEO. Instead, please bring back the pants you used to make. The pants that I recommended to everyone and anyone and the pants that blew every competition out of the water. I really don't understand why you are ruining perfectly awesome pants. What a shame.

Love
I have a few pairs of these crops and love them. When I tried the purple on in dressing room, I had normal hipster panties on and yes, you could see through them a tad when I bent over into a down dog position. BUT, I still bought them because I never wear panties (other than a thong style) under my fitted pants. Not sure who does? And I would agree with some of the other reviewers on here that they are fitted pants so they will show everything if you have it to show. I'm 5'2, 120 pounds and wear a size 4 comfortable in these as I do in most LLL bottoms. I have these in pink, purple, and the charcoal. Love them.
