Cute Style but VERY See-Through I weigh 108 lbs, 5'5" and wear a size 4 in everything lulu. I fit in a 2 but buy 4 for comfort and coverage. These pants are SEE-THROUGH. I have enough lulu to know what 'luon' feels like and the moment I opened the package in the mail, I could tell these pants did not feel the same, they were very rough and thin. The downdog test showed the entire tag very clearly, as well as my underwear. This is bad. No self respecting woman wants see-through yoga pants. No self-respecting yoga clothing company should allow such pants to be put up for sale, especially for such a high price. My bigger concern is what would have happened if I had ripped the tags off and gone to yoga class, only to expose myself to all these people I barely know? The customer service however was wonderful - the first thing they asked was 'what type of pants' (as opposed to 'what was the problem with the pants') and as soon as I said 'invert crop' they right away agreed to set up a return for me. Clearly they know there is a problem, because normally they want photos, descriptions of the problem, and they tell you they will have to see the garment before they can agree to a return - I went through a colour transfer issue last summer, and that was the process. These pants, no questions were asked. They are being good about returns, I just wonder why they haven't pulled the pants from the website yet? I know I won't be ordering online anymore, and being 4 hours from a store, until quality improves and I see proof of that, I'm done. March 28, 2013
Awesome Pants! I bought these for yoga and just general lounging and walking. They are excellent. Very thick material and I love the high waist. They don't roll down in yoga and stay up. March 26, 2013
length and fit = perfect but see thru :-( I absolutely love everything about these pants EXCEPT they are see thru! This makes me sad, no one wants to see my hiney while bent over. I have resorted to black or nude underpants when wearing these ones. The length, fit and high fold over waist are AMAZING!! March 26, 2013
AWESOME CROP EXCEPT... I can not get my sweaty stink out after THREE washes!!! I absolutely love these, and I purchased them in my regular size 6. I truly can not say enough great things about the rise, thickness, and comfort. However, I wore these to Bikram and have not been able to get them to smell fresh again. Three washes in cold cycles, hung to dry, and they are rancid! I am too embarrassed to take them into my local store! Why is this material holding the stink?!?! UGHHH!! Please help, I want to be able to wear them again!! March 23, 2013
what is up with the luon? I'm always somewhere between a 6 and 8 in lulu and for this one the upper band was really loose in the 8 so I bought the 6 after checking with two educators that they weren't shiny (the lighting sometimes makes it hard to tell in store) and that the 6 was the right fit. I got home ripped the tags off because they are adorable and then in my home lighting noticed that they were quite sheer when I bend my knee, bent over in the mirror and noticed that I could fully see the print on my undies. What is going on! I worked at lulu for many years in the past and I feel that I know a lot about luon and how it fits (like when it's too small) and I've never had this happen before. Now i'm stuck with pants that I'll never wear out of the house. And why did the educators not tell me they could see my underwear print? I'm very upset. March 14, 2013
Perfection Again, I was hesitant to purchase these pants after reading reviews of "thin, scratchy material" and, being "see through." The fabric is most definitely thinner than WU's but it is easier to move in. It fits snuggly but is comfortably to bend and stretch in. I did a check in the mirror with some down dogs and could not see my underwear. I even sized down in these and did not notice coverage issues. The fabric is cooler than WU's when you are heating up and the band for tummy coverage is absolutely perfect for inversions or when you are wearing a short cut top. I love the colors and that they coordinate with the energy bra. This is a favorite of mine now. Please bring on more colors and make the invert crops a staple!! March 14, 2013
Great design and fit but see-through I recently tried these crops on in-store. Loved the seaming along the back of the legs and the length. At 5'2' with longish legs, the hem stopped just above my ankles, so they still looked like crops and not pants. A great length for summer. As other reviews have mentioned, the 1st waistband comes up higher to wrap around tummies and muffin tops. The second waistband is lower and has a drawstring. I'm not a fan of the drawstring since it creates an awkward bump under shirts, disturbing the clean line down the front and also the drawstring is so long that it dangles down or jangles during activity. Annoying. Since there are the two waistbands i can't easily tuck the drawstring into the inside of the pants. The deal-breaker, however, with these crops is that they're see-through. Because I knew I was interested in these crops, I wore my loudest pair of floral underwear to lulu. Tried on my usual size 2, bent over and see-through. I could nearly make out the colours of the florals out on my underwear when bent over. Size 4, could still see the floral pattern pretty clear, but the waistband was so wide I would have needed suspenders to keep these pants up. The drawstring has too much stretch that they wouldn't have been able to cinch these pants and keep them in place. The size 6 started to look like harem pants and were still see-through. I don't know if I'm being more particular about transparency than other guests are or that they wear underwear during their activities or that I actually do yoga in my stuff and thus my pants need to pass the bend over test. I don't know lulu, I'm starting to lose faith in your product. Prana may be more expensive, but it's definitely thicker and starting to look alot more attractive to me. March 12, 2013
Please stop shrinking the rise!! As a long time Lulu fan I am beginning to get frustrated with the changes that Lulu is making these days. I am 46 years old, 5'3", curvy and muscular. My weight is 143 and I'm a solid size 8 in Lululemon. I use my Lulu for a 3-day-a-week bootcamp. I am no twig, but I'm not fat either. I have hips...would I like to lose a little more weight? Sure. However, I shouldn't have to loose weight to fit into my exercise clothes. These crops were perfect all over except in two areas: The hips and waist. The legs and butt were amazing! I loved them as they reminded me of the original Run: Inspire Crop design (which I have been begging Lulu to bring back). However, the rise has been shortened and this seems to be a trend. For many women who have curvy bodies this is horrible. Not enough room to accommodate my glutes and hips. Had they been a little higher without the extra material at the top, they would have been perfect and I would have bought 4 pairs. When you combined the shortened rise and the drawstring it was a recipe for lumps and bumps. I am returning the ones I bought. It's a real shame because I loved the navy color, and the thickness of the material was fine. If the rise had been normal, then I could have folded down the top bit, and I like that look. Please, please, please, Lululemon...remember the curvy girl. We are not all built straight up and down like your models. March 12, 2013
If lululemon pants normally give you muffin tops.. After unsuccessfully trying to find inkwell/yellow in stores, I gave up and ordered it online. Finally came in today! I recently became a lululemon fan, maybe like two months ago; so I don't know what old lululemon quality was like. I really like these pants, especially with shoes like Keds on. I don't know what sheerness everyone keeps talking about but I think the fabric is thick enough. If it was any thicker, I think it would be too warm to wear in the spring. Even when the waistband is folded over it doesn't give me a muffin top which I find is amazing. 5'5 155lbs March 9, 2013
LaLaLaLove.Love. These crops are awesome for those that have been waiting for an alternative to the wunder under. I own close to 15 pairs of wunder unders and am equally satisfied with these babies. The length is a bit longer which I personally like since I have long legs. The waist is great due to the fact you can adjust it based on what your wearing them for. When I'm spinning, running, plyo etc I keep the waistband up...but for casual wear I like to roll it down. I got the basic black and am sad that the ink well is sold out (hint hint, please bring back). In terms of the sheerness others are experiencing I personally have full coverage (I did some exotic poses for my fiance to assure that no one would get a sneak peak). I have zero complaints. I am 5'6 and 119 lbs, muscular build and I wear a size 4 - true to me regular size. Hope this helps ya'll who have been hesitating!! March 9, 2013
