Awesome Yoga Bag!!!
I received this bag today, as I had ordered it online. I got it in the black! I am so glad I ordered it because I LOVE it! It is a great bag whether you practice yoga, or are a frequent gym-goer. I find no problem with the mesh, and when I put both my yoga mats (The Mat and the Un Mat) both did not slide out when I slung the bag over my shoulder. The only time I had issues with my Un Mat sliding out is when I tipped the bag vertically lopsided to see if it would slide out. But realistically, my Un Mat stayed in place when carrying the bag. The water bottle pocket is great as well! I don't know why people are complaining about there not being enough pockets, because I was able to fit all my yoga gear and some gym shoes in no problem, and still have room! This bag is a great investment and you will love it!!

Great bag, bleeding issues
I bought this bag after searching for one that was better than my destined for greatness duffel and think I found it! The bag itself is great, lots of room in the main compartment, and I like the underside zippered compartment to store shoes, clothes in the wet-sac etc.
I haven't had any issues with the mesh, I throw keys in there all the time and haven't had a problem. I use this bag every day for the pool and haven't had any issues so far.
Unfortunately it rained recently and the outside of the bag got wet and have had bleeding issues with the yoga mat compartment liner (hot pink) bleeding onto the cream coloured bag.

great yoga bag
I really like this bag, I bought it on a whim in the green/grey color combo and am glad I did.
So far I've found that the bag, even the mesh, is quite sturdy, so I'm not worried about it ripping (although, really, if you're concerned, stick your keys in the outside pocket). My one issue with the mesh is when there is a lot of stuff inside the bag, my mat gets caught on it when I am sticking it through the mat pocket, so I need to basically dump the bag upside down to stick the mat through. However, there are little elastic straps on the very bottom to wrap around the mat to keep it secure (there was one review complaining that their mat slides out)...
The size of the bag is perfect for all of my things and a nice size as a weekend or carry-on bag as well.

Great Gym Bag
I'm not a yoga practitioner.
I got this one in a beige/pink as a bday gift, and I love it for the gym.
I can toss my shoes and sauna sandals underneath in the "yoga mat spot", there's a zippered pocket for my keys and wallet on one side, and a phone pocket on the other.
Dual zippered top, so the top opens up fully. Another zippered set of pockets on either side of the inside of the bag. One side mesh, the other one solid fabric.
Yes, as one reviewer said, your keys could possibly get stuck in the mesh, but in that instance, the outer zippered side, or even the solid zippered pocket on the inside would work.
1 star off because although this was a bday gift. I wouldn't have personally spent $118 on a gym bag.

Originally I had wanted the Keep On Running Duffel. But when I had finally made up my mind to spend the $150 it had been sold out online & at my local store.
While this bag may not be exactly what I had wanted originally, I think it's a pretty good compromise & once I saw the price drop I knew this was the bag to get. I don't practice yoga so I've been using the compartment for my shoes, which works just fine. I love that they have finally released another bag that has a water bottle holder (why are these so hard to come by!?). It may not have as many pockets as the Keep On Running but I find the amount of pockets the bag does come with is adequate enough to keep my items organized. A much as I loved the bright green I chose the black so I wouldn't have to worry about the dirt showing & having to clean it often & when I do have to clean it the fabric wipes clean easily. I'm not one to worry about bringing my laptop to the gym with me but I do like the padded pocket for when I do decide to bring my Nook with me. I do wish the bag was a bit smaller but then again I guess the plus side is I have enough space for clothes plus my workout gear for a weekend getaway.
But... I would still love to see the Keep On Running Duffle back in stores.

Hi Lululemon!
Since i missed yellow 'keep on running duffel' i am waiting for such cool bag, monitoring your website and still don't see anythyng like this:(
When i first saw the pic i was thinking-this is it! But read carefully what's inside..
Color is perfect, and it looks nice when wearing on shoulder strap, water bottle is cool as well, not sure about how comfortable its to wear yoga mat:)
Bt please!
- add compartment for laptop 13' or some pocket with more defence, not mesh
- not mesh inside, so nothing like keys can catch on it
- add few more pockets
Or.. Just do edition 2 of 'keep on running' :)
Thanks!

I love it!
I honestly don't know why everyone is complaining. This bag is a very sturdy bag. I don't know much about yoga, but I bought this bag for gym purposes. It's not hella big but its big enough. As for the bottom part, I don't use it for the yoga bag but I do put my tennis shoes underneath. There are 3 pockets. One big one, a regular size one, and one to fit your drink. It's a roomy bag to fit your towel, extra clothes and it also comes with a shoulder strap and a little baggy for your stinky clothes. The price is not that bad due to the fact that its a sturdy bag compared to the duffel bag. Oh! And there are also two pockets on the outside of the bag therefore... plenty of pockets!

Not spectacular.
I purchased this bag so I could go from work to yoga without having to take multiple bags. It works for this purpose. The BIG issues I have with it...
1. The mat compartment is a joke. It doesn't hold your mat well, it slides right out! So I find myself holding my mat now, which before I was able to actually put my mat in my big bag.
2. The zippers are terrible. They get stuck on everything. I've only used it for a week and I've already had multiple issues with it getting stuck in the mesh.
I have gotten many compliments on the color! It's bright and pretty. I think the bottom should have been black, so it didn't get dirty as quickly.

i recently purchased this product in excitement for a classic duffel by Lululemon. i know the purchase was my decision, perhaps, a stubborn and a little impulsive, but i am now left with a pricey duffel that i won't use.
-the most expensive bag of lululemon appears functional, and sleek only to be the least of the better totes and packs of lululemon
-double zipper on top that has a flap is troublesome when you're on the go, plus the extra snap on flap
-putting the yoga mat in its compartment is troublesome depending on the size and material
-the mesh that separates the main compartment and mat compartment is "feels" unhygienic
-the zipper on the outside of the bag always get stuck to the material on the inside
-the water bottle compartment doesn't fit my tall filled water bottle and throws off the balance of the bag since there is no strong foundation or base to a duffel
-the shoulder strap is not ergonomic and just slides
i'm a big fan of the clothing apparel, but i expected so much more
and wish i waited a little longer for the urban oasis tote.
save your money and save your time without struggling around this duffel.

a generic bag not worth the price
When I first saw this bag online, I was surprised there didn't seem to be any part of the bag that indicated it was a Lulu product. You'd think that it being one of the most expensive bags they've ever produced they would be able to at least stick the Lulu emblem on the front of it or have writing on the handles that said "Lululemon." but no. There's nothing there. Before writing a review discussing how ridiculous I felt the price was, I decided to check it out in store first. I confirmed that there was no Lulu symbol on it unless you use the long across-the-body strap, and another person at the store pointed out that the footies had the symbol :P The point is, it looks like a generic bag you can get anywhere for a fifth of the price.
Fine. Whatever. The bag is a lovely color but will probably get dirty easily. The mesh is also cool, but... there is TOO MUCH MESH. The mat compartment is separated from the main compartment by MESH. That doesn't make any sense. With pulling the mat in and out and all the stuff you put into a bag... the mesh will probably not last that long. I can picture myself throwing my keys in there and having them catch and rip a whole into the mesh. It just doesn't make sense!
However, the good - Thank you, Lulu, for listening to reviews of people asking for a water bottle holder. That was nice. There are also a good number of pockets. Last, it's a decent size and not too heavy empty and doesn't make me feel like I'm hauling around a giant sack (I'm 5'3" 110 lbs). The exterior fabric is also okay, what I'd expect from a gym bag.
Anyway, for $158, this bag is a joke. The marketing scheme may be that they mark a product super high only to have people go nuts for it once the price drops, but honestly, this bag isn't worth more than $30-50 at most when compared to other bags. I bought the Keep on Running Duffel back in the fall for $148 (I already thought that price was high!), but THAT bag is a dream. This bag is... well... I sound mean saying this, but someone didn't just drop the ball, they scored for the other team. Obviously, I didn't buy it.
