why we made this

The line from necessity to vice can get a little blurry (especially after a couple glasses of Syrah). We wanted to make the transition from class to glass as easy as possible so we designed a bag with plenty of storage space. Ample room for yoga gear (and wine store booty), separate pockets for our phone and laptop as well as a stowable, removable mat strap make this bag our new go-to.

Love I have been searching for a bag like this for months! It's super functional and works great as a carry-on. Other reviewers have said the quality is poor. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that mine holds up! June 18, 2013
Gorgeous and Functional but Shows Wear Easily I bought this in black and salmon pink in Santa Monica over Spring Break when it was still full price. I love it because it's big enough to fit my macbook and my gym shoes and has compartments for everything. I noticed two weeks ago that the corners of the bag are peeling already, only a month and half after purchase. This was my first lulu bag purchase and I don't think I'll be buying more bags from lulu. May 29, 2013
Vinyasa to Garbage Need I say more? The quality, as with so much of Lululemon's product, was poor on this otherwise adorable and functional bag. Handles cracked and bag looked terrible after only very light wear. It's unfortunate - there was so much potential! :( May 23, 2013
Huge Disappointment I am a loyal lulu customer and have been for about 6 years now, I have more lululemon than I should!! This bag is adorable! I loved the design and the super flexible fabric. I was so excited to get a new bag as the one I have now from lulu is 5 years old. Unfortunately I can't recommend that anyone purchase it. The quality is nowhere near the price point. I've had the bag for less than a week and carried it twice, the handles are already cracked and peeling. The handles are black and the material its made out of must be white underneath it looks terrible. There are also quite a few nicks and scratches on it just from putting it down and picking it up. It's a huge disappointment as lulu products are usually made so well! Based on past experiences trying to return a product I can?t say that I?m super thrilled to have to go through it all again either, sigh?. May 22, 2013
Poor quality I absolutely love your products but this bag is absolutely awful. After only two days of light use,the seams started to unravel. Two days! Now I have to trek back into your store, return it and start anew on my search for the perfect gym to work bag. I am extremely disappointed in this product. May 4, 2013
Questionable quality I fell in love with this bag in the store, and purchased it. I agree with the other reviews that indicate there should be a water bottle pocket and a snap for the laptop compartment. On my second use, I was zipping it up and the zipper tab came off in my hand. The ring that connects it to the zipper snapped. My bag wasn't even full (just had my gym clothes and spinning shoes in it. I'm so disappointed with the quality! April 29, 2013
Too big I really wanted to love this bag but it didn't work for me since it was super big and on top of that my mat is super heavy I use a Manduka pro mat and it was just not right for the bag, on the other hand I will recommend this bag if you want it as a carry on traveling bag, it is very nice and it has a lot of space and compartments. Love this bag! I just bought this bag over the weekend and I love that offers so much room. I can easily fit my laptop or my Ipad in the bag and carry it comfortably with my cycling shoes and clothes. I only wish there was somewhere outside of the bag to put my water bottle so I don't have to worry about it spilling inside the bag. Other than that, I absolutely love it. April 19, 2013
Wanted to love it I really wanted to love this bag, and at first I did. I was looking for a stylish gym bag that I would be comfortable taking to work with me and this bag was great in this regard. I have the dune/black/pink version and when it first arrived, it was everything I hoped it would be--super cute with room for everything and the perfect amount of pockets for organization. I've had the bag for less than two months and really only carry it to work--very light use for what is considered a "gym" bag--but like other reviews mentioned, the pink and dune material is already coming off of the handle and peeling in other places on the bag, and not even in "high traffic" areas. Also, the seams where the laptop holder/pocket attach to the lining of the interior of the bag are already coming apart. It's a great looking bag, but I'm very disappointed in the quality for the price that I paid. April 18, 2013
