why we made this

When we get up for an early morning run, looking in the mirror isn't a priority. But we do want other people to see our reflection. We designed these running crops with reflective panels so that we'll shine in the street lights and headlights.

LOVE IT! I am an avid runner and this was my first pair of Lululemon crops I have ever purchased. The price tag has always been a factor into why I have never purchased at LLL before. However, after receiving a giftcard, I was able to buy something, without all the guilt :) About me, I am 5'2'' and 115 pounds. I do have a little junk in the trunk and tried on a size 4. It fit very snug so I opted to go with a size 6. I couldn't be happier with how amazing this feels on before, during and after a run. I would recommend this to anyone. Sad:( I am so in love with these crops. Sadly I got told by the staff to size up in these and they are now way too big sliding down during running which is so annoying that I can't wear them. Sad to have that much money wasted. Also please make more in solid black so I can get a new pair one day. March 14, 2013
My go to for spin/road bike Bought these in Sping has Sprung. Very flattering fit and keeps me dry during my 100 mile rides on Sundays. I'm 5'2/110 and purchase a size 4. Luv, luv these. Would recommend for crossift, spin and anything in between. Thanks Lulu. March 11, 2013
UNBELIEVABLE Second Skin for Running I saw the word "second skin" and thought I knew what it meant... I did not- until now. These tights feel AMAZING. You could do a split, lunges, backflips, etc and never have to adjust these pants. They don't tug ANYwhere (even though the side pockets visually make it look like they do). For my first run in them I just kept thinking how amazing they felt... I'm 125lbs, 5'3." I bought 2 pairs of these in Spring has Sprung in a size 4. I probably could hem these an inch but I prefer not to in order to keep the reflective panel (a great design detail). I tried these on in the Black/Classic Stripe Mint pattern and they're not attractive. Putting emphasis on the "saddlebag" area of a woman's legs is never a good idea. I'm not even 100% sure the Spring has Sprung is the most flattering but I just happen to LOVE the pattern and "second skin" feel and want to wear them. March 6, 2013
Pockets! I LOVE lulu running crops and tights, they keep everything in place. What I loved most about these, of course- the pockets! PLEASE keep making running crops and tights with pockets! I had the RunDash tights, which also had deep pockets, but they were really starting to wear out, so I got these just in time. I also really loved the large area of reflective detail. Very clever- it's there, and bright, but sort of disguised by that sheer overlay so when I run at the gym light isn't reflecting off them like crazy. These were a great buy! February 22, 2013
absolutely OBSESSED with these crops I ordered mine in solid black colour and received them in the mail today. Ones I tried them on I had to immediately wash them and take them for a test run on the track. They look absolutely amazing on me, my favourite pair by far. Love the side pockets. The design is extremely flattering. I think I know why some people wrote negative reviews about this item. They may not look good on shorter women or women with larger hips due to the length and pocket placements. I did see the on a few different people at the gym and sometimes they are not the best fit. I'm 5.8 and 120; got a size 4. Fits perfect, perfect length. Very comfortable for running (today I did 5 km and not a single complaint about them). I did do a see thou check. They are a little more sheer than some other crops (not as sheer as the new WU), but they are designed for running and are perfect for it. LOVE LOVE LOVE February 7, 2013
My Soulmates!!! I rarely write reviews for anything I purchase but I couldn't resist this time. Lululemon, you created my soulmate running crops and for that I am eternally grateful. The fabric is soft, the fit is flattering, the design is flawless... the reflective strips at the bottom are subtle, effective and super cute! I run with my Droid, often tucked in a Spibelt. For my first run with these amazing crops I just put the Droid in the pocket; it didn't move! I didn't feel like it was some clunky heavy thing on the side of my legs. I also didn't have to adjust these pants... not once. That's when I knew they were "The One" :) I am 5'1, 130lbs with athletic thighs and the size 6 fits perfectly thanks to the drawstring in the waist. I couldn't be happier with these crops. Awesome I'm a little disappointed to see so much hating on the side pockets from other reviewers, it is my favorite feature! I live in Northern California, where it can be cold enough to need gloves/ear warmer when I leave for my run, but not need them anymore as the sun begins to warm the earth. The side pockets are fabulous for this kind of thing, stuff like house keys go nicely in there without any annoying swinging or jingling! I agree that the pockets in the mint stripes probably weren't the most flattering choice for me (5'6" 140lbs, very pear shaped with thicker thighs), but I love them anyway! I wore them yesterday and washed them last night so that I could wear them again this morning! They also feel great against my skin! February 5, 2013
Great crop, weird sizing I love these crops and Lulu should definitely be making more prints/imagery on their products! Super-comfy, silky quality and adds some pop of colour instead of boring black or the over-bright blue. While the side-pockets are a God-send for items like keys and money, I would not put my phone or i-Pod in them while running. The material's slick as you run and the phone/i-Pod slides up your leg and out. For walking around or going to the store it's great though. Another issue was the sizing. Half my wardrobe is Lululemon from over the years and I have not gained weight (in fact I lost some!) and I've always been a size 4 in bottoms, regardless of make/style. I'm 5'8" and weigh 128lbs. When I tried the 4 in these it was suffocating. The 6 was no better. I had to go up to an 8 in these and I never would've guessed. Had I ordered these online in my regular size it would've been a shock. So even if you don't expect it'll affect you, go up at least 1 size when ordering! February 4, 2013
love these! Great crops for running, love the mesh behind the knees, love the bigger side pockets (my cell doesnt fit in the back pocket) and reflective detail. Took them on a 10k run and no complaints! Felt great and fit great. All my lulu pants are size 6 and these fit a bit snug but not enough to size up. February 4, 2013
