Gather & Crow Crop

When the yoga instructor says, "breathe into your calves," you're ready.

why we made this

We designed these crops out of luon fabric with four-way stretch to move with us whether we're practicing yoga right-side-up or upside-down. Their wide, smooth waistband won't dig in when we're in Forward Fold and the splits at the back of the hem allow our calves to feel unrestricted.

key features

  • the slit rear hem is designed to give your calves range of movement
  • the gusset helps keep our foe, the dreaded camel toe, at bay
  • stash a card or a key in the hidden waistband pocket
  • luon fabric has four-way stretch and wicks sweat away from your skin
  • chafe-resistant flat seams make getting sweaty on your yoga mat extra enjoyable

Gather & Crow Crop 4 5 212 213
Wish it were in Petite I love that LLL hems for free but when you hem the slit you lose the looks of the pants. Being a petite woman just shy of 5'2" I felt as though I could use about an inch and half off the crop. They should offer maybe this style in a short size. June 8, 2013
Crotch ripping :( I JUST got my order in yesterday, one of my items was these pants. Put them on... Pretty cute... Wore them around for a bit up and down the stairs getting laundry... 15 minutes into wearing them I bent over and there was a slight rip coming from the crotch seam. I am scared to wear these now as I don't want the crotch to blow open on me, especially after what I just paid for them. June 4, 2013
Hole in crotch I wore these twice, for an hour each time for weight training. At the end of the second wear, I noticed a hole in the crotch at the seam. $78 for 2 hours of use--what a waste of money!!! June 2, 2013
Perfect I got these in Beaming Blue back in December, and I absolutely love them. I have not experienced any pilling, sheerness, or holes. I will say that I wear these more for casual wear though. They are very comfortable and do not show any imperfections. I found these to fit true to size ( I always wear a 6 in LLL bottoms). My husband loves the way these look on me, so I am hoping to get some more of these...as long as there is no sheerness or lack of quality (as some are complaining about)! May 28, 2013
Almost perfect I purchased these in black back in March, and recently in light soot. I love these crops. They are very comfy & overall flattering. I wear them often. However, they are a tiny bit sheer. I have cheap crops which are 100% see through and leave nothing to the imagination when I bend over. Nothing. The Gather & Crow crops are NO way near that sheer. Yes, you can start to see the tag when you bend over (I noticed this in the store & bought them anyway both times), but not my underwear (was wearing dark/colorful underwear both times, have also had hubby check). The level is no where near the "obsecne/x-rated" sheerness of my other cheap crops. You can DEFINITELY wear them in public without any worries. My biggest complaint though is the lack of compression (as with most new lulu bottoms in general). I am fairly fit. Definitely active. However, like most women I still have some lumps & bumps. My "problem" area is right under my rear. And with all the G&C (black, especially soot & purple) I swear that in a certain lighting & at a certain angle I can see a faint outline of some lumps & bumps. Something that my old lulus used to always camouflage (in all lighting & angles!!!). It's not horrific. I still wear them & love them. But they are definitely not as "perfect" as my old lulus. Great for all activities! I love these crops! I usually prefer crops that hit at my knee, but when I got these loved them. They make me look very feminine and curvy (which is a huge accomplishment since I have NO curves). These are by far, my favorite crops. They're great for running errands and doing yoga. They're a snug fit, but are not at all constricting. The material is great, I have had no problems with the material being sheer. May 21, 2013
Surprisingly cute I saw these online and thought the legs looked really funky and unflattering (with the wide calf opening, and the slits on the hem). Then, I found the bright green on really good sale at store and figured I might as well try them on. I was shocked by how cool they look! The calf still looks a tiny bit weird (maybe this is just because I have little calves?), but these are super, super flattering on the butt and thighs! They really accentuate leg definition as well, which is always fun (I think it's the fabric). Super cute. Would get another pair if there were more colors. May 21, 2013
Sizing is Weird on the "Gather & Grow" Crops I don't know what the deal with these crops are, but I think it's a material problem. It's so thin and sheer! I'm 5'2" and 112lbs. I tried these crops on in-store in my usual size 4 and the pants were SHEER. I thought I had maybe gained some weight and should size up to a 6, so I tried on the 6 and they were falling off my hips. I really loved the freedom that my calves could have had in these crops, but they just don't fit right! May 20, 2013
Love the fit, but sweat shows through I will start by writing that the Gather and Crow is my favorite style of LLL crop. I tend to grab these out of my closet the most as I prefer a looser leg opening. I initally went to the store to get the gray pair but after trying them on noticed they accentuated my lumps and bumps so I stepped totally out of my comfort zone and tried on the purple. The color is very pretty and I found it to be very flattering. My only complaint is that with this color you see the areas in which you sweat. I wore them to boot camp class and I could see the sweat in both my lower back and my crotch area. These crops are such a basic staple I'd like to see them offered in black all year round. Too sheer - completely see through! These have always been my most loved Lulu pants. I have multiple pairs. I was so excited to receive my grey pair - until I tried them on and bent over. They are completely sheer. I got them in the same size as all my other lulu pants. The fit is great and they look great - until you move. I am SO disappointed. What is happening Lulu? I thought you were dealing with the sheerness issue. PLEASE fix your product or we will need to look elsewhere. These are absolutely NOT the quality or thickness of my other pants from prior years. So very sad. I have tried not to complain that my new inspire crops are also completely sheer - I decided since they are for running I would keep them. But, a sheer pair of yoga pants is complete nonsense! Any plans to return to prior quality levels or should we all start shopping elsewhere? May 16, 2013
